1972 Seance

In 1972 my sister and our teenage friends held a seance in Ontario, Canada. During that seance, we believe that contact was made with the spirit of the rock star Jimi Hendrix who died two years previously. Other paranormal phenomena followed, including automatic handwritings (poems), dreams, co-incidences, and several photos were taken of spirit expressing itself through a medium. Some of this information was later passed on to several of Jimi's famous musician friends. I have written a movie script called "The Marshmallow Box" (2018) about this experience and am awaiting feedback at this time. This may eventually lead to a book by the same name. Jimi's cause of death was not explored but his interest in spiritual subjects, such as reincarnation and life after death was and it is not widely known that he was involved in this type of investigation.

Apparently Monika Danneman, Jimi's girlfriend, who was with him in London the night that he died, wrote a book called "The Inner World of Jimi Hendrix" which was published decades after his death in 1995. In that book, she made public Jimi's interest in reincarnation and the spiritual worlds. However, because of the controversy over her possible involvement in his death, she received some unpopular press and her own death was surrounded by mystery. Like Monika, I hope to illuminate the public about Jimi's hidden side as I feel that he was largely misunderstood and exploited in his lifetime.

From "The Marshmallow Box" - communication from Jimi Hendrix (1972). "Dawn streaks red across the sands of time and still I cry follow me, follow me." In this he is saying that he's found a better place to be (follow me into the spiritual worlds and let me show you this wonderful place.) "Acid in my bones, I saw the air flash. When I opened my eyes, oh baby, nobody ever dies." He wants you to know that life is continuous.
