Hi
Just joined so after my you tube account suggested I watch Carol's video on past lives. Not fate, just 'cookies' that saw me watching the series, A ghost inside my child! I am English and live in England with my husband and two daughters.
This involves our eldest daughter B who is now 15, born in February 2003. On the anniversary of 9/11 we were sat together on the sofa watching the news on tv. I remember her being about 2 and a half but honestly can't remember if her language skills would be as developed for what she said so maybe she was about three and a half. I had my arm around her anyway and the anniversary of 9/11 came up as a news article. It showed the towers being hit. Then images of the collapsed buildings and the twisted metal were shown and B very calmly and matter of factly said, "I remember that". I said no that was before you were born. She said, "No, I was there. I was trapped, I couldn't breathe and it was very hot and I couldn't get out". She went on to tell me she was shouting out and she was scared. I remember being completely shocked but kept my cool despite feeling like I couldn't breathe and I continued to look at the tv whilst saying again that it was before she was born. That is all she has ever said but to this day it's sends a shiver over my whole body.
I told my mum and husband but for years didn't tell anyone else as I just thought people would think I was insensitive and making it up. It wasn't until I watched ghost inside my child that someone else mentioned 9/11 and I thought maybe what B said, could be real.
I told B when I think she was about 11 but she remembers nothing
She was a content baby, slept through from 6 weeks old. At about 15 months old started to going through the 'terrible 2's' very early! Attitude beyond her years. She always slept well but would have occasional nightmares about our house burning down. She can't watch programmes about fire disasters and worried a lot about a fire happening if we moved house. She would not want to sleep at her grandma and grandad's for the same reason.
This is still her biggest fear. She does not know why but still worries about it. I do not know why either. We have never had a fire, no one she knows has, no near misses. We have smoke alarms and would have to reassure her with them by telling her they were working. She was the same in hotels.
She started off life being very confident, would talk to anyone and this could be just my fault as I'm not outgoing and do not socialise much but she is now very shy and doesn't like to go far from home. She only sees friends at school. She associates better with older people and seems quite happy to live like this. I just worry! I wonder if it's related. Is it because of possible past life trauma? I wonder who she could have been cut with so little info to go on I doubt we will ever know. She laughs about it if the subject ever comes up.
