Thrown to the floor pre-car crash??

I am curious, as the most bizarre thing happened to me this week - I was crossing the road behind a lorry that was blocking the road for a bus opposite it. I believe the lorry had been reversing, but had been obliged to stop when another vehicle parked into the area it was meant to reverse into, causing a total road standstill. So, keeping an eye that the bus did not move round him, I decided to cross over. But the next thing I knew, I was sprawled across the road! At that moment, unbeknown to me, a car had overtaken both bus and lorry, and I was about to walk directly in front of it! However, I think at just the instant I fell, if not just before, the car put on its breaks, although I am sure it could not have seen me.

I ended up with a badly twisted ankle, a bruised opposite knee, and two jarred wrists. But I cannot honestly explain how or why I fell. Except thinking back on it, I would almost say it was as though my legs had been knocked from under me!!

I know some people talk about being helped or receiving subconscious advice from spirit guides... but being physically thrown to the floor??? Has anyone experienced this? Could it really have been someone watching out for me? Or was it just my clumsiness?

I have heard of it so don't rule it out. Someone is definitely watching over you.

Hi lynette, I'm a big beleiver in Angels, we all have a guardian one and others come and go.

I think they are definately watching out for you. I have heard of this happening.

I don't have any stories that dramatic but I've certainly had occurrences where something annoying popped up and prevented me from doing something I was planning to do, which turned out to be very lucky in the long run.

My sister-in-law had a couple of instances similar to yours - in one her car stalled on a road, a couple of minutes later it started again and at the next intersection she came to an over-turned truck. If she'd been there she might have been killed. So I'm thinking you had a little help and maybe your clumsiness was the most efficient tool of saving you at the time. :)

About 3 years ago I began having an annoying medical problem which didn't go away. Finally after more than a year I went and had a check up. Because of the blood tests they did they found a stage 1 cancer for which I had no symptoms. I was treated for the cancer this summer and now the original symptoms (herniated disc) have gone away. My father passed away 4 years ago and I feel he is watching over me.

I think you and Lynette have work to do here, argonne, so you received interventions to save your lives, and allow you to do it.

I fully agree with this Briar. i think it can be like a reminder of what you came here to do.

I car crashed my car really badly a number of years ago and my thought when I got out with no scratches was that all that mattered was having a cosy home and people around you wanted to be with.

I think it was a bit of a wake up call.

It can be a wake-up call, starry. As the song goes, "You don't know what you got "til it's gone". I've experienced that a few times.

Gosh, that is a deep way of looking at it, Briar! Though I suppose, thinking back, almost every major twist and turn in my life so far has had an air of 'hand of fate' about it... I have ended up in places I would never have ended up in on my own. Maybe someone really does want me to be someone or somewhere definite and particular!!! Reassuring, I suppose, but in some ways a scary thought! yikes

It is kind of scary, and humbling, to think the Universe wants something of us, but of course, it wants something from everyone. I firmly believe that the reason human souls exist is to experience for the Divine.
