Being aware of things planned in your life

Between the ages of 2 and 5 I knew how my certain facets of my life would turn out. I believe it might be due to the fact that my life chart was fresh in my mind and I could better remember what had been planned for this life.

I knew that as I got older I was to get glasses and that I was going to have weak eye sight through out my life. Everytime they would check our eyes in school (kindergarten and up) I always knew that one of those times they would say that I needed glasses. Finally in third grade when I was 8 I remember getting my eyes tested and being told that I was going to have to get glasses. I was actually surprised that it was 8 years before I was to get glasses, I had thought it would be sooner.

I had always known ever since I was a child that if I ever thought about God, religion, etc I might get too deep into it. Not by choice but by guilt. I dont enjoy religion or thinking of God (I like studying reincarnation a lot tho) I start to feel like a sinner and that I end up giving up 90% of the things I enjoy and I feel miserable and unable to enjoy any of the pleasures of life. Thats why I try to stay away from organized religion or even certain spiritual matters apart from reincarnation b/c I know those have the power to destroy my life. Thinking about God, the Light, etc does not bring any joy to my life. In fact its just the opposite. I also know that giving up material pleasures will destroy my life like it did in the past. However when I was btw the ages of 2 - 5 I knew that I had to stay away from religion b/c I sensed it will hurt me.

I also knew btw the ages of 2-5 that I will marry late in life. Something I just knew al my life since I was a kid. I had my first bf at the age of 25. I'm 31 and still not married.

I dont know why I was born with this ability to know about what was going to happen in my life. It was never positive things either.

I didn't have any knowledge of specifics, but I did get a lot of omens and predictions through dreams and intense feelings. Through a meditation I knew my mom would die before my dad did, and I knew what the scene would look like before we even lived in the house. I knew I would become an outcast from my family, but that came in very symbolic dreams. I knew from a gut feeling that my boots would be pointed towards Maine, but the circumstances were completely unknown. And thanks to a very strange event that I still ponder it's reality to this day, I knew who my husband would be.

I have had dreams that have predicted things, so has my mother, and her grandmother. Seems to run in the family . However, there is usually such a span of time between the dream & the event (up to a year), that when the event happens, I don't even remember I had the dream about it. That is, until I go back through my dream journals....All the 'strange' dreams I had start making tons of sense. That's why I write them all down, even if they seem strange at the time.

Very interesting. I can't say that I've always known things, I have a tendency not to trust instincts. Unfortunately for me, I was born into Christianity, and eventually realized it wasn't for me. I saw too much hate in it. I followed it for about my first 20 years, and then realized, this can't be right.. why do "we" as a religion, judge and hate everyone! I have had a couple weird life experiences that make too much sense not to be completely planned out. My step father took his own life in 2005. I was so distraught. We weren't extremely close, but I felt a connection, like it was more than this life that I was grieving. Why did he do it? How could no one help? Anyway, he HAD to do it. He was the one who brought my husband and myself together, and he gave us our perfect little boy, (as without meeting, we wouldn't have him!). My husband was very close with him. He actually read the eulogy at his funeral. That was the first time I saw him. Although, we didn't really meet for another year. We weren't ready, as we were both in different relationships. We both ended up single in the Summer of 2006. Somehow he contacted me through the internet and we were both struggling with the loss. I really feel as if there was an out of this world influence to us meeting.

Dreams- I have dreamed of dying. What dying feels like. Especially dying tragically, suddenly.

My most intuitive dream ever was the day I found out I was pregnant. I dreamed of triplet boys (my cousin gave birth to them in my dream), I held one of the babies and I felt pure joy, like nothing I have ever experienced. I woke up, took a pregnancy test, and he was really with me! The dream told me I was pregnant. I should have known at that moment the baby would be a boy, but I don't trust my instincts as I said before. I wonder what the "triplet" boy sign meant? Still waiting on that answer. There is much to be said for already knowing. Like, when I was regressed and saw a couple of my past lives, the first thing I thought was... now I know, but I think I already knew... I just didn't trust what I knew until I saw it... honestly, I'm still struggling with trusting it.

I haven't so much been previously aware of planned things and events in my life, though I have been inordinately attentive to small nuances which direct me in certain ways...little hints, clues or tells which I somehow sense are different, or point in another direction, than those seemingly similar mundane impressions I get every waking moment.

I was driving with three classmates to get something to eat. As we were focused on our discussion I pulled into the parking lot of a non-descript bar none of us had ever before entered for a beer no one had mentioned wanting. We went in and took over a corner of the bar and within ten minutes, while in mid-sentence and for no ascertainable reason, I turned around to first set eyes on a woman who would change my life. This meeting was pre-planned, but what got me in position to meet her were small, almost imperceptible thoughts and ideas which pushed me in directions I would not normally have travelled...pushed, I believe, by guidance (he's standing next to my monitor with arms crossed and slowly nodding!).

Another funny series of situations was my strong attraction, from ages 15 through 28, to petite women with short or bobbed dark brunett or dark red hair. For some reason I would see a woman with that configuration and would nearly fall over my own feet to introduce myself and initiate conversation. Hilarity often ensued. From highschool through to marriage, all the women I dated had these singular characteristics in common. I posed that question to my guidance while in my akashic records and was treated to a peek into my lifeplanning session and in it everyone was doubled over in laughter...I had been programmed to recognize two longterm soulmates (the ex fiance and wife) who would appear with those distinctive features, and until I found them everyone meeting that description was a candidate...or a victim!

I have had a lot of premonitions about both important and not so important life events in the form of dreams, daydreams, hunches etc.

Like I "saw" my ex boyfriend a couple of years before we first met, Like everything about him and us was covered in just a few secs of what I could only call a daydream.

Once I had a night dream about meeting a woman in my mum's living room. I had never met her before, and didn't know she would appear. She was the sister to my mums friend. We were shaking hands at the same place as we did in my dream, everything about her appearence, clothes etc was just identical to in my dream, and my mum had rearranged the furniture which she didn't tell me about, and that also was covered in the dream. I had to run away for a while afterwards because it freaked me out lol

And so many other incidences. just the other day I stood at the library to borrow some dvd's. A woman was standing next to me alone, and she had 3 movies in her hand, one was "Marie Antoinette". Then I had like this imagined scene happening in my mind where I saw another woman, her friend, walk up to her and ask what dvd's she was holding. When she saw Marie Antoinette she told her that she shouldn't borrow that one as she didn't think it was so good, so she put it back on the shelf. I imagined interupting and say that the movie is ok.

Just a few sec later another woman which I didn't see before came up and asked what dvd's she was holding. When she saw MA movie she said it wasn't that good, and the first woman put it back on the shelf. Here the actual events deviated from my imagery because I didn't interupt, I was a little schocked. I wonder if it meant that I should have told her? lol So it is like I could deviate from the imagery if I wanted.

Well, I've never believed the future was pre-ordained. Glimpses of the future that we get are only of possible futures. For me it's one big "IF/THEN" statement:

IF she gets the movie

THEN she becomes so engrossed in it that she fails to notice the back door to her house in unlocked and someone dangerous gets in

IF she doesn't get the movie, perhaps she watches one that isn't so engrossing and THEN, during a quick hop to the kitchen she notices that the back door is unlocked. Whatever course of IF/THEN statements conspired to send the perp to her house are now diverted. (IF the door is unlocked THEN he goes in.)

Essentially, I don't think we're seeing a future, we're only seeing a crossroads coming up and are being given an opportunity to steer the car.

Now Shiftkitty, do have to agree with you here in what you said. I also do think that the future is never 'Pre-ordained'. But that on a everyday basis in so many ways are there a number of 'Possible Futures'. In how many times in our lives just one small decision can influence so much of the future part of our lives. And will say that it is not only a number of possible futures but a number of possible and probably futures. I say probable because with the path or paths we are on, there is always a number of more probable futures and a number of less probable futures but still a possible future. Yes do agee with just like you said as coming to some crossroads. Just my two cents worth.

I have lots of plans to begin with in the future. I just hope that sooner or later, I can achieve those dreams in a right time and work hard as well.
