Do you think it is possible for little kids to tell if you believe in reincarnation?

This is just another one of my "random thoughts." Are little kids, say 1,2,3 years old able to "see into your soul" and tell if you believe in reincarnation. That they have come back from Heaven, and if they were to talk of a past life, you would understand what they were talking about? Can they tell if you believe in reincarnation?

This is just an opinionated question. I just thought of this idea; I am not saying any of it is real. What do you think of this thought?

I don't know if they can tell wheter or not you believe, but they are sensitive to your feelings. Just like a baby 0-3 can tell if a person likes kids or not. but i think if they feel comfortable they will talk to you. their more intune to things than you and I are.

I don't know but it's an intriguing thought.

Kids just gravitate to me (and I love that) because I view them as PEOPLE, just exceptionally young ones! I think they appreciate that compassion and respect.

I grew up in a society where reincarnation is taken for granted. It is possible that children feel more free to bring up a past life memory in such a society without fear of being ridiculed or slighted.

One thing we should note is that generally many children have not experienced much since birth and their minds are not yet cluttered with 'new' events. It is not surprising if what they remember most is is what preceded their birth.

I do know that if a child hears you talking about such topics, he may reveal his own memories. For example, a young girl who hear me mention reincarnation told me that when she was 1 or 2 she had always known that she had come from another place (presumably in another 'dimension') to live with her parents.

Hello,
When my son was about 3ish (I know he was at least 2 maybe had just turned 3) we were all outside playing. It was my husband, my daughter (who was 5 at the time), he and I and an airplane was going overhead. He looked up it just looked at me and said "I used to fly one of those. My name was Buzz." I tried to ask him questions about it but the most I could get out of him was that he shot other planes down.
Then, not to long ago I was sitting at the kitchen table and for god only knows what reason, an image came into my mind of abot 6 men standing on what looked like the film when you take it out of a camera to develop it or the big reels that they play in movie theaters, and my son looking just as he does was standing at the front of the line of them. The thought "Wow, Eric is an old soul" popped into my head along with it, but the man right behind Eric was dressed in a brown bomber jacket complete with the scarf and goggles (sorry, I don't know the proper names of these). If I ask him now that he is 7 he just smirks and looks at me like I am crazy!
But then another time he said to my mom that he knew her when she was little. He mentioned something that only she knew from a time period in her childhood. They are very close and I always thought that my daughter would be my grandfather becase I got pregnant with her 8 months after he died and I got pregnant with Eric only 3 weeks after my grandmother died. He has alot of her tendencies.
On another note, my daughter has a fasination with babies. She wants a million babies she has told me. One time my mom was telling them something about a baby that was born dead and my daughter had been listening but was staring and just said "Oh, I know how that feels." I am sure that she had at least one life where she had a baby die soon after birth. She also has always said that I am the best mommy she ever had. I ask her about that sometimes but she just shrugs.

An interresting thought!

I think kids still see aura's (until they are discouraged from doing so), so maybe they can see "belief" if is translated into energy patterns or something like that. But it's more likely that they'll sense if you are treating them respectfully like an individual (no matter how young/no ageism) instead of a lesser being or something like is so common! If you treat them with respect, they are more likely to talk to you and open their hearts to you - and tell you things like past lives, cause they know you won't laugh at them.
