Hi my daughter is 22 yrs old
she been looking at this site
these last few years she is bossy
she thinks she is my Mom
even writing this she telling me what to
write & to do
she correcting me and swearing
it all in a joking manner
but ever since middle school
she said she wanted to protect me
and be my friend
she was a "grown up" at a young age
she would hang with older realities,
even cousin her own age play nice with
her but make comments about her being
grown-up
she mad because I am writing run-on
sentences
but she has a different view on the past
I am free spirit carefree
where she likes displine structure life
she is materialist and love high society
where I am happy love being artist
she feel it is beneath her to clean
do other have experience relationship
similiar to this?

Sounds like "things" are maturing to me.
Nothing wrong there .
Sounds like growth and progress and who knows where that might lead?

My son says he was my husband's Dad

My husband's Dad was 52 when Mike was born. He was the youngest of 11 Children. His Dad died when Mike was 18. When our oldest son was he looked at his Dad and said "I use to be your Dad". Also his Dad's birthday was March 4th our son was born by emergency c-section March 3. Also when I first got pregnant with my son Christopher I had a very weird dream. I was with a man named Tim and we were in a funeral home but all seemed modern anyway as this other woman I told Tim I was pregnant( I had no idea I might be pregnant it wasn't even time for my period). Tim seemed very familar to me and it was a chopped dream where you have all these different things that don't belong. When I woke up I was determined to get a pregnancy test even though I wasn't late it was positive. I never saw who was in the coffin but had the sense that it was someone Tim and I loved very much and that the person in the coffin was coming back through this pregnancy.

Announcing dreams, as Dr. Ian Stevenson calls them, seem to be fairly common in cultures where reincarnation is accepted. Among the Inuit indians old people will sometimes even announce who they intend to be reborn to.

By the way, you can click on the little paper and pencil icon at the top of the post window to change or edit mistakes in a previous post.

Ok thank you! I have a question? If my son was announcing did that mean I knew him before or was I really seeing this funeral did it take place? Maybe it was just a weird dream. Also about Matthew the oldest when he was 2 he had toy telephone and my mother asked him who he was talking to he said Jack who we thought meant my little brother. He said no grandma your Dad he wants to talk to you. My grandpa died when I was 8 and he was refered to as Grandpa Kincaid but his name was Jack. His Dad and I were going through a rough time and he said this lady on the wall walked out that picture and told me to be good. He was scared he ran to my Dad. I don't know what to make of any of it and frankly he kinda scares me. He also has said things like when I was here before we had cars the roads were gold colored and I fell through the floor when I was an old man and died. He said he lived on Pike Rd in the country. He was a farmer. And he use to bring in the vegetables to eat because they were poor.

It would be nice if there were easy answers to all of our questions, but unfortunately many of the answers we seek are still shrouded in mystery.

From what I have read of well documented cases of children's recall of past lives many of them, perhaps even most of them involve people that we knew is past lives, or even at an earlier time in our present life. Some cases of announcing dreams, however, involve people we have not met before in this life, or in a previous life. There is one story (I don't recall where I read it) of an American woman who dreamed of a frail old man in India who told her he was going to be reborn as her son. Some time later she gave birth to a son, and when he got to be four years old or so he started talking about his previous life in India, and how glad he was to be living in a prosperous country now.

As for the phone, that seems to be a fairly common occurance. D.Scott Rogo and Raymond Bayless wrote a book in 1979 call "Phone Calls From the Dead" in which they reported on a large number of cases of adults and children receiving such phone calls on real phones, on broken phones that were disconnected, and even on toy phones. Cleary the soul on the other side can use a number of ways to communicate with us.

Was the funeral real of just a weird dream? It could be some of each. Often messages from the other side are found to be woven into an otherwise ordinary dream. It is questionable whether a disincarnate soul can control a living person's dream entirely, but it seems quite possible for them to slightly mold or modify an existing dream image to insert their message.

The apparition from the picture may have been some kind of spirit manisfestation. It's hard to tell. It may also have been his imagination, but judging from his reaction to it I would be more likely to believe it was a real apparition.

It sounds like he has quite a few clear fragments of memory from one or more past lives. If you haven't yet read either of Carol Bowman's books on children's past lives I would recommend them highly for their insight into how to best handle these recollections when they occur.

My own childhood almost 60 years ago was also filled with strange recollections from a previous life. My parents were strict Catholics and my mother's response was to chuckle at them and dismiss them. My father's resonse was to tell me about the Dalai Lama, who was just a young boy back then. Neither of my parents ever expressed a belief in reincarnation, but nor did they discourage my own youthful belief in it. I thank them for that.

The lady in the picture Was Mary and we are also Catholic I wasn't there when it happened. He was staying with my parents while my husband and I worked on our problems. They said he was scared to death but I have heard things like that bring peace not fear. I need to get those books and read them. Is it possible that he may have been imagining it. He still says it happened and he is almost 8 now.

Somewhere in this vast Forum, I read a suggestion for a model of how things might work. They were talking about the akashic records. This is believed to be a record of all that has ever occured. The suggestion was that perhaps one could go to a certain event in the akashic record and actually jump into the event...really be there.

Not sure about any of this, it is just a theory, and I cannot take the credit, someone else's idea. But I am given to believing that our concept of time is all wrong, it is not linear as we imagine. So, were you really at a funeral...well, maybe. Was the experience real for you, absolutley.

I was once at a meditation circle, and after wards we were each asked what we experienced. We all had similar descriptions of someone coming and joining the circle, but each had a wildly different description of the male persona. Different clothing, attitude, form, etc. But in all it was male, and had goodwill towards us.

Sometimes we experience something, and then interpret it according to our own experience. The memory beomes part interpretation, and part pure-experience. So, the experience is real, yes, it is yours to keep. Some of the finer details, well, it may be wise to keep an open mind, as you may have filled in some based on your own iterpretation of the experience. But you know what you felt, what you experienced. That is all that matters.

I think my daughter is my Mother

My daughter, Sarah is 4 years old. About 18 months ago she started to mention things that seemed a little strange to me and also my Nana. Sometimes she says "When I was big, I did this and that..." Once she said that she was my mummy. That was a little spooky but nice. One morning she woke up next to me, sat up and said "I want a cigarette". I said "Pardon me?" and she said it again. My Mum used to smoke and no one in our family does.

It is funny though how she seems to say these things and then kind of snap out of it after a bit. Especially when you ask her about stuff. I guess it is just meant to be a spontaneous thing.

The best thing about it is that Sarah and my Nan have a special bond and I think this confirms for me that my daughter could very well be my mum who passed on.

Wow! When I was little I use to say "when I was your age....."

My mom doesnt remember what I said after that but I wish she had. Write down what you baby says so in years to come she can see it for herself! Please keep us updated on what she says.

Amanda

I can relate to what you are saying. I have often wondered if my daughter is my father. (boy, does that look strange in print.) My father was in a coma when my daughter was born in the same hospital. He died 2 weeks later. My daughter has my father's same temperament (even though I was adopted). They also like some of the same things. It is an interesting thing to wonder about. I've got so many questions when I get on the other side, it's not funny.
Keep us posted on what she says!
Bye,
Pam

My grandmother told me, many years ago, that my handwriting was identical to my grandfather's handwriting. Don't know what that might mean, but it's interesting how traits seem to get passed down the generations in ways that can't be explained by mere genetics.

Yes it is interesting how these things just pop out of the mouths of babes! Sarah has also mentioned to me in the past how when she was little she was in the water and her daddy rescued her. This never happened, so I wonder if it was a past life memory or just her imagination. Either way I love to hear these little stories.

Is my daughter my father?

On August 17, 1995 my dad died of cancer. We layed him to rest on August 22, 1995. Now for the good stuff. In September of 1997 I met my now wife. She had gotten pregnant so we decided to get married. Well we had not yet established a date yet but in late June of 1998 she had a mis-carriage. We still decided to get married and a date popped in my head and it was set. The date I chose, which was later brought to my attention by my sister about the signifagance, was August 22, 1998. My wife ended up getting pregnant again a couple of months later. When the doctor told us the expected due date, my heart started racing and I was overwelmed with a feeling of knowing that everything was going to be ok with this baby. I also knew that the baby would be born 3 days late. The date the doctor gave was August 14, 1999. My prediction was also correct. She was born at 4:38 pm on August 17, 1999. For those that can't see the significance in the dates I will explain briefly. My wife and I married 3 years to the day that I buried my dad. My daughter was born 4 years to the day he died. If that was not strange enough, Last year I realized 2 strange things. The first was that the last 5 digits of my cell phone number is xx8-1799, and the second is the last 5 digits of my Social Security number, which I have had the same number for nearly 30 years, is xxx-x8-9917. Both of these occurences which contain my daughters birthday, just boggles me. And also lately for the past 6 months or so, my daughter keeps asking us about things in her past. For example most of the time she asks us about toy's that she supposedly had when she was a baby, but me and my wife just look at each other and question what she is talking about. She has never had any kinds of the toys that she describes. We try and question her about exactly what it looks like and the color and stuff like that. But then she changes the subject. Well that is my story and I hope you all enjoy it for what it is worth. Any insight would be great.

Welcome

HI SScamaroman

Thank you for sharing your story of coincidences. I mean what are the odds? Have you ever asked her to draw a picture of the toys she is describing? She is five years old now-right? Five year olds can draw fairly well -perhaps -instead of trying to explain to you what it looks like - have her draw a picture. ;)

Hope that helps.

My son is my father reincarnated

My son is my father reincarnated, I'm sure of it. Right after he died he came to my 3 year old daughter and told her in a dream that he would be back soon to play with her. It was right after that that I became pregnant. He has confirmed for me numerous times who he was in his past life and I don't doubt it one bit.

I also know, and have known since I was a child, that I was my fathers sister. So, I think that you can choose to stay within the same group.

More details?

Hi Rhea,

Could you give us more details about your son and also about yourself. It sounds interesting.

Titus

Thanks for asking. My father was very "intuitive". When he was dying he had told me that he would be reincarnated as my son and that he would be a very difficult child and make my life very hard for a while. Anyway, right after he died he came to my daughter in, I guess, a dream. He told her that he would be back to see her soon and would play with her in the treehouse (we didn't have a tree house). Treehouses are significant to me because when I was a child he always said that he would like to build me one. Right after this dream I found out that I was pregnant. My son was born just 4 days after the 1st anniversary of my fathers death. He was born with a hole in his heart, my father died of a heart attack. There are too many incidences to describe but I'll go into a few. My son calls me by the same nickname as my father did (no one else have ever called me by that and he has never heard it from anyone) he also calls my mother by the nickname my father gave to her (its not flattering). My son and mother have a horrible relationship, and frankly they just don't like one another. Just like my parents. He has the same exact pet peaves as my father and his reactions are exactly the same. It is constant. Just the other day he scolded me for saying the word "yeah" just as my father used to do. As for him making my life difficult, well, my son is ADHD and at times can be quite tempermental. It has been a struggle but things are getting better, just as my father said they would at around age 10. He's 9 now. My father had a very difficult life and I guess my biggest fear is that he didn't wait long enough to reincarnate and has brought some of that past life with him on this trip.

As for me, I'm pretty sure that I was my fathers sister. That was also something that my father confirmed for me a few years before he died. When I was a child I would have flash back of her life. I guess genetics could explain why I look exactly like her but even my grandmother on her death bed would call me by my aunts name. I really think that its not really good to remember our past lives. We should let them go. I know that if my suspicions are correct, I really want to forget who I may have been. She was not a good person, actually she was pretty darn bad. Honestly I hope I am wrong and I wasn't her. I really don't dwell on it other then to hope that I learned a good lesson from the last life and that it has made me a better person for this go round.

Oh yeah, as for the treehouse. Seven years ago we bought a piece of property on which we built our home. It was densely wooded. Once we started clearing the lot we found a treehouse on our property that had been built by one of the old neighbors. My kids play in it still today. Coninsidence?

Hi Rhea welcome!

I wanted to split your thread so that your posts would get proper attention as you have brought us an interesting story. Thanks for sharing! Isn't it a special thing when you get to be with your family members again?

:)

My son could be my father

Hi

I am new to all of this! I went to a well known Brisbane Psychic and was told that my deceased father was here with me as my guide and that he was excited about some news he wanted to share with me.

My father died of lung cancer in March 2001 after suffering from the disease for two years. My father was afraid of dying and held off death for some time, people with this type of lung cancer die very quickly. He loved life and didn't want to leave us, he died peacefully in a pallative care hospital ( gods waiting room in other words), sadly alone as we had left 30mins earlier.

He , through this psychic was telling me that he is coming back as my second child, this was before I was even trying for a second child! The psychic said that I would fall pregnant within a month or two, and I DID! She also said that it was going to freak me out at some stage as my son would look and behave similar to that of my father and that friends and relatives will notice this also.

I gave birth to my second child (a boy), Thomas in June this year. He has the same deep blue eyes my father had and looks like he is going to be tall like him also. As he is only 7 weeks old, it is difficult to see "the signs" as yet. I am excited and a bit scared!

Has anyone else been told that they were going to give birth to their own parents, family members by a psychic?

Hi and Welcome!

Intreresting how events happen isn't it?

If you read around you will find different opinions of psychics and such. I think some people have that special gift of sight, and can help others. But I don't think that it's foolproof either.

Only time will be able to tell you if the person who said what they said will be true. Remember, people's eye color can change from lifetime to lifetime, as well as their sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc...

How do you feel inside about your son, the psychic's words put aside? Do you feel a recognition there? ;)

i think my cousin is my dad!

my dad died in december of 1998 suddenly and tragically.

my uncle (dads brother) and my aunt had been trying to have a baby for years and years before. after my dad died, they just got news that my aunt was pregnant with a baby boy. the baby was born (very surprisingly, he looked exactly like my dad when he was a baby...). anyways, the baby always looked at pictures of my dad and smiled and giggled, which kind of threw all of us off since the baby was born a year after he died.

a few years later, my aunt and uncle tried to have another baby and had a miscarriage. with grief my aunt went to the doctor and the doctor told her she had a deformed uterus and it wasnt possible to have children. this came as a shock since baby mick was born with no defects or anything!

all of us in our family believe my dad was reincarnated to baby mick or something along those lines. it still puzzles us to this day that whenever he sees pictures of my dad, he smiles and giggles at them. i cant wait to see what hell look like when hes grown up!!

thats surprisingly too, because he answers 'T' which was my dads nickname (his name was terry) but everyone called him 'T'. mick couldnt of possibly known about this!

Congrats on your son! He may well be your father. When he starts talking, soak everything he says. He may call you by your first name, who knows? Maybe he will tell you that news, too.

I agree

Write down what he says and does that seems past-lifey! (How special!) I'd love to get my dad back that way!:)

My son could be my father

Well... My experience is this. I was living my former life and I met a very attractive girl. She and I got along really pretty well. We even flirted and teased each other. And one time in that life, when I was about to have some drinks I felt the very strong feeling I was to be reborn having this attractive young girl as my mother. Well, I had to wait... my father had to be born first and this beautiful young lady had to be my grandmother. thankx. ;)
