Chosen by future child?

Hello everyone :o

I'm not sure if this post belongs in this section, hopefully this is okay. About 2 weeks ago I had a strange dream that felt extremely vivid and I wanted to share.

My husband and I have been together for 9 years and married for 5. We are 28 and 29 years old. We decided very early on in our relationship that we were not going to have children at all. Once we settled into married life though, we both changed our minds, but decided to wait until our 30's due to our careers and other financial reasons. We are both okay with this decision and believe that this is the smartest way for us to go about it.

About 2 weeks ago I had a dream, I was holding a beautiful baby. I knew I was going to adopt the baby, she was about 3 months old. I was so happy to take her home and just loved holding her. It was the most wonderful feeling I have ever experienced.

All of a sudden she grew instantly and she was about 5 years old. She said "You see? I can come as someone else's baby. Then, I will find you." She then repeated again, like trying to convince me "I will find you."

In the dream I felt so much love for this little girl. I can't explain it. I told her "No, I want to have you. Just give me some time."

She replied "OK"

Then she disappeared into me. Not into my belly but kind of like into my heart, or bellow my heart. She left some pink looking smoke behind, which I thought was cute and funny.

I'm not sure if this dream means anything....but somehow it just felt different. I woke up extremely happy. :D

When I told my husband he looked surprised. He then said that a couple of days before that, he had a dream that we had a daughter and she was in the living room watching cartoons. She was about 3 years old in his dream. In his dream she was trying to dance like the cartoon characters but was getting frustrated because she couldn't. He then tried to teach her the steps to the dance. He said he thought it was a weird dream, but didn't really think that much of it and kinda forgot about it until I brought up mine.

Could this mean that a soul chosen us a parents? I've heard that some people have had similar experiences. We had not discussed babies in about a year and a half. It's not something that we really were thinking about at all.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Wow. Both of you had dreams about her. I think she has already made up her mind. She is coming to you one way or another. I think you should start keeping a journal of these dreams starting with these two. It will be interesting to see if you have any past life dreams about her or if she talks about past life memories someday. Keep us informed. BTW, this is called an "Announcement Dream". More common than you think.

Thanks so much for your reply argonne1918.

Yes it did seem like she is really determined! Her sense of urgency scared me a little. Of course seeing her made me want to have her here with me in real life...at the same time though, I'm struggling because I know that realistically it wouldn't be the best decision for us now. I'm just really curious. Does she know something that I don't?

Thanks for the advise, I will definitely be keeping a journal.

I had no idea that there was even a term for it. I'm going to google "Announcement Dream" and look up more info.

Thanks again :)

Hi Amarilys123

The following is what I believe. I certainly not saying I'm right but it may be of some interest to you.

Because of what has happened to me and what I believe I have learned and it is my belief that the next physical mother can be chosen for what I call my pure self others call it their spirit. During my mediations my pure self has told me my next physical mother has been chosen. It's interesting that there has never been any reference of a physical father. I'm seventy years old so depending on the age of who may have been chosen my physical death is either imminent or not far away.

It is my belief that if future physical mothers are chosen in advance it is for very special reasons

This pure self may be occupying a physical body that is still living in the physical world, waiting for the right time for the physical body to die or the right to for you to reincarnate

It is my belief it is very possible your spirit or pure self could have been contacted by the other pure self and that is what you were experiencing. It's interesting to me that she told you she would wait, that's very very interesting to me

If she is prepared to wait for you, you must have something very special to offer her most likely within the genes of your physical body where you will grow a physical body for her to occupy. She may be a very special person

As I said I'm not saying I'm right but this is what I believe. It may be of some interest to you

Regards

John Tat

Let me be the first to congratulate you.The fact you and your husband had the dream means more then likely will happen.I occasionally have dreams of the future.(when I say the future I mean of this life)Have not had any dreams so far of after this life yet.Did she give you a name she wants to be called?

Thank you for your replies :-)

John Tat, that sounds very intereseting. I never thought of the possibility of a spirit choosing the next mother while still occupying a physical body. It's really amazing. Thank you for sharing your experience.

jonathan21, She did not say anything about a name, but my husband and chose our children's names a long time ago. A girl would be Lilith, a boy would be Michael.

I also used to have dreams of the future when I was younger. It only happened a couple of times, and with things that weren't really important.

This dream has made me so curious about where my life is heading.

Will definetly keep you guys posted!

sounds like you will have a child one way or another,

only choice you have is if you want to be the mother,

and you already asked her to wait for you, (as far as I see it)

either tell her now to go the other way, or don't disappoint her with you being her mom

Hi Amarilys123

Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing your dream.

It's not unusual for people to have 'announcement' dreams - that is they will have dreams which, like yours, seem more vivid and memorable from normal dreams and pack a strong emotional punch. A child will often 'announce' its arrival this way.

Did the little girl in the dream seem at all familiar to you? Did she have the 'vibe' of someone you already know or have known? I'm just curious. People tend to like to 'hang out' with their soul groups if they can, so it seems. So she might be trying to get back to you in some way. The only question being not if, but when exactly it would seem.

I've had a dream that's somewhat similar, though I've never wanted to have children biologically (terrified of childbirth lol) I've been leaning towards adoption for the past year or so. I'm 21, so now isn't the time to have a child of any age, but I had a dream last year, not long after my regression, about having a baby boy in my arms.

I have the strongest feeling that this boy will be my son from a previous life, who I didn't get to see fully age due to dying when he was very young. :) It's a strange but wonderful feeling knowing that somebody is waiting for you to be their parent~

I have been getting this feeling lots lately,

it is an odd feeling,

but I have no mate in life at the moment,

I keep wondering it it knows something that I don't know.

Tanguerra,

She didn't really seem familiar to me, or like someone that I've met before. I was just filled with so much love for her. :-)

I do believe that my family always incarnates together. I've had dreams of past lives (about 3 of them) and a lot of my family members are in them. In the dreams they are who they were on that lifetime...but I recognize them as who they are now. I believe most likely she is in our soul group.

It's such a wonderful feeling :-) Can't wait to see what happens.

This is an old thread, but I would like to bump it anyway :D

I have two kids, girls. My husband and I had pretty much decided we were done having children. About a month or so ago, my husband and I started talking about maybe having another one. I was fearful because I have a condition that I need medication for, and I'd have to go off my meds in order to get pregnant. One night, as I was falling asleep, I heard, clearly, a little child's voice saying "Mooom! Moooom!" It startled me awake. On that very night and into the next week or so, I started having dreams (this may be TMI) really sensual dreams about making love to my husband and telling him "Let's have a baby!" I think it was the kid putting those dreams in my head. LMAO I got the most distinct feeling it wants be born.

I chickened out and decided I don't want to continue trying for a baby (sorry to that kid), however I may be pregnant right now. So, we'll see in a few days if it decided to make itself at home in there.

In high school, I had a dream of myself as an older mother, and I was helping my child to walk. He had braces on his legs and apparently had some condition like cerebral palsy. I have no idea if that was a premonition, but it did feel like one. I still remember the dream clearly.

Fun stuff to think about :)

ETA. Several months ago I actually did get pregnant, on accident, despite TWO FORMS of birth control. The pregnancy only lasted a couple of weeks. It is probably that kid trying to get through.... :D

Yes, I think that baby wants to be born to you. And yes, it's probably someone who was close to you in a previous life. Two books you should read are "Return From Heaven" by Carol Bowman. It's about same family reincarnation, which seems to be very common. The other book is "Soul Survivor" by Andrea and James Leninger. When James was very young he told his parents he first started "hanging around" them when they were eating dinner outside the "Pink Hotel" in Hawaii. They realized he was talking about their honeymoon, more than a year before he was born. They had never mentioned this to their son. You can find both books in the book section here.

It seems I am not pregnant after all, and for various reasons (my health being the main one), I don't want to try again anytime soon. But now I feel bad, like this baby is trying so hard to come down through me, and I'm not letting him. I'm really upset about this and I don't know what to do.

I'll bump this thread and add a couple of things to it. My granddaughter had an announcement dream with her second child, and just the other day, a friend told me that her daughter had one with her daughter's birth. Interesting phenomena!

Interesting thread. This is a very common occurrence that most people just dismiss as imagination or dreams. There is very little research into this field, but if anyone is interested it is known as pre-birth communication. There is a website on the net where one author, Elisabeth Hallett has written several books. Her website is also informative and fascinating.

Thank you or sharing Landsend, I hope that this daughter is easier than your middle-child. Oh, and thanks for the mention of Elisabeth Hallett, I will check that out.

Becoming content enough with yourself and what you have in your life to let go of the need to control things is often difficult it seems. I am very familiar with both people that have achieved that as well as those that can not even imagine doing it. From what I see, it does not interfere with them being "happy", but I think it does have something to do with their stress-level.

Yeah, this is more common than you may know,
My mother had a similar dream about my sister,

From what I’ve read on this subject it appears that the child is shown a range of potential parents to choose from,
Both parents and child meet, and it has to be a mutual agreement of everyone involved for things to move forward,

Both child and parents choose each other, before birth,

something is fishy or odd about this dream, it gives me a bad feeling.

it may be wonderful for the op of this thread but until you know the intention and full reason why the little girl wants to be with op I would be careful.

you should not be so fast to accept this, you need to investigate.

No, nothing fishy, it’s very common,
So is the fact that parents and child have an agreement of what to expect from each other,
Like a life plan,

Do your home work,
Many parents have these dreams, and often just dismiss them as just dreams and forget they had them,

So wonderful to read this thread, it warms my heart and with others sharing their stories as well. I have always said that the best thing that has ever happened to me was the biggest surprise of my life - and that was when I became pregnant (again). I had a dream before where I was in a hospital room on my back and they were doing an X-ray and I told them they did not need to because I was not pregnant, then there was this voice, like a child's voice that said "Look! Look!", and I was looking at the screen and there was a baby. This dream was different from others I have had. When we did find out I was in fact pregnant (I had not at all suspected it at the time I had the dream, it was too early) me and my husband just stared at one another with big eyes and open mouth. We were like "How...", but no protection is 100%. We both adapted quickly to the baby news and then we had our very precious child. Today I am allergic to the sentence "Oh, you're pregnant, was it planned?". I always say it does not matter if it was planned or not, as long as it is welcomed and loved, one has 9 months to get prepared.

its way too good to be true.

way too common, people accept this too easily

I can say that life was not made for a plan but it was made to express and to bring about change, ofcourse, but why don't younger people who ae not parents and do not have these dreams?

to me it seems like mass breeding just like farm animals.

i don't want to offend you but.

I have had alot of reincarnation and alot of regrets on what I have done and did.

but if you are right then i suppose then I am in wrong place and wrong time that i do not belong here.

idk why I am in this universe or earth or time line if I am not needed.

I cannot find what I want either.

a family.

i feel like a prisoner

No, a life plan or contract is the norm,
It’s part of choosing the right parents so you can learn and experience the things you need to experience or just want to experience,
