Two boys and two past lives

I thought some of you might find the following story of interest.

(Link expired)http://www.paranormalreview.com/reincarnation/two-boys-two-past-lives-and-confusion/

The very short version follows:

Boy number one is a Muslim boy living in the Canadian province of Newfoundland who, after a visit to India, became convinced that he had lived a previous life in that country.

Boy number two is a Spanish boy who was identified in 1985 as the reincarnation of a revered guru by the Dalai Lama and others, when he was just 14 months old.

I wonder why lamas would not be reincarnated close geographically to where they passed. Why be reborn so far from their associates in their previous incarnation and be hard to find? Of all people they would seem to me to be the most in control of where and how they are reborn!

Treehugger,

I believe they incarnate to the parents and locale where they will most rapidly advance spiritually and be able to assist others in their endeavors to advance.

In my opinion, when the spirit reaches the level of a Lama then their individual achievement comes more from helping others than themselves.

Discovery and recall of past lives is certainly an uplift with regard to gaining insite into ones self. Knowledge of the past will certainly aid in dealing with the future, don't you agree?

I feel application of the past life information is the goal moreso than the mere discovery of it.

Yes, I agree. It takes time and deep thought to understand what this aid may be and how each of us can apply it. To me this uniqueness, this individual trait, is the greatest beauty...once we discover it.

I feel application of the past life information is the goal more so than the mere discovery of it.
Yes! I agree with this statement completely. It is easy to get caught up in the "story" or stories...but how do we use this information and knowledge to prosper our soul's journey, is the bigger miracle.
