Children who see Inner Light

When I was in the 7th grade I started to see glittering silver light's that would only last for a few seconds at a time. It wasn't anything big, it just kind of looked like someone threw some glitter in front of my eyes...and the glitter was falling to the floor. I never experienced any migraines with the light...it would just come and go...even now I still experience it off and on, maybe once a month or less. I went to get my eyes checked a few years back, and they are perfectly fine. I don't know if that is the same thing that you are talking about...
 
Balls of Light

Hi Deborah,

My Grandson Jesse has been seeing the balls of light sometime in the daytime, and then he says they get bigger and bigger, then they turn into his brothers Rocky & Tommy. He talks to them a lot, even though he never knew them in life. But before he was born, he must have known them in spirit. Who knows I can only guess about these things. I do think that the balls of light are our loved ones, who have crossed over. Because when I saw the two balls of light dancing in front of me, it was right after my two grandsons, Rocky and Tommy had been killed in that car accident. I got so scared I started to scream. But then I heard them talking to me in my mind. They said don't be affraid Grandma, it is only us. But we won't do it again. And they never did. But Jesse, only five years old just takes this as a matter of fact. He is not at all afraid. Well, I will keep you posted. Lorie

Actually, your experience and Jesse's experiences validate each other. What a gift - for both of you! As you and I discussed in PM - it seems Jesse is seeing -aspects/reflections of his own soul/spirit. I must ask - were your visions of Balls of Light and Rocky & Tommy before Jesse's birth - or after? If after - how long after? I will look up references here for you too -but right now I am sick in bed. :(
 
Balls of light

Hi Deborah, My experiance happened not long after Rocky & Tommy's death. It only happened once. Maybe because I did get so frightened. But Jesse has been seeing his brother's in spirit since he could talk, I'm sure he saw them before he could talk, because he was always looking into space and laughing or cooing. Now that he is older, it seems to be more often. Hope you feel better, it seems everyone has been sick with something, it went through my family too. Lorie
 
I saw a light twice few days ago. I was washing my face and I saw some light but it's not a bulb light or anything. I turned it off so I know it's not that. Is it connected with my brother-in-law's sister's death? She died few days before that incident.

Hi there, I do believe it could be, your sister in Law, but there is no way of knowing for sure. Unless you hear something in your mine that could be from her. It is easy to just pick up on your thought, she may be sending you this message, and that's why you think it is from her. Lorie
 
lights

I am 14 and I have been seeing 'lights' all my life. I can see them when I close my eyes, when I'm in the dark and even with my eyes open in daylight.:confused: I dont think its anything to do with dead relatives........but then i dont know?????

I would be VERY interested in reading about your child's experiences. I would also be interested to hear if your child not only sees Light -but also has had Past Life Experiences.
 
Hi Deborah ~

I am working on validation of a past life of my daughter. It blew me away when I asked if she had any relatives who lived nearby in that life. She said, "Just my Uncle Charlie. He was a fireman. He wasn't really my uncle, though. He was a good family friend. To get to his house I had to go over and down a bit. I was amazed to find listed in the Census for that year a fireman named Charles who lived .... well, I'm sure you already guessed where he lived ;)

I'll post more when I can finally get to the local library to learn more.

It really is interesting that you posted on this thread, Deborah, as I just thought about the story in the last thread I posted.

I have a crisis I must first work through, and then I plan on devoting some time to researching the past life. Funny thing, I need to research a deed to find out the name - and that information should be on the deed to my home, I just need to dig it out, then go to the library for more information.

I know once I pull out that deed I will be drawn into researching the past life, and I will not do what I need to fix my crisis, so for now the deed sits. I think I will pull it out as part of the celebration of fixing the crisis, if indeed that happens.

Luckily, with the information she has given me it will be quite easy to trace the family, as they would have been quite prominent and owned a very important business here. One that shaped the life of this town. It will be easy to prove - or disprove.

Please send positive energy and good thoughts my way so I can fix the bad here, then work on the good.

In response to the original question...

I did when I was younger. I don't remember -- I was under the age of three, but my parents tell stories. I would see colored lights flying around. I also claimed to see faeries, though if those were different or the same as the lights, I can't be sure. I also saw ghosts on at least two occasions -- once in my own home in a very bizarre incident, and once in a hotel in my home state that's been standing since colonial times and is known to be haunted. I also saw auras when I was younger, then lost the ability for many years. About four years ago, it started coming back to me. I don't see them all the time now, but if I focus my mind correction, particularly on days the veils between worlds are thin, I can see the colours. I always sense and feel them, which is why I'm claustrophobic in crowds -- too much sensory input on a level I can't control very well. I think something I saw must have scared me very much around the age of three, because I know it wasn't parental repression that would've driven me to stop seeing things, as my parents were baffled but fascinated by my abilities. I think something must have frightened me and I must have thrown up defensive measures. I've spent a lot of time the past few years trying to break them back down, and I've made considerable progress -- some of which led to things like realising I had past lives -- but my sixth sense still isn't anywhere near the sensitivity it apparently was when I was young.

If it makes any sort of difference, my sister who is six years younger than me never gave any indication of seeing anything supernatural.
 
Interesting comments, Cassandra - what work have you done to regain your psychic abilities? And what did you mean by days when the veil between worlds seem thin? Is this something you can sense or "see"?

Just asking, as I was only slightly intuitive as a kid, though I now know I probably got more information from dreams than I realized at the time. However, in the last several years I seem to be getting more intuitive as I go - I feel like I'm making up for lost time.

Mostly meditative stuff, focusing my mind so it's in the right frame to be open to more things. For the first couple years, it was a lot of breaking down societal preconceptions about what was possible and what wasn't, and a lot of telling myself I wasn't crazy. That might sound simple, but anyone who's been through it can verify that it can be rough, particularly if other people persist in telling you you're unhinged.

As for the veils being thin -- it's generally something I sense. Days of high energy are days when this happens. In my faith, the eight Sabbats are good examples of such days, particularly equinoxes and solstices. Full moons are also good, but there will be just spontaneous other times I'll feel more in tune with the spiritual level of things and less with the mundane physical -- often during and just before and after thunderstorms, or particularly clear nights. Sometimes it just sort of happens, and that's always a treat. :)
 
aura colours

Hello Deborah,

I am 13 and I see light in the third eye region. I don't think that i have ever seen any white light but I usually see aura colours. For the past couple of days I have been seeing a lot of green and a little bit of purple. When I am in the room alone (like I am now) when I close my eyes I don't really see alot of light when I close my eyes. It seems that I usually see light when I am around people and animals. I don't just see green and purple i see pretty much every colour of aura's. After reading your question a couple days ago when I got off of the computer I asked my mom. She just closed her eyes for a second and when she closed her eyes she said she saw a white light around the third eye region.

Well I thought I would just let you know what i see.
 
Okay... About the light... This is how I explain it... when we are young... we are still very close to the womb of our spiritual form. Which is why everything is so fresh to us as children... You see/know alot more as a younger version of yourself... due to our innocence of being young.
 
I thought I would go ahead and post this even though Cameron (my 19 month old) hasn't told of seeing "the" light but this is something that happened when he saw "a" light...If that makes sense, lol. I have posted before about Cameron talking to and about my deceased brother Zach (speaking his name when he shouldn't even know it, etc). Well one morning, I brought him out to the living room and there were some streaks of sunlight on the wall behind where were sitting. All the sudden he got so excited, smiling, and started shouting "Zach! Zach!" It was so cool! I don't know if he was seeing Zach in those lights or if the lights just reminded him of Zach? Maybe when he does see Zach Zach is surrounded by light? I don't know, not much you can ask an 19 month old, either, I so can't wait til he's a bit older!
 
I've already spoken with Deborah about my Light experiences as a small child, but I thought I'd share a little bit about it here -- in the hopes that more of you will share -- if you or your children have or had experiences in childhood.

I distinctly recall seeing the Light more outside of myself when I was two years old. The feeling -- and vibration came from within, but it was viewed more outside. I would go into the dark closet to see it. I was never afraid of the darkness ---rather I preferred my room to be pitch black, doors closed, blinds drawn. I still do. ;)

When I was small the Light was opalescent. The best description I can give to explain it is comparing it to the inside of a seashell. The colors were very pale pastels...pinks, blues and yellows. They moved in calming patterns, similar to the waves on the ocean, gently swirling and combining. There were different sized balls of Light that would surround me when I was in bed at night...they were mainly white and moved quite erratically, like little fireflies.

As I grew, the colors became more vivid, more defined in movement and pattern. It encompassed a larger array of colors. The Light began to take on more geometric shapes. Often it would form complex patterns of interwoven colors. By this point I was around four or five years old and the Light, warmth and vibration were definitely coming from within.

Ok, so I know this is a very old thread but Deborah directed me here and I haven't made it all the way through the thread only because I have to get back to work but just from reading the 1st 4, I do have something to state.

2 things hit home. #1... Anyone ever seen flecks of green light? I saw them all the time as a child. Green lights that would fly through the air. Anthony sees them too. I found this coincedence sort of odd but didn't really give it much thought until I started reading this thread. I'm interested in what the rest of the thread says so I'll surely be back to finish it.

#2. Deborah mentioned that she had remembered her son seeing balls of light as a child and then suddenly her son see's them again. Strange coincedince but must mention it. Just this morning I sat outside the office smoking a cigarrette and I was mindlessly thinking as i often do. Scenarios in my past (present life) suddenly just started flowing (even ones that presently have left my memory again as I type) and they were physical manifestations of each fear I have held within myself. Whether or not I truly thought I feared it, deep inside I did and the fear became a reality that took place in my life. so upon further thought, It hit me. Our thoughts can project and speak just as clearly as our physical speaking words. Which was the whole theory behind the story of Alice N Wonderland. Our thoughts being that of the jaborwakki, the talking rabbit, ect now pulled into modern day scenarios.

I think our thoughts can manifest, they can project from person to person whether it be a fear, a dream, a memory or just a mindless thought. Thought is matter. Our thoughts are real so they simply cannot dissapear into thin air, they manifest somewhere and indeed they may stick close to the person who thought it.

I'll be back later cause I must finish reading about the lights everyone speaks of in this thread.

Great threads never die, they just rest for a while. I just sent a link to this thread to a friend who mentioned a year ago that he was seeing light orbs nearly every day. At the time he was under a good deal of stress, and had some tough decisions to make. He seemed to think that while some of the light orbs, which I believe were is every color, were reflective of his stress, that some were outside influences.

And while this isn't exactly the same thing, I'm able to project/visualize blue orbs when I'm under stress, which always has a calming influence. I'm sure this is related to the blue light I see when I go into deep mediation. While the shade and intensity of the blue light can change, blue is the only color I ever see. I've always felt this was my inner light, and I have been able to see it ever since an NDE-like episode 33 years ago. I don't recall seeing light at a young age.

I've seen Light since I was a toddler -- and I've only discussed it with a few close friends. ;) I've seen it in rays -- fluid in motion -- in "twinkling stars", geometrical patterns and shapes -- and many different colors. As I grew and changed -- so did the way I perceived the Light.

For me -- Light is -- the doorway to my pl memories. It is also -- a huge source of comfort -- and joy.

I saw all of what you saw but not in multiple colors. Only Green. Sometimes white but very rarely. I'm just beside myself that this phenomenon is actually being discussed. I honestly gave no real thought to it. I did as a child though, I remember telling my parents about it all the time and they'd roll their eyes at me thinking I was telling them little lies. Funny thing is that when Anthony told me about the green lights, I just laughed and said, "yeah, I used to see them all the time too." and then went about my business. Why oh Why don't I ask questions? lol. I'm going to talk to him tonight.

Ailish, why do you think the light is a way to your PL's? Do you have memories shortly after seeing the lights? What is it that makes you think that?

Thats something to contemplate. Stress being reflected in light orbs.. Hmmmmm. That still leaves the question though as to why your friend see's the orbs. Not everyone sees these lights. I wonder if someone could come up with an example of light being seen when stress was nowhere present...... They very well could be stress balls...excuse the cliche. :tongue: (In all seriousness though, that is definently an idea and a good one at that) Since thoughts can manifest themselves, so can stress, and those of us who are sensitive may easily be able to see it. I can't give a knowledgable opinion on this because I haven't finished reading the thread but this definently gave me something to contemplate when I do! :D

Is it possible that the blue lights you see are actually part of your Ora?? Especially since you see them when you are stressed which means the blue lights are directly linking to you....

When I meditate -- I go into the Light. When we merge with Light, we reach a different level of conscious awareness -- we bring all aspects of our selves -- past and present together. Therefore -- it is the ultimate in doorways. ;)

I have quite a few memories from several different lives -- some of which I am in the process of documenting and validating -- and some which have been validated by the journal my Grandma kept from when I was small. I've been aware of these other lives -- since I was a child -- and I've also seen Light since I was a child. For me -- there is a definite connection between Light and Past Lives. ;)

Wow interesting topic!
I always wondered about this and wondered if there were others out there who had stories to tell.

I have had three lights to my right with me on and off through out my life. One bigger than the others and they float around, on walls or in the air always to my right. Often when I meditate they appear but they never let me look straight at them, they move if I try to face them. I had wondered if something was wrong with my eyes but the coincedence of the times they appear is far too real. I feel they're spirit guides most of the time, but on occassion I feel another presence of a passed loved one.

I have gone into the light too in lucid dreams, there's no sense of space just light everywhere, very surreal and hard to explain, like I feel there's walls but can't see any, it's just all light and I can visit passed family members but they never let me beyond the entry way. They come out of somewhere and meet me in the light space. Very white & I know it's real

I find it so fascinating to hear other people's stories.

I just remembered that my friend was working on learning better meditation techniques, if I recall. He has joined, and created a post, but said that it was over three times longer than our maximum post limit. I've suggested that he split it between multiple posts, which I hope he'll do, since he had some really interesting experiences to share.

As for the blue lights I see, I have no doubt that it is my inner light, since it's what I see when I meditate. Maybe it's my soul/spirit's way of communicating with me on some deeper level. As far as I can remember, my early childhood seems to fit almost perfectly with the list of traits for what are known as Indigo children. Since I was born in 1946, that term of course wasn't used, but I wouldn't be surprised if such children haven't been with us all along.

I have no doubt that there are endless ways that our soul/spirit communicates with us. For unknown reasons, we all seem to be able to access information and memories in different ways. This might be due to us all being at different levels of progress on your spiritual journey. Many time I sense that I'm fairly advanced, but other times I feel like a novice. It could simply be that my lessons aren't as balanced and complete as they need to be.

And of course these 3 statements pretty much got elaborated on by each person commenting. To me, I would think that there are more than 1 reason for seeing lights. Each light represents something different. Small balls of light may be energy, may be reminesent (msp?) of different levels in our creation. Large balls of light may be that of spirits, why they come as light I don't know. I think this may directly link to the green balls of light my son and I see or I used to see. Spirits or maybe actually angels, something of that sort. I don't know. Then when it comes to the statement that Deborah made; I can only pull that this would seem to be correct as well especially since it would mean that the individual able to pick up on the lights has a special connection with "the other side". This is also hit home seeing as some of Anthony's (my oldest's son's) most recent dreams indicated a new spiritual awakening or something great about to happen with him. I can't remember the dream specifics at this time. He then mentions the green lights about 2-3 wks after his dreams. Of course, I haven't asked him how long he's been seeing the lights.

It's still interesting enough that this is actually something other people experience. I still can't get over it. I wish I knew what it meant.

In my mind - it means you are blessed with a child - who may be your teacher. Children make the the best teachers - and I know I have learned from my own.

There are many different types of Light experiences Crissy - but the type your son describes comes from within. I hope you are recording his experiences and reading all you can to help him understand it..........which in turn will also help you. Life is truly a Blessing. :)

I personally have light and aura experiences, but as an adult, not a child. Unfortuantely, my kids haven't ever made comments about seeing lights or auras.

I think this is a very intresting thread, though! :thumbsup:
