Baby Heaven

Hi,
My nephew is 6 years old and often talks about when he was in "Baby Heaven". He says that he remembers certain things that happened while he was waiting to be born. He's been doing this since he was about two and a half. He doesn't talk about it as much as he used to. We are very close and have always spent alot of time together, I never thought much about it until I read "Children's Past Lives" after my Mom read it. We started talking about different things that Zack has said over the years. He often looks at a picture of my Grandfather (who died 4 years before he was born) and says "I really miss him". I said you do? Do you remember him? He said "Yep, from Baby Heaven, he used to come and visit me."

My Mom and I were chatting right after I finished the book and she brought something up that I had forgotten about. It really freaked my sister out at the time. My sister has dark curly shoulder length hair. She and Zack were cuddling on the couch (He was 3) and he was rubbing her hair. He said "Your hair is so beautiful Mommy. I used to have hair like this before but it was longer." My sister said "Honey, you've never had long hair and your hair is straight." He then said, "No Mom, BEFORE...remember...when I was your uncle." Our uncle, who had long curly dark hair, died in 1984 from a self inflicted gunshot wound. Something that I immediately thought of was the fact that when Zack was born the right side of the back of his head had a "flat spot" (Noticible enough to the family that my sister was worried) that eventually went away when he was a little over 1.

One other thing that sticks out in my mind...for a while when he was almost 5 he kept asking every one in the family if we remembered when we lived in caves and there were dinosaurs. I told him that dinosaurs were here a long long time ago and none of us were here then, not even Great Grandma. He was insistent. He started to get angry with me so I asked who was there. He told me that we were all there..."My Mom and Dad, you, Grama and Grampa (my parents last name). I asked about my husband and he said "Not then, he came by us later."

One other thing that I actually find funny...he saw a picture of Marilyn Monroe and told us that he "really missed her... she was soooo nice."

I guess what brought this all on was that Zack was in the car with my husband last night and we thought that he had fallen asleep. An older Bob Segar song came on the radio and he immediately said TURN THIS UP! My uncle was a huge Bob Segar fan. Zack has loved music since before he could talk but this wasn't a song that is normally heard on the radio and I can't imagine where he would have heard it before.

Sorry to be so long winded...I've been thinking about posting here for a while...I guess it all just came together this morning.

Peace,
Patti

Hi Krabipatti,

Welcome to the forum. :D

Thank you for sharing your nephew's story with us. Zack sounds like a very special little boy.

How sweet that he talks about your Grandfather visiting him in Baby Heaven. Has he ever described what it was like there?

Those are some pretty interesting validations towards indicating that perhaps your Uncle has returned to your family. Does anyone else in your family think this is a strong possibility?

Has Zack done other things reminiscent of your Uncle, or said anything else about your Uncle?

I'd recommend reading Carol's second book Return From Heaven as it deals with same family reincarnation -- and it is a wonderful read. I think your family would really enjoy the book. :D

Please keep us posted on Zack's story,

Ailish

Hi Krabipatti,

Thanks for sharing the story about Zack, you have a fascinating case there. How do you feel about the possibility that your nephew could have been your uncle? Please come back if there any more developments, there are a lot of good people here to help if you need it.

Chris :)

Welom to the form. Thanks for sharing your story about Zack Krabipatti, I really enjoyed reading it.

Hi krabipatti,

Always nice to hear from another SpongeBob fan. I have a 6 year old son and he has talked of past lives but has always spoken more of an in between life time. He starts a lot of sentences with "When I was in heaven before I was born..."

He also just recently asked me what my husband's father looked like (he passed away about 12 years ago) because an old man would come and play with him while he was still in heaven. I was pretty excited, sort of already wording the post I would write about this in my mind while looking for a picture. I found the photo and showed it to him and he just said 'Nope, not him' and ran off to play.

So I do believe they have connections with other folks and that they miss those connections when they come into this life.

I think your nephew has a lot of the earmarks of past life recall but as Carol's book mentions most kids start to forget or just stopp talking about it by 7. My son will be 7 in March and he seldom brings it up any more. And you know what? That's okay too. I think it just becomes time for them to move on to the things in this life.

I would like to suggest that you write down some of the things he has said in case he forgets and in case he remembers.

Vicky

Hello Krabipatti and welcome to the forum. Thank you for sharing your nephew's story with us. It is the memories and stories like your nephew's that I find offer so much validation to pastlifes.

Kind Regards
Kay

I am 50 years old. I have always "known" that I existed before in a place I call heaven. I always thought that it was a given in my Christian religion. I'm just glad to reaffirmed that I am not the only one.:)
