Tinkerman,
I have a combination of “markings” on my body in the form of scars, birthmarks and what I would call “other markings”. I have a strawberry mark on the back of my neck as does my sister and both my brothers. This is a birthmark that was passed down to us by my father. Your guess is as good as mine as to if it is a symbol or not. The other markings in six places on my body (one scar from an operation the other five of unknown origin) match wounds receive by Gen. John B. Gordon during the American Civil War. I do not call these “proof”. What would be proof for one person may not be proof to another. There is a great quote about proof and the subject of reincarnation;
"We seem to have here one of those problems wherein people readily agree on what it would take to establish something they very much do not want to believe--and then when, contrary to anyone's expectations, the evidence actually emerges strongly supportive of the belief, they return (for no persuasive reason) to add more conditions to what it would take to establish what they very much do not want to accept. And they continue to do so until it is virtually impossible that any such evidence should ever emerge.''

I have one of the strongest cases of reincarnation ever presented to the American public. My story was included in the Arts & Entertainment Network documentary titled Beyond Death and the independent documentary In Another Life. Most recently I was film by a production company working for the Sci Fi Channel doing a program called Proof Positive (show starts Oct. 6th). They filmed me here in Connecticut and talked with people at the Fire Dept where I had worked at for 28 years. We then traveled to film at Antietam Battlefield where I had a strange experience many years ago (unknown to me at the time, the same place then Col John B. Gordon had been wounded five time). Also, a doctor examined the markings on my body and gave his opinion. Finally there was a lie-detector test which I passed with a 99.6. Still all this is not “proof”. I offer evidence, others will have to decide if it is proof to them.
We have though, in my case, come to the point where a reasonable person sounds unreasonable when denying the evidence placed before them.
