I've been practicing with a Brian Weiss regression CD and sometimes I feel my mind is slower than his pace. I've noticed this with other guided meditations too. Sometimes it takes a few moments for something to emerge in my mind. On the CD, he counts down and then says "be there!" in the memory but sometimes I'm like "wait, I'm not there yet"! I've paused it a few times to let something happen-a feeling, image to emerge, etc. It's like something is percolating right below the surface, I know something is happening and I'm like come on, you can do it! Then it appears.
Do others have this same problem? Or am I just slow? LOL Do your memories appear super fast? If they take longer and I'm waiting for something, are they real memories or is my brain trying to make something up?? It's not like 10 minutes or something just takes some moments longer to get something.
Even when I'm remembering something in this current life, sometimes it takes me a minute to let the memory emerge. Maybe it's just how my brain operates.
