hi...i have a 14 month old daughter who has been doing domething very peculiar lately. she walks across the room in extreme slow mo then does one complete, very slow turn, then procedes to fall to the ground very slowly and gracefully, almost as though it was a choreographed move. the first few times she did it we all just laughed at her and payed no mind really. but now it has gotten to the point where she will come to me and say "mama, mama" and point to the middle of the room and the go to where she pointed and "fall". after seeing this several times i realized that everytime she does it, the moves are identical. exzctly the same every time. i have to admit im a little weirded out by this. my cousin used to "reinact" a similar scene when she was younger where she would jump off of the bed and fall on the floor and say..."look...this is how it happened". rememberibng this is what made me thik that there was apossibility that my daughter may be showing me something she remembers from a past life. does anyone else think this is possible? please let me know something.

Hi Lauren

Our son played a long time a curious play, when he was two. He played in the middle of the room and every now and then he went to the wall and touched it with his hand. After this he went back to continue the play in the middle of the room. We never figured out what that could be...
This continued some two months and then it just disappeared.

hello Lauren,

it's impressing. Maybe she can tell you. Show her you take it for serious (well you know yourself you should laught about her) and ask what she wants to tell you. Obviously she does want to tell something. Don't put the words in her mouth too manipulative though. Hug her strongly.

Hi Lauren

It does sound like a probable or possible past life memory (reinactment), especially the fact she is repeating it exactly the same every time and drawing your attention to it.

My first thoughts would be to start keeping a journal on all her activities and to take special notice when she starts talking properly and expressing her feelings and communicating them easier…note everything, you will be thanking your lucky stars the day when you want to compare notes or remember any other connections and have slightly forgot the details, and it may also help you gain a better understanding of it all through her eyes as you are consciously noting it all down and thinking about it yourself so it remains on the surface and you’ll probably be more perceptible to other signs.

When she next does it, maybe you could try and ask her what she’s trying to show you, but as Justin mentioned, don’t lead her thoughts and words and put suggestions in her head, or words in her mouth, simply guide her, with what is known as “clean” language. If she is excitable and wants to talk about it more or play (enact), (I’m sure at her age, it’ still quite hard to express herself in words as she’d like), then fine, but if she seems troubled, leave it and let her take the lead and decide when, where and what she wants to share.

I’m sure with time, the pieces will slowly fall together, and I hope you continue sharing with us all

thanks to everyone who has replied. i dont know how i should handle this. i talked to my aunt and asked her what she did when my cousin did things like this and she said that she listened and payed attention to my cousin, but never encouraged talking about it because it was something she was supposed to forget. im so curious though. i want to know what she trying to tell me...and more. i want to know what she experienced before she was mine...but i dont want to do anything that im not supposed to do. i also want to mention that recently she has been waking in the night, and during naps screaming crying. not like babies usually do when they wake up. its more of a frantic, terrified cry. i wonder if her memories are coming to her in dreams and it is something that is frightening her. i can task her because she doesnt really speak yet. she says a few words like mama and pup pup...but definately not sentences. she speakes to us with body language....which gets the job done for everyday things...but it definately wont work for this. could the terrified cries be related? i also want to know if anyone believes that children see things that adults dont see. my daughter also has "friends" in our house. she goes into the corners and talksd to them...not using words exactly. it sounds like shes using words, but i just cant undrestand what shes saying...more liek a murmur. i am a single mother and my dughter sleeps in the bed with me...i woke up one night and she was waving at the corner of my room and laughing. these things are hard for me to understand. i ahve to admit i never believed in anything liek this until i started experiencing it with my daughter. how should i handle this?

Hi,
to me past time memories do not appear to be an error, but a call to think about them. As I follow this forum, it seems that it is always good to take these memories for serious. We are not supposed to forget that we are spiritual beings. The same with our perception of energies. If parents don't mention this, the child will lose it's awareness too. You shouldn't force a child to give certain informations, but do show an interest.
All of this seems to be a gift, as far as I can see. Sure there will be some surprises, but there is nothing to worry about. Just feel comfortable with the spiritual world, as there is a lot of love around. Much more than in the idea of surpressing these subtle calls.

Lauren, have you considered teaching her sign language? I have many friends who teach their little ones sign language and they communicate well - and wayyyy before their babies use language.

One baby, an 16 month old, woke screaming from her sleep next to her mama. The mother, trying to comfort her daughter asked her what was wrong.

The baby stopped crying and signed, "mama, broke" sobbed a few more times and then fell back asleap.

The mom interpretted this to mean that the baby had had some sort of dream involving her mother (herself) and that it wasn't good! So while the baby didn't have language per se, she WAS able to communicate "mama, broke" which expressed the content of her bad dream!

It might help her communicate the content of her bad dreams, AND help her communicate during the day (associating language and signs with objects & actions).

Just a thought! Good luck!

Yes, absolutely children can see things that most adults can't. All of my children are able to. Even the 19 month old will look over my shoulder and say hi to people who I can't see.

There is no such thing as too many books. Too few bookcases can become a problem, however.
