Weight Loss and Thinning of my hair.

I have been struggling to lose weight ever since I was a teener. My confidence was not really good way back in High School due to the fact that I am on the heavier side. I know it sounds off but yes, body image seems to have a major impact on my life.

I have engaged myself to unhealthy eating just to lose the excess weight. Literally, this destroyed my body, because I became physically weak and I could not concentrate. The final straw was when I noticed that my hair is thinning. It freaked me out and I was thinking that it was because of poor diet.

Does anyone of you experienced the same things?

I can feel your pain, I am also struggling to lose weight for the past 4 years. I've never experience hair thinning though, maybe you lack some nutrients that why your hair is thinning. Make sure that you eat healthy.

I have read that weight problems, both over and under, are past life related. It would help a great deal to discover the past life cause of the problem.

It's strange I am loosing alot of weight lately.

maybe it's past life related?

I do look alot younger. Some grey hairs

have been falling out? My hair is darker

and thicker?

Weight problems and hair loss can be past life related, but can also be a choice you made for your present life as a learning experience. As simple of a choice as it may first seem, many people have huge issues over these, which makes them perfect experiences for any soul to tackle. Doesn't mean its karma; it may just be a choice for the sake of experiencing. No one comes into life without some difficulty to overcome.

I knew someone who died from trying to conquer their weight problem.

Have you been to the doctor? I would get this checked by a doctor. Sudden weight loss can be a sign of cancer. If you have grey hair you are old enough to have a colonoscopy. Colon cancer is the second most common cancer after lung cancer. My dad's sister, mother, and aunt died from colon cancer. Do you have medical insurance? Don't put off seeing a doctor.

Also have your thyroid checked. You may have hypothyroidism.

I must agree that for some people, the looks maybe a major things. I am contemplating lately and realized that before I can do anything that will work, I must accept myself first.More than anyone else, loving and caring for myself should not be put on the last.I think everything else will follow if I give importance to my over all being

I am advised by a GP to talk to a dietitian so someone can help me supervise my meals to ensure my health will be regained. Although, I am still conscious of my hair thinning, I am positive that this too can be resolved the natural way. But I am also looking for other options.

Hair loss is common to people with drastic weight loss experience because of poor nutrition but the hair should regrow when the eating disorder stops.

The most important thing to lose weight is reasonable exercise, in the diet you should not too harsh, usual meals is the most important.
