Child Statistics and Past Life Memories?

I'm researching past life memories in children and I'm
wondering what the percentage of reported cases are
from children? I would imagine it's high since the veil
between young children and their past life can be quite thin? And I'd also like to know of those reported cases, how many
of those children are suffering from frequent nightmares?

I've experienced this with my daughter but her memories
didn't haunt her. She just wanted to know where her ice skates were. She was 3 years old when she first asked me. She grew agitated when I told her that she's never had ice skates and was very upset that it didn't snow at Christmas saying, "How can it be Christmas if it's not snowing" and "Now I can't skate on the lake."

If there's statistics on children and past life memories, I'd
love to know them.

I'm not aware of any statistics of the kind that you are looking for here in the forum, but don't quote me on that. I often wonder how many unreported cases there are for every reported case and that must be very high considering most parents dismiss their children's past life memories as fantasy.


Your daughter's memories sound very interesting, how old is she now, and has she remembered anything else from her past life? .... if you don't mind me asking that is : angel

Hi, Lisa, welcome to the forum! I'm curious, what kind of climate do you live in? Does it ever snow at Christmas? Have you ever taken your daughter ice skating (or roller skating) and does she show any unusual proficiency at these things?

I have read nearly every book by the late Dr. Ian Stevenson and Dr. Tucker`s book. Dr. Stevenson did a lot of research on childrens`nightmares and a lot of statistics. Some of his articles can be read online via the "Journal of Scientific Exploration" - it is for free. In addition, every volume of "Cases of reincarnation type" gives some statistical overwievs concerning the respective countries. Dr. Tucker is now working on a large database, maybe you could email him and he might give you some piece of information - or at least mention where you could find them. Good luck!
