Her main statements
- When the girl, Célina, was about a year and a half old, she and her family drove past a red Alfa Romeo 146. She spontaneously commented: 'car daddy'. Her mother asked her: "Is that daddy's car" and she replied "Yes." It turns out that her father René really did drive exactly such a car two years before Célina was born. One year before she was born, the family got another car which Célina also used to call 'car daddy' (i.e.: auto pappa). Célina was born in 2000 and the person her parents have identified as the one she was talking about died in 1999.
- When Célina was about two years old, her mother repeatedly told her the story of her family and of the love between her parents. One day, Célina commented that she was present at the wedding. She told her mother that she had been her mother's grandma. Both her mother Natascha and father René have confirmed that she really said this. The only grandma who could apply was grandma Jeanne, because her mother's other grandmother was still alive at the time.
- One day, when Célina was two and a half years old, she was playing with her dolls. She suddenly asked her mother Natascha: "I am your child, am I not, mommy?" Her mother lovingly replied that she was and asked her whether her doll was Célina's child. Célina answered: "Grandpa Henk is my child", Henk being one of Jeanne's children.
Apart from these statements, she also showed remarkable behavior that seems linked to the previous life:
- In 2003, she immediately felt comfortable while staying at her aunt's place, whereas she only had been there before as a baby. Also, she immediately knew where the bathroom, kitchen, stairway and bedrooms were. Jeanne often used to visit this aunt's (Jeanne daughter's) place.
- In the same year, Célina showed a strong aversion not rooted in this life towards Jeanne's widower. She did not want to visit him, refused to kiss him, remained angry in his presence and did not want to be photographed with him. This bears a remarkable relation to the very difficult relationship between Jeanne and her husband. One day, Jeanne told her granddaughter Natascha (Célina's mother) that she would have divorced her husband if she had been brought up one generation later. Natascha did have a good relationship with her grandfather by the way.
- Other correspondences are that both Célina's and Jeanne's personality include traits like leadership, a caring attitude, creativity, and a taste for candy and soup.
