Birthmarks, illnesses and disease?

Elsie

Hi guys!

I know that a lot of people believe that marks, unexplained pains, illnesses and diseases could be things carried over from past lives.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me more about this, or share your own experiences?

There are two things which I strongly feel are somehow connected to a past life of mine, but I have not yet discovered it. One is a benign tumor in my brain which I've had since birth, but had surgery to remove three weeks ago. The other are pains no doctors have been able to diagnose; sharp ones in my arm and leg that feel like.. well "poison" is the best way I can describe it.

Maybe they are connected, maybe not. I just have this strong feeling that they somehow are related to a PL of mine. I wish I knew more!

So, does anyone else have experiences with this?

I once had a PL dream of my WWII life where I was carrying a machine gun up the stairs of a torn up building. There were two men in front of me, carrying another machine gun, and the guy behind me helping me. There was a sniper at the top of the stairs covering for us. The Russians were advancing rapidly, and it wasn't long before we were dodgin incoming fire. The two men in front of me were shot and killed. Not long afterwards, I was shot in my left leg.

Now, what's funny about this is the fact that the bullet hit at an angle, right where my birthmark is. I had the feeling prior that that was a leftover wound from a Russian bullet, and I have been validated.

I get occassional really bad pains in both of my knees and the doctors have never been able to find a problem with them. I also have a PL validation for this. Again, Russians >.>

I do recall getting stabbed in the right shoulder in one PL (I want to say Aztec civilization or Shogun Japan, but I'm not sure) and I do have problems with that shoulder, but I don't think it's PL related. I use that arm for everything, and I also sleep on it. I should start sleeping on my left side, but my overactive imagination prevents me from doing that

My little sister has a small mark on her cheek which looks like a stab wound and I'm starting to have a feeling her life was in the medival. As she keep screaming 'You can't be king!'.. Whuuh..?

I, myself, well I don't know where I died but the back of my neck...Every time I lie down, it will start going insanely ticklish. I can't sleep with it exposed and I have to cover it with a blanket or else I can't sleep. At all.

I can't offer any explanation Elsie, but I do have my own experience with this, or so I suspect.

In a past life, I died during my adolescence, when I fell from a horse and broke my neck - I was somewhere between 16 and 18 years of age in that life. Now in my present life, I've suffered with severe neck problems which started when I was about 16, and continue to this day. Despite numerous tests, x-rays and fruitless physiotherapy - the specialists are unable to explain the reason for my neck disorder, although the x-rays did reveal a very slight kink in the vertebrae.

I don't know if severe trauma in a past life can somehow leave an impression on the soul, which can then be transferred to subsequent lives in the form of birthmarks or physical disorder. I know Ian Stevenson did a lot of research in this field, and there's an interesting article here with follow up references.

I hope you've recovered from your surgery now hug2.gif

I believe that not every physical injury you received in a past life carries over to you in your current life, (I know how I've died in several past lives, and don't have any problems or scars as a result), but some do carry over.

For me, I have scarrs across the middle of my back that make it look like I have been badly whipped, I also have these marks on the backs of my calves. They truly are scarrs & very noticeable, I went to a massage therapist once & she talked to my mother about them because she was so concerned. I have to watch what swimsuits I wear, because I can't just say 'don't worry, I've never been beaten in this life, those scars are from a past life' to just anyone! These are definitely not from my current life. I believe them to be connected to a past life I lived as a black slave on a plantation, but I don't have any memories confirming that (probably a good thing).

What's interesting is I wasn't born with any birthmarks or these scarrs, they started becoming noticable when I was about 12 years old or so...

Oh, which reminds me.. I have a lot of scars on my hips. They all look like surgery scars.. But I never had surgery before.. But there are about 5 of them on each side.. I don't even know where they came from, all I remember was I woke up and there they were.

A year or two ago I started having a sharp pain in my back that was really starting to bother me. I stretched it regularly, had it massaged, and had it adjusted by a chiropractor. Nothing I did would make that pain go away. Then one day I was meditating and saw a scene in my mind from a past life. It was a life that I sensed was from an ancient time somewhere around the Mediterranean (Greece maybe?). I was a woman in that life and our village was being raided by enemy soldiers. I was trying to get away and one of the soldiers grabbed me. He pinned me down and tried to rape me. I spit in his eyes and hit him across the face as hard as I could. He got off me and I again tried to escape him. He instead drew his sword and stabbed me in the back with it... right where I had been having my sharp back pain.

After that memory the pain in my back was gone and it never came back.

Like Chris I also have chronic neck problems. It started in my 20's and causes me discomfort everyday. I had a past life during the French Revolution in which I was sent to the guillotine. I was hoping that having that heavy steel blade going through my neck was the cause of my neck problems today, and that remembering that scene would bring me some relief. Unfortunately that hasn't been the case. :( Evidently the problem has stemmed from something else that I haven't discovered yet. I don't know what it is. Going to the chiropractor doesn't help much.

Interesting that, Truthseeker. I've read a number of cases where simply the act of remembering a physical trauma from a past life can be enough to eradicate any related pain or illness in the present life.

I suffered with my neck annually for many years - but as soon as I had that vision during a meditation, of me falling from the horse and breaking my neck, the pain ceased and didn't return for several years. It's only last year and this year that I've begun to have problems again, but it's also possible that this time it could just be an unrelated neck strain. Maybe it's my age catching up with me!

My only birthmark is located on my stomach and when I was a child and a red-headed towhead and quite pale, it was very dark and a little larger than a US Dollar coin.

However with age and expansion, it has lightened quite a bit and grown a little larger in size to where it is somewhat indistinct.

The birthmark may be related to the two most recent Past Lives (PL’s) that I really remember well, as a young WWII RAF pilot shot and crashed/killed off of the White Cliffs of Dover, and as a young child attacked by an animal and killed.

As to which PL caused the birthmark, I don’t really know, I can only speculate at this point, perhaps regression could help me to uncover which one.

@Wuxin: It could be stretchmarks, which often appears on the hips of girls during puberty when the body shape suddenly starts growing faster than the skin. It is very common and very natural. I have them too :)

In more than one past life I died from a heart attack and in this life ever since I was a kid I occasionally get chest pains. Lately I've found out that they're probably hormonal, occurring at a certain time during my monthly cycle. However it isn't a very common pms symptom, so I wonder if it somehow relates to a weak heart in past lives?

I don't have any birthmark (my mam said I had one in a hand but now it's very difficult to see), but I do have this story in my family. My younger brother always told that he had a very vivid and recurring dream when he was very small, maybe only 3 or 4 years old, in which he saw himself like he was inside a cloud. He felt he couldn't breathe and searched desperately for a way out, but he never could. He used to wake up sweating and feeling so bad. We always thought he could have died in a gas chamber. The point is he has always suffered from asthma, especially when he was a kid. So it might be this is somehow related to a past life.

It wasn't as dramatic as a disease being cured or anything like that. I didn't realize that I was feeling better till later in the day.

Hmmm... I've had a couple gray hairs pop up. Does that mean a past life memory isn't going to make them go away? :D

The only noticable birthmark I have is one about the size if a kidney bean on my left elbow. I have no memories or feelings attached to it though.
