Announcing Dreams

I love these things - thanks for sharing Karoliina :)

A few years ago one of my friends had her first baby. After I had visited her and her little son I had a dream the following night. First I was sitting with my friend's baby son in my arms, but suddenly the baby transformed into a red-headed girl about 4 or 5 years old. I heard a very clear voice in my dream saying: "My name is Alma and you are going to be my mummy next time!"

I haven't had a baby yet, so I can't tell you the end to the story unfortunately, but I shared the dream with my boyfriend and although he is a super-skeptic he said, seriously, that if we had a baby girl her name should be Alma, which I thought was very nice of him. He had always liked the name, he said.

Some time later I've found out that Alma actually means 'soul' in a latin language (Spanish?), which adds a bit of mystery to my dream, I think : angel:D

Sunniva, I remember this story, and I think it's very fascinating - and I can't wait until you have babies to see if you'll have a red-haired little girl. :) Even though it's possible that was how she looked in another incarnation.

And yes, alma means soul in Spanish. ;)

I also met a child in a dream, when I was pregnant with my second child. He was a boy, like my second is, and even though we just said hello, I thought he was my son-to-be. He had a different name, and I don't think my son will look like him, either, so I think he was in his previous body in that dream.

I'm also curious to see if we would have a girl. It's actually very possible she could be a redhead since both her grandmothers are redheads and her parents are semi-redheads :D But we'll have to see.

I find it very fascinating how future children possibly can visit you, although - at one level - it makes a lot of sense.

announcing dream/vision?

hello everybody, i'm new to the forum, but i've been reading about reincarnation for the past ten years.

last november i had this weird experience i'd like to share.

a little bit of background: my husband and i have been trying to conceive for a few years and last november we tried a new fertility treatment. anyway, i went to bed at about midnight and i tried to "contact" our future baby through meditation and ask him/her wether he/she would be a boy or girl, what would he/she look like and to please come soon:laugh:

i guess i must have fallen asleep because i woke up at about 1am (later i checked) screaming in terror because someone was standing by my bed. my screaming obviously woke my husband who then told me he saw the profile or shadow of the "figure" i saw. what i saw was a boy, standing by my bed very close to me,first i thought it could be a man, that's why i got so scared, but then i realize he was too small. infact he looked like he could be 8 or 10 years old. i didn't see his face or features, but he looked like he was wearing a baseball cap.

i remember he was reaching towards me with his arms as if to stop me from screaming or to reassure me he ment no harm.

this is what it felt like when i woke up, but you know how dreams tend to fade away after. my point is, was this an announcing dream? was this my future child showing me his future looks or maybe his last life's looks?

sorry i was so long, you dont know how much you've got to say until you say it!!

thank you

Hello purple, welcome to the forum :)

Interesting experience, thanks for sharing, it certainly has all the characteristics of an announcing dream, it's a pity he startled you so much though. Now I guess all you can do is wait and see ;) Good luck with the fertility treatment and please let us know if you have any updates.

Chris

thank you

hello chris, and thank you for your reply.

I read your story and I found it really moving.

It's weird to long for a place we've never seen before, or a body that looks so different from the one we have now.

It's like missing someone we love deeply, it' s like missing ourselves.

I hope you have the chance to go back to your old home soon.

Thank you purple, I'm glad you read it

I will go back there one day, I don't know when and I don't have any immediate plans, but one day I will :)
