Ever since I was very young, I have had Dreams and Memories of another time not of my current one, a time possibly during World War II, of England and the white cliffs of Dover.

I enjoy watching travel shows and especially like the ones of England and Scotland, so it was no surprise that I developed a belief in reincarnation as an adult.

Perhaps I led a previous life as an airman flying back to England and seeing the white cliffs of Dover, and perhaps I was killed during WWII and reborn several years later in this life.

It is quite possible that it happened, who knows?

I'm curious to know what you made of your dreams and memories when you were very young if you developed a belief in reincarnation as an adult? Were you aware of reincarnation when you were a child? Did you believe that you had lived before, or did you find it all a bit confusing?


Your dreams, coupled with your interest in England and Scotland certainly indicate that you may have spent a past life there, have you considered a regression to unearth any more information?

Hi:


At first it was very confusing, kind of like a nightmare, but not exactly, because like most kids I had those too (including one that may have been an OBE), but I had no one to talk to, growing up in a Christian Methodist house.


Slowly as I got older, I sorted things out in my head, and it was in my young adult years that I finally grasped the concept of reincarnation, but kept it quiet for fear of ridicule, now I don't care what people think about reincarnation, I believe in it!

Do you keep a dream journal? It's a helpful tool to put together random parts of dreams that may have to do with a past life.
 
Dreams and Memories


Hi:


My dreams are pretty much hit or miss, sometimes I can remember them and other times not.


When I was with the Fire Department and I was awoken during the night, say for a call, I at first would recall them, but was in too much of a hurry to write them down.


But when I got sick and had to retire, I seemed to stop dreaming (or at least remembering them), but lately they've been coming back, but no dreams yet of WWII.

For many of the British pilots up until the Battle of Britian, there would not have been much happening in the War for them to remember. A very high proportion of them never survived their first or second sortie, so, past life memories would have likely been punctuated by one traumatic event.

Based partly on speculation and partly on "a feeling" I wonder if the "past life" dreams of seeing the white cliffs of Dover might be when I was returning to my base after a mission or perhaps I could of been a student pilot, or perhaps I did crash and die in sight of the cliffs, and it was the last thing I saw?


In this lifetime I have never been a pilot, but had enough of an interest to attend ground school at a flying club, but could never make that final leap by soloing, a repressed fear of dying again?


I am convinced that our soul occupies many bodies down through the ages, with different sexes, races, and sizes, and as one friend put it, it's like junking the old car and buying a newer model.

Hi Hydrolad! The White Cliffs of Dover was the last thing many pilots saw, not only during the battle of Britain, but throughout the war. Spitfires and Hurricanes certainly went down in numbers during the Battle of Britain, while bombers and escort fighters would have viewed the welcome sight of the Dover Strait upon their return. Is your initial feeling that you were in a fighter or bomber?

If you saw the cliffs he was probably a fighter pilot. Certainly during the battle of britain many pilots would have flown out over the Channel and had the view of the cliffs on their return.


Most British bomber ops occurred at night.


Do you have any recollections of the smell of the aircraft?
