Hello All!
It has been quite sometime since I had a wee bit of time to come by. It is impossible to read all that I have missed! Hopefully with the new year I will be able to join in daily.
Do you mind if I tell you some more about what my DD has said? I don`t want to bore anyone with these little snipits.
Dec. 11th our cat (DH cat of 15 yrs) died unexpectantly during the night. The next day, between distraught DH, I tried to explain to DD 4yrs, what happened. I was talking about the body got tired and stopped working and the cats spirit left the body and went to be with the angels...while I was talking, looking at DD, she is nodding yes to all this, like she has heard it before. When I was finished she said, Yeah, just like me....I was caught a bit at first but uickly recovered....like you? You went out of your body up to the angels? She said uh-huh!with a big smile.
The death didn`t bother her until we had to bring the cat to be cremated...that took some explaining, but when I said there are 2 ways to deal with a body, burying or this...she nodded again.
Just the other day we were watching PBS kids. I have no idea of the show...but a child was at a school where they taught kids how to play Chess. They used life size peices, felt cut outs, many cool tactile things. My DD gets all excited and says I went to that school! I learned to play chess like that! One minute she was barely watching tv, the next she was talking a mile aminute. They were handing out trophies for chess at one point, and my DD says, the game was won by a pop-fly and we got trophies too! TOTAL switch there! But that relates to her sports memories. I have never told her the word trophy, and I doubt we discussed chess either.
Last night she was talking and said, when I lived in Asia! I said you lived in Asia? Tell me about it. But it was gone...I think the only tme she heard the name was during the Crocodile Hunter...
So maybe living in Asia is related to chess? I would have to research the origins of chess to find out.
But I know my DD is having very real memories!
I have also learned somethings about myself.
Most girls go through a love of horses. I hung around friends that owned horses. One friend told me, you ride like you have always ridden. You ride better than so-and-so and she has ridden all her life! I just knew how, I got on and that was it.
I had a ...vision? Recently, I was driving home, taking a different route than usual, and I was disgusted with all the development, wall to wall houses, hundreds of them. I thought, I would like a ranch here at the foot of the mountains, with horses...well my vision was of myself sitting on a porch and turninmg around to look at a woman coming down the hall toward me wearing a prairie shirt and boots. I had this very strong yearning in my heart to have that ranch. So very strong that I almost cried for missing it so much! I thought WOW!! I want to know more!!
Anyway I have to go... we got a new puppy, and DD can`t be left alone for long...they all get antsy when I am away from them...sigh.
I will try to come back soon!
