When my daughter was two, she was very verbal. She could talk as good as any adult.
She started to tell me stories of George Washington as her father and she had two sisters. Now I was unknowledgeable as the time so I told her that wasn't possible, because George Washington was dead. she started to cry and say he wasnt dead, he was her father. Well Presidents day was around this time, this was before the combination of both birthdays in Feb. as it is now, an announcer of TV came across and said on a commercial Happy Birthday George! My daughter looked at me and said in a nasty vioce, you see, I told you he wasnt dead.

she also had a nightmare of a big eye that floated above her and asked her if she was George Washington. She cried and i went in to see what was the matter, and she told me the big eye blinked at her and floated in the closet. She wound up sleeping with her Dad and me that night. She is grown now and still remembers that vividly. I wish I knew then what i know now.....she had been talking about for several months before, I dont believe she ever heard of George Washington around the time she was two

I'm curious about the dream of the floating eye, as I once dreamed of a floating eye, but the eye was in the middle of something that looked kind of like a carved wooden shield. It was called the eye of enoch (in my dream) and I could see war all around. The eye floated between two columns and when I awoke, the dream was so extremely vivid.

Hi Suwbee,
I somehow missed your post. Anyway, you said your daughter remembers the eye, does she remember talking about George Washington? Have you ever found out if George had three children?
Vicky

President Washington never had biological children, though he did have two stepchildren. His stepdaughter Patsy was the younger of the two. At twelve years old, Patsy suffered an epileptic seizure and her condition continued to worsen until she died at the age of seventeen. Perhaps the "sisters" she's referring to are cousins to whom she felt as close as a sister to?

re: sisters

To be honest, i never did research on George Washington. I thought at the time, it was a peice of imagination. Now, since i have taken an interest in reincarnation, I will have to look into this. I just remember, the most adament thing was that George Washington was her father, and she had two sisters, she never mentioned a mother.

re: Eye

The way she talked about the eye, and she remembers this to this very day, and she is 27 now, was she woke up and saw the eye floating above her, and then it asked her, in her mind if she was George Washington. I didnt know then as I know now about the eye on the dollar bill and ect. and thought this was very strange.

The thing about history is that no one really knows what happened over 200 years ago. Maybe George had kids we don't know about or maybe your daughter was George himself.
WOuld your daughter consider being regressed now?
Vicky

re: regression

She probably would, we would have to find an affordable regressionist. Their rates seem a little high. she is in college, due to grad in December, and we have been helping with college, and shes full time student with a son, so things are a little tight, but hopefully in the future.

George Washington

Actually George Washington's life is very well-documented. Any encyclopedia or biography contains details about his having raised Martha's two children, a son and a daughter, by her first marriage. He was almost certainly sterile, probably from smallpox as a young man. Although Martha had had four children in all from her first marriage , two of whom died in childhood, she never had any by George. She was only 27 when she married him, so it's unlikely that their childlessness was not due to his being sterile.

At this point, things get interesting. After Martha's son, John Parke Custis, died of typhoid fever in 1780, the Washingons adopted his two younger children, a boy and a girl. John's wife had died before him, and there were two children older than the ones the Washington's adopted. I haven't been able, in a quick check, to find out the sex of the older two. So yes, it is possible that George Washington's younger adopted daughter, who was Martha's biological granddaughter, had sisters.

I have one suggestion. How old is the child who says Washington was her father ? Maybe she really means she remembers her father in 18th century clothes with a powdered wig, like the picture of Washington on the dollar bill?

Hiya cecily,

child past life

Hi all,
A few weeks ago I posted about my daughter talking of George washington, and two sisters and GW being her father. I did some research on the Grandchildren of Marthas that were adopted after John Custis died. there were four children. Three girls and one boy. Gw adopted Elleanor (Nellie) Custis, and her brother. The other two girls stayed with their mother. Elleanor was born on March, 21, 1779. My daughter was born on March, 21 1979. Coincidence?

Thank you. My daughter has similar facial characteristics, and the handwriting samples are similar. I stress I am not a handwriting expert. This is at a glance.
