You can come back grandma

As I began to read another thread about "gramma", my heart was doing somersaults. My story is very similar: Let me try to condence the facts:

My first child of two, my only son, died of a rare form of leukemia October 22, 2008. My daughters son was born January 26, 2009. I was very very close to my son. My bond with him was strong. I need not explain the devestation I felt first hearing his diagnosis, then his death almost five years later. He was 24 when he died, just shy of his 25th birthday January 18th.

At the moment of his death, I experienced a profound sense of love towards my son. I remember physically glancing at his body as I felt this, and I attributed it to the love of God for him. It seemed as if it was not of this earthly realm...I cannot put into words the experience.

After his death I felt a profound sense of "its okay". I was/am deeply spiritual, prayerful, and attend church weekly. After my grandson was born, (I was present for his birth), I bonded to him as if he was sent to us directly from heaven.

I have been his primary caregiver since his birth, and he and I love each other very much.

The first unexplainable occurence happened when we were visiting the cemetary where my son is buried. We were walking by a new grave and he stopped to ask about it in such a way an 18 month old can. When I answered that someone must have just died and was buried, he stepped back in horror and stated..."died"....hurt...."

The next incident was about a year later when he declared suddenly for no reason..."I died....I died in this house...I cried....". My son died in our home.

Since then, I have kept note of many comments or questions coming from his so young self, things like...

"you mean when i was big?"
"i fly back to see gramma and grampa again"
"look, a river just like in heaven"
"you can come back gramma"
"you can stay gramma if you want to"
"i cried because you cried gramma"
"you can just come back gramma" (we were discussing my age vs his age and I probably would be dead when he was 70.

There are many others I could describe, like...

He saw pictures of my son on a hunting trip with his Dad and he asked "can grampa have that face again and can we go on a trip again? Later the next day he woke from a nap and looked so sad, I asked him what was the matter, he said "can I have my picture"? Yes, that picture of my son and his Dad.

He is incredibly wise, beyond his years, he is so affectionate, loves his gramma n grampa so much.

There is more to tell.

I still struggle with it all. I miss my Little Kevin and his uniqueness. I find myself not accepting the replacement of my boy....I cannot intellectually wrap my mind around it...but what other conclusion can be drawn?

Hope this helps someone.

A good step for you would be to get Carol Bowman's books. They will make it easier for you to understand reincarnation. I found them to be very enjoyable to read and quite informative.

When asking questions be sure not to lead him to the answers you want, just ask open ended questions, and take notes. I am years down the road in this journey and my notes are invaluable. I am missing one book of them, and I hope to stumble upon them soon.

I am glad you have your son back in your grandson and that you are able to spend lots of time with him. I hope raising him is helping you heal. There is nothing quite like the love of a grandchild ... my first will be here anyday ...

Good luck to you.

Welcome to the forum Lauriesheri,

I hope you don't mind - I made your post its own thread, as I believe it deserves responses directly to you and for you. You can change the title if you want or I can for you.

I do hope you share more - and if there is anything I can help you with, please do not hesitate to ask.

Yes, I actually did order one of them. I read it last year. It was very interesting, and i have spent some time researching this phenomena. Thank you for your advice, it is tempting to try to get as much information out of the little guy. After the hunting picture incident I decided to really cool it, as it seemed to make him sad thinking about it. So I never bring anything up, only remain observant to any comments or gestures he might make. (one day I caught him just mesmerised by my sons picture on the wall for like a full 2 minutes...

So crazy. I was told by one of my sons best buddies that he had a dream about little kevin riding his bike n when he came out of the garage he was elijah riding a bike. And I have never mentioned any of this stuff to him, I never see him. He said it was nice seeing a "little danks" (they called my son danks). I had to hold back or I would have spilled my story.

Welcome to the forum. Yes, keep a journal and write down everything he says, etc. Otherwise you will forget and he won't remember. Carol wrote a book called "Return From Heaven". Be sure to read that. Here is a question that I have asked others here with similar cases. Since you know the birth dates of both your son and grandson, go to an astrology website that has a calculator. Plug in the birth date of your son and it will calculate the astrology chart and positions. Print that out or write it down. We are mainly interested in the Sun and Moon signs or positions. Now do the same with your grandson's birth date. Let us know what the Sun and Moon signs are for both of them and I will explain more.

thank you. I looked it up

My son Kevin- sun 28 degree capricorn / moon 17 deg pisces

My grandson Elijah sun 05 degree aquarius / 23 deg virgo

I dont know what it all means though. I will definately look into carols book.

The great American psychic Edgar Cayce said that when a person dies prematurely the astrology signs (especially Sun and Moon) at their birth will be reversed or "flipped" when they are reborn in the next life. He also said when a person has lived a full life the astrology signs on the moment of death will be the astrological birth signs when they are reborn. In other words they pick up where they left off. We know of two cases, including one on this forum, where the birth signs are the exact opposite of the person who died. But there are also cases where this is not true. So we don't know how accurate Cayce's prediction is. This is all so new still.

Soul Moment

"I decided to see if possibly he was talking about a past life I had remembered a few years ago, so I asked him my name. Daniel smiled and replied, "you were Butch," and then he said, "my name was Alishia." A sense of joy rushed through my body. A thrill that can only be described as a soul moment, an awareness, a recognition that went beyond words"

Deborah:

I had a soul moment with Elijah when he was about 35 months. We were playing with his toys at my house, when he started playing a "I came back game". (he emptied out the toy chest, got in, closed the lid, sprang out and said "I came back gramma!....he did this several times, he was having fun, while I sat there in a state of shock! But it gets better. I think i I asked him if it was happy or sad up in Heaven (trying to get inside info), and he said he cried (because I cried), then he proceeded to tease me and said "I drink beer make me laugh". He was smiling when he saud it, he was really happy. He shocked me as I feel he knew he would. I had him repeat it. I answered "oh no you won't". Then he said I drink apple juice, laughing at me.

Now, pertinent to this is the fact that my son Kevin drank beer too much in my opinion, and he would hear me lecture him time and again. He would chuckle if I was around and he was having a beer cus he knew how straightlaced I was about that.

So as Elijah was joking about beer I automatically felt like Kevin was there teasing me again. It was surreal. Almost to the point of my questioning my own sanity! I cannot prove anything but my inner self knew and his inner self knew, that we were sharing a joke from another time...

Truly life-changing.

Very interesting. I think we are the vanguard of a revolution in Western thinking. Until a few years ago very few westerners believed in reincarnation. The skeptics would always say, "you can't prove it." But now the evidence is overwhelming. Especially when you can search the internet and verify what they are saying is real.

Hi Lauriesheri,

Life changing it is.:cool The children teach us so much. Thank you for sharing your - soul moments. Funny thing is - as much as we try to share the experience, the written word just isn't the same. BUT I (we) know what you mean.
