Related to the many threads on depression:
I'm sure feelings of self-loathing often have PL sources (along with present-life sources). What are they?
Deep down, I don't like being me. Objectively, I know I have not much to complain of in this life. I've had it easy compared to many people. Yet I don't like my appearance, my name, and definitely not my abrasive personality--as if my soul resents being in this incarnation.
Thus I feel at war with myself, as if my soul and my personality--both extremely strong--are of incompatible natures; as if my conscious and unconscious are constantly battling for supremacy.
Sorry for the morbid self-absorbtion--that's another aspect of my personality that I don't like
Have others had similar feelings, and is there a PL angle to them?
Thanks.
