Wake-Up Call

If anyone has NetFlix, they have an excellent documentary called "Wake-Up", about a young man who's third eye opens after the death of a friend. It was interesting enough that I didn't grow "fidgety", and begin multi-tasking during it's two hour length! If anyone has the time, and a NetFlix subscription, I recommend this film. :)

I watched it the other day and was looking for 'clues' to validate it with my own memories of experiences. I have a friend who knows of some of my tales and he was excited when he found it on Netflix and asked me of my opinion of it. I told him I didn't see anything in the documentary to give me an indication he was dealing with directly with spirit. Instead, I heard something he said that made me question everything he said. He said the 'angels' he had seen - had wings. To me, this is stuff made of fairy tales and there is no truth to it.

The first encounter I had with 'angelical' beings was during and after a NDE as a child in diapers. From the age of 1 to the age of 28 - my life was filled with encounters with 'divine beings' who came to me in the name of the divine. There is only one encounter where - it appeared that the 'divine being' had something like 'wings' - but it wasn't made of feathers as much as it was 'radiating light' that was extending outward due to the appearance of it. That sort of thing only happened once and when I asked about it - it was explained to me why I was seeing the 'rays of light' that had gave the appearance of a 'wing like' impression on my mind. It was not the rule as much as it was the exception.

I also read that this (opening or psychic awareness) happened after the death of a friend. That is not true. It started prior to the friend passing - and there was nothing in the documentary that convinced me he had communicated with the spirit of his departed friend. What he expressed was a premonition about the friend passing prior to the event.

He speaks only about the initial 'happening' but doesn't go into details or specifics about it - other than to say "I see spiritual energy." The one thing I related to was his mentioning of seeing 'visions' that related to 'geometrical equations.' I could related to this from my experiences in the early 80's. When tuning into spirit - I would refer to this as a 'static' realm - or a lower mental realm. In the 80's when trying to talk to my friends about it - I would reference 'AM/FM' radio. Everyone who wanted to listen to 'good' and 'clear' music - would tune into the FM stations. AM stations had static between the 'frequency's' until you tuned into a lower range of vibrations that presented a faint tune. To me, I would refer to this as the 'jungle' you had to hack your way though and out of - to break through to the 'clearer' reception of the 'spiritual realm.' The 'geometrical equations' represented the 'earth realm' and it was a 'mess' as far as my mind was concerned - because it involved 'human life' rather than 'spirit' free from the gravity of time.

Jonas Elrod has several interviews on Youtube for call in stations like "Coast to Coast" and everything I have heard from him in these interviews - gives reference to that 'AM' frequency I tried to reference back in the early 80's. In one interview he references some of the 'voices' he hears - as pranksters. This is something I related to a great deal. This 'realm' or 'frequency' is full of what can be 'termed' as the 'pranksters' or 'tricksters.' I was hoping he would go into more depth and details about his experiences with this - but he doesn't. He also spoke of the 'evil or dark' spirits and admitted his 'fear' and how his 'fear' would grow and it would feed upon itself to produce more 'dark forms.' This is something that goes on (in what I called) the "AM" frequency a great deal due to the 'static' involved.

I recommend listening to his interviews on Youtube as well. I can appreciate the hardship and burden he expresses in his documentary in trying to cope with the sudden 'awareness' of this static realm of energy forms.

Sincerely,

DKing

I liked the documentary, and had a lot of sympathy for the difficulties in his life. He didn't seem "stable" to me, (by social norms) at the beginning of the documentary, but by the end seemed more centered, and comfortable in his skin. I will look for the interviews, when I have time. I'm not qualified to judge the exact quality of his experiences. I tend to take people's evaluations of their own experiences at face value. If he says he is in contact with his friend, then he is! I thought that he and his girl friend had a soul-level relationship, especially when she described their first meeting. It was the classic "recognition" that comes with a past-life relationship. I thought it was no coincidence that her name was "Mara", the demon who tempted Buddha by asking, "Who are you to make these claims?" She is loving, and supporting him through his spiritual awakening, and to me, that says a lot.

I had a little more appreciation for his experience - after listening to his interviews - but for the most part - he is still reluctant to speak directly about the details of his experience. For myself personally, I have to admit - I was disappointed in the lack of details. I feel the documentary is more about the struggle to cope with these type of experiences - rather than the experiences them self.

Other than this board - I participate (or lurk) on the 'after-death communication' message board. Reincarnation and 'after-death communication' where the two main themes after my own near-death experience. I (on the other hand) do not believe everyone's claim about 'communication' with spirits. I was having these type of experiences long before they were popular in the media. Unfortunately - there are less than honorable intentions hidden away sometimes and I am saddened by that. I also feel there are 'honorable intentions' by some to have this sort of experience - and - they produce it through a form of mental deception. (Strange, but I am the biggest skeptic when it comes to claims of 'after-death communications - because of my own experiences with it.)

I have new found respect for Jonas's testimony after I heard his speak about the 'pranksters.' This is very important to understand about the 'static zone' of the spiritual realm. In the documentary - Jonas did give a person like me the understanding that he was aware of the 'pranksters' and had done something to verify the spirit of his 'good friend' - as well as his 'grandmother.' It may sound biblical - but unfortunately - it is true. There are 'spiritual energy' forms (who are very crafty, wise and intelligent) you have to safeguard yourself against. If your gullible in the beginning stage of this awareness - they are going to pounce on you and try to deceive you as much as possible. Jonas didn't go into this in the documentary (probably because it is can be a very scary topic for some,) but he did go into detail with it in one of his interviews. It goes back to something my Grandfather told me when I was 18. You have to 'test the spirit' to ensure your dealing with the 'divine' rather than the sinister 'pranksters.'

I had no doubt Jonas was dealing with a 'spirit' - but - was it communication with the spirit of his 'good friend' - or something else all together. This is what I wasn't convinced of. If all he had was an 'audible' experience - then - I would be highly suspect. If all he had was 'object's' move around in a room an audible experience - I would be highly suspect. If he had a visual experience - I would have liked to have heard the details to confirm it as a valid process. Of course, the average person who hasn't had these experiences - wouldn't be as keen on these details as myself. (My experience is - when it comes to the spiritual realm - it is a vast jungle out there and you have to be cautious about how you trust to lead your though that maze.)

In every single one of my 'thousands' of experiences - there is a process that the 'angel' made a 'verbal reference to in the other story I shared. If it comes in the name of the divine - then - the person experiencing this will have a way of expressing that 'name of the divine' in a parable sense. You can't mistake it - or pass over it - or forget it when it happens to you directly. The pranksters do not come in the 'name of the divine.' Their sole job is to lead a 'mind' away from the divine. They can not produce that process (or duplicate the chime of the divine name) in the spiritual realm. For myself - I like to see or hear some sort of parable expression that represents that process in other people's testimony, but understand that I don't always do so in my writing process. I haven't put together a documentary of my experiences - but if I did condense it all down to a 2 hour format - I would put that as a high priority on my list.

Most religions and spiritual teachings of history - make light of the fact - there is 'spiritual warfare' going on. There is the battle of 'light against dark.' The "AM zone" or 'spiritual realm' I feel Jonas is given testimony of - is the 'war zone' of the spiritual realm. (In one of the interviews - he spoke briefly about his encounter with a 'dark spirit' and it parallels what I know if it.)

Overall - it is a great video and opens the doors to the minds of others - I just wished it would have covered the 'danger zones' as well. When speaking about the 'third eye' or (kundalini like) experience - all yoga masters know and speak of the dangers of trying to force an opening on a mind that is not prepared to handle the weight of that. (What I called the AM frequency's - I just read an entry on Wikipedia which refers to it as 'corporal energy.' You know the 'gassy look' of energy coming off the blacktop on a hot day? You have to have the right angle to see this sort of 'invisible energy' or hidden material field.)

I (personally) feel more comfortable with his testimony after hearing him make a brief reference to the 'pranksters' or 'tricksters." If he is aware of them and their 'workings' - then he is less likely to have been fooled into thinking (by them) that he had a 'communication' with his friend who had passed on. This is what I was referencing when I stated - I wasn't convinced by his documentary or testimony that he had a 'valid' 'after-death communication' with the spirit of his friend. These 'pranksters' can deceive an unsuspecting mind into that idea - very easily.

Sincerely,

DKing

I can't yet deal with that level of reality. Being "punked" by prankster spirits would be too much for me. Even the well-meaning ones are a challenge. I think Guidance doesn't let things through that we are not prepared to handle.

Sounds like an interesting film, I'll have to check it out. Thanks Briarose!

When I was growing up I had two mentors and both were Police Officers in my hometown. They were two of the very few I was able to relate my spiritual experiences to - who reacted in a very loving and kind way. I really looked up to Police Officers in that regard.

One night - I was in the middle of a 'spiritual experience' and a police officer got involved. I was minding my own business when a very 'high' level and ranking spirit showed up. There were different levels of spirit due to a hierarchy I was aware of. I always equated it to the ranks in the military. You had corporals, sergeants, lieutenant and so on. Depending on what their spiritual rank was - would depend on my response. The spirit of a deceased person would be nothing more than a 'private.' Not big deal in my mind. I had so many of those type of encounters - it was no big deal.

Depending on the rank of the spirit - would be the level of intoxication that came with it - or 'pure bliss and joy.' The higher the rank - the greater the reflection of the divine that occurred. I was not a Christian back then and didn't have an understanding of that religions hierarchy or chain of command - but I later told someone,

"In my world of understanding and spirit - that spirit carried the same rank as Christ himself. Same rank and file because of the direct association. It was a representative of that office of command. You can't (as a spirit) get a higher ranking than that in this world." I said that at the time because most Christians felt that was the highest ranking Spirit in the world of man.

Because of that 'spiritual intoxication' and presence of such a high degree of 'divine nature' - I lost control of my senses in a way. I couldn't help but give direct testimony of this spirit in my presence. The officer thought was either on 'drugs' or 'drunk.' It was a 'spiritual high' and I didn't know how to tone it down to talk to another human being. I was trying to get this 'cop' to open his inner 'eye' and inner 'ear' to catch sight of this high ranking spirit. I didn't know how to put words into a religious format back then - so - it really came out sounding weird and whacky.

He wanted to take me in for a 'blood test' to see what sort of intoxicating substance I was under the influence of. I told him I was clean as a whistle and didn't mind taking the ride with him to prove it to his mind and made arrangements to park my car on the side street so I could come back and get it. (He told me he or the police department wouldn't be under any obligation to provide me with transportation back.)

This spirit told me enough to pass onto the police officer that it eventually touched his heart and opened his mind some.

On the way to the police station - the officer admitted to me that he totally believed I had been 'blessed with' some sort of mystical sight of something - but - he wasn't prepared or ready to deal with the direct sight of what I had described to him. This echoed what the 'divine spirit' was telling me. The officer was not equipped mentally, physically or spiritually to deal with the direct sight and sound of it - without losing his grip on the reality that held his mind together.

The police officer made me swear out a promise to him that night. He told me that he was full of doubts and suspicion of me at first, but - I had given him something he had needed. Hope. He made me promise to not allow the world to change me and keep me from giving 'testimony' of what I did have sight of and understanding of.

Back then, I really didn't have understanding of the 'big deal' associated with that sort of sight. You had to take the 'good with the bad' in that - I had encountered a large 'group' of the pranksters that night and did battle with them on behalf of this spirit. (Which, I did tell the officer about - and told him not to look behind him - because they were every where trying to get in a 'sneak attack.') I was sort of dancing a 'victory' dance with this divine spirit when the police officer came along. The "Spirit" told me the mind of the officer was not prepared to deal with the 'pranksters' because of the 'sinister' and 'wicked' game these things played. I was past that and dealt with them with ease. I had built up an 'invisible shield' or 'aura of protection' from them mentally when dealing with there sight directly. That night - I came to call my 'sight' headlights. I felt I had 'high beams' that others were not equipped to handle. It was for that very reason. The sight of what some can call the 'pranksters' or 'tricksters.'

Another piece of trivia about the Seattle connection. I told Kurt about this story and how - people were not equipped to see the 'pranksters' and that is what made life hard on some. Kurt mentioned something about how he thought the world would be a better place if everyone equipped themselves with that sort of 'light' to see while driving around the darkness of time. I told him in theory - yes - but in reality - the problem was the 'ugliness' of those pranksters. I told him, "In this sort of case, driving around with the lights out - is less dangerous."

I told Kurt that from the teachings I had received from 1978 to 1986, I was totally convinced that if everyone in the world simultaneously opened up their 'inner eye' all at once and without warning - everyone would run over each trying to get away from the sight of those "flying monkeys." I told Kurt about the saying 'we have nothing to fear - but fear itself." This was very true in the spiritual realm because these 'pranksters' fed on 'fear.' This was something I identified with in Jonas's testimony when he described in his interview his response to the sight of them suddenly. There is a 'sort of' spiritual fear they fed upon in a frenzied manner. There was a 'trail and error' period in my childhood where I learned not to do this - so - by the time I was a young adult - I had mastered this. This was something I would have liked seen expanded on in his documentary. But then again, I wouldn't have the slightest idea how to write down any sort of 'blueprint' or book or produce a documentary to illustrate this method or technique to another human being. Maybe I was wanting to watch the documentary and find Jonas had put together something that was a 'blueprint' to overcome this sort of mystical obstacle in the path of many a mind, because I have wanted to for so many years. If he had - then - I would be past that thought - finally.

I do like the way the documentary presents itself without dragging in a 'religious' agenda of sorts and I think that is a problem in modern day society. Too many people feel religion has been abused and misused over the centuries of time. In the end, it is the same old story. Good verses evil.

Looking back on my childhood and early adult life when I had sight of this 'sort of punking' going on an daily basis - everyone would be very surprised just how routine and normal it is going on - on a day to day basis without anyone having direct sight of it. It was hidden from view and when I brought it up - people would deny it happening just because they couldn't see it. I came to believe - this was the best way for some minds to deal with the hidden 'reality' of it. Sight - unseen. Just surround yourself with joy, happiness and laughter. The thing that 'hurts' their little ears more than anything else in the world- is the sound of laughter. Why? Because they know God can't be far off when the sound of laughter is heard.

1978-1979

This would have been my year of almost continuous sight. I didn't know how to control it and it just came. I learned to keep the 'sight' to myself and would drive around the city streets to follow after and study the 'dark energy forms.' (Or what some might call 'pranksters or tricksters.) I tried to find a parable about it and I had been to someone house that had a 'bug infestation.' You didn't want to turn on the light in the middle of the night - because of the sight of these pests 'insects' running for the darkness. This was what it was like for me - when 'sight' came - the "pranksters" wouldn't run and hide themselves. I came to call them some sort of 'parasite' because they always seemed to be feeding on some sort of 'energy' that some people would emote from themselves.

Some neighborhoods where more infested than others. I would see them in yards, hanging in trees, sitting on rooftops, sitting on top of cars, sitting on telephone poles and any place imaginable. The reason I took to calling them 'flying monkeys' was because they sort of had that look of a monkey - and they did fly. Freaked me out when I saw this the first time. I learned to stop talking about the 'pranksters' when the idea upset adult minds.

Schoolyards. Some more than others - but I was guaranteed an infestation on any school yard I drove to while children were present. Junior High Schools were the absolute worst. The ones with the 'worst reputations' for violence and mayhem - would be the ones that had the most present hanging around the vicinity. Standing room only type of thing.

I asked around about the school's that had the worst reputation for troubled youth and I drove there and sat across the street trying to study the 'pranksters' and how they 'fed' on the emotions of the kids. I learned these things were 'bilingual.' I could hear them 'speaking' in their own voice - but if they were around Latino's - then I heard them speaking Spanish. I didn't understand a word of Spanish - but - when I had 'sight' in spirit - something inwardly would decipher the language into English for my mind. I would only be able to do this with the 'pranksters' because there was a 'spiritual foundation' to their talk that I felt my own inner spirit could translate into English for me.

What they 'fed' on was 'dark emotions.' Hate, anger, fear and the likes. (And yes, the teen angst of lust.) What I saw that really bothered me - and it bothered other people when I told them about it - was how these 'things' or 'dark forms' would put words in people's mouth. Over and over again - I witnessed this to the point that I called many people 'puppets' because they didn't speak their own mind about matters at hand as much as they were like 'wooden dummies' for a ventriloquist.

I was watching the schoolyards waiting for a 'fight' to break out between classmates. I mean, it happens all the time at that level of society. To me - it was like a 'dog fight' and the human was the 'dog' and the 'spirit' was the one who had jumped up on the back of the two involved trying to come to blows with one another. I felt if those two boys knew they were being taken advantage of by those 'pranksters' like that - they wouldn't have stood for it. I learned very quickly that if these things found out that you had 'sight' of them - they would start howling like crazy and set their sights on you.

I was attacked by a mob of teenagers once - verbally rather than physically - because I did have 'sight' and 'sound' of the 'dark spirits' that were trying to motivate them. These 'spirits' tried to convince the 'boys' mind - that I had dirty business on my mind. Heck, I looked 15 years old back then and I thought it was the strangest thing to accuse me of being a 'molester' of young boys. I told them,

"Heck, I am too dang good looking to molest you. Heck, a good looking fellow like me has more to worry about that from the likes of your guys than a group of you do from the likes of me. Who is fooling who here? Don't flatter yourselves with thoughts like that. In your dreams maybe."

The boys broke out in laughter and those 'pranksters' took off running like the wind to get away from the sound of our laughter. That was the beginning of me learning that laughter was a weapon against them.

These things were always trying to intensify the 'dark emotions' of a person or a group of people to get them to react to the dark emotion without thinking. If there is a 'center' for emotions - from what I saw of it in my days of 'sight' - it was the stomach area. These 'pranksters' were constantly 'clawing' at that area to get an emotional response from a human being - all the time - trying to put words into their mouths to react to it verbally. If they reacted in a hateful or angry manner, - a substance would flow forth from their mouths and the 'dark pranksters' would fed upon.

Whether you can 'see' and 'hear' them or not - I feel we grow up and learn from the sort of mistakes that come from that 'disharmony' that comes from that sort of situation. I often said I didn't like the idea of reincarnation and when my friends asked me why - I would tell them,

"The worst place to be in the world - is Junior High. That is the worst war zone in the world. I think I have earned my strips from my own mistakes during this lifetime from that period. To think I have to go through that again - scares the heck of me unlike anything else the world can throw at me."

What made me cringe was having 'sight' of those pranksters getting fat off all the turmoil, strife and conflict during that 'coming of age' period in our young lives. I don't think you really have to have sight of the 'pranksters' to know how to deal with them directly. It is something we learn how to cope with one way or another 'growing' up in the world as we do.

But that is still one thing that 'terrifies' me about reincarnation. Somewhere out there in the future world of ours - there is a Junior High with my name on it. Still makes me cringe thinking about it.

Sincerely,

DKing

I agree about Jr. High. Maybe that's why many have been converted to "Middle Schools". I wonder what school psychologists would think when they read this? I have always felt that Jr. High teachers should get "Combat pay".

Due to my medical condition in Junior High - and some extraordinary circumstances - I was able to speak directly to school administrators and officials about my 'second sight' as well as psychologists on the college level. I lived in a community that had a very strong religious foundation and they received my testimony with a very open mind in sort of a new age understanding. In the coming years, I had to work closely with psychologists due to my medical condition and I came to embrace the science involved in the 'study of the soul.'

The word psychology literally means, "study of the soul" (????, psukh?, meaning "breath", "spirit", or "soul"; and -????? -logos, translated as "study of" or "research". Wiki
But yes, my opinion was that a trained psychologist was more qualified and better trained to deal with the problem than placing preachers with 'holy water' on the edge of a playground.

The talks I recall having with school officials is - they recognized the many problems associated with the assembly of a large collection of young students facing puberty and adolescence - and they felt the battleground didn't start on the playground at school as much as it was the home-front. Parental skills - and I totally agree. I think that was the first time I heard the saying about 'you have to have a license to drive a car - but any fool can have a baby and try and raise a child.' This was a theme that was discussed at varying lengths up to 1980 when I spoke to government officials about my 'near-death experiences' and the old subject of the 'pranksters' was brought up. (The government went back to my schools and interviewed classmates and teachers to check up on some of my stories. They also had access to my medical files and knew I had once been pronounced dead by two trained physicians. So, they took my testimony very seriously and outlined some of the problems associated with 'State regulation' as far as monitoring the home-front and parental skills.) They felt that Americans valued their freedom and the separation of Church and State - so - there were many political obstacles that had to be hurdled. Hence, the psychological view verses the fundamental 'religious' view.

One thing I am very proud of (at my age) is looking back and recalling the fact that many top officials in government said they were going to look at improving the quality of personal at the Jr. High level of school administration. There is a law that went into effect and one of the persons I spoke with back in 1980 was responsible for helping push that through and getting it passed on a national level. If a child reports sexual abuse to a teacher - that teacher now has a legal obligation to report it to the proper authorities. In my day - that was not the case and I spoke to many 'children' (classmates) who had a very nasty parasite (prankster) after them - and the classmates told me time and time again about going to a teacher to get help with it and being told it was not the teacher or schools problem. In my day, it wasn't a stranger in a trench coat standing on the corner you had to worry about as much as it was the bully on the playground you had to worry about.....our own peers. From the age of 13 to the age of 18, when I had second sight and could see the 'workings' of these hidden 'things' doing their thing - that was the worst one and it was running rampant, wild and free in all the schools I had visited. It was not an isolated incident. The government officials agreed it was a national wide epidemic back in the early 80's and agreed something had to be done to address the problems and issues without trying to stir up 'witch hunts' in the process.

That was my advise to them in 1980. They had to address it from a psychological level - rather than a superstitious level associated with 'religious' theory. If I accomplish nothing else in my life - I will die a happy man knowing I had a small hand in inspiring those involved to see the need for that sort of legislation on a national level.

(I was asked to put my story on hold and not stir up political opposition to many of the 'problem areas' I pointed out to them. They felt they needed to approach the issues like an 'actual war' and loose lips - sink ships. The religious thing has become such a political issue and my advisers saw that on the horizon back in 1980.)

I told them I felt I had a very personal stake in the issues. Some where out there - there is a Junior High my soul is going to be enrolled in. Making it safer for others - as well - as my self. Belief in reincarnation can be a great motivating factor - if we feel we have a very personal stake in the future of our country.

I think maybe that it I was hoping when I read the synopsis of this documentary (Wake Up) I was hoping there would be more material covered that would prove to help make that future "Jr. High" safe for all of us future students in coming generations. Of course, in its own way - it is.

Sincerely,

DKing
