Any PLs with substance abuse?

Did you have any PL's with issues of substance abuse? Did it cause your death?

Offed myself in my last life with an OD, but it was intentional. I knew what I was doing.

Yes and sort of.

I believe I was an alcoholic in several lifetimes. Thats all I can come up with. In my New Orleans lifetime I drank a lot. Mostly it was killing the loneliness. I acted hard and tough but I had no family and the men would all leave after they got what they wanted. I left many as well. I was looking for companionship and the drinking would kill the pain. But I believe I stopped eventually. It didnt cause any long term damage.

I think so, in my most recent life around the 60's-70's. I don't remember anything specific, just a vague blur and a lot of loneliness and self-destruction.
