figuring out what's "real"

Not too long ago I had a dream about my past life during the Holocaust, and while part of it seemed to be memories of things that happened, some of it seemed to be my thoughts or daydreams from that time. It was a little strange.

It got me thinking, a person has thousands and thousands of thoughts per day. When we recall a past life memory, how do we know the memory is something that actually happened and not just a thought/daydream from the past? Where ever our past life memories are "stored", I guess I wonder if maybe some random "junk" could be recorded too.

In my current life, I'm a daydreamer.:D I'm very very good at visualizing with incredible detail and I wonder if these daydreams I have now will someday be "remembered" by me in a future life?

For me what is real, whether in a vision, lucid dream or meditation, is the level of emotion I feel when viewing the situation presented. I have felt stronger emotions in some visions and lucid dreams than I have ever felt in my current lifetime.

I, too, can daydream fantastic things and since I was a child teachers and professors have asked me where I have gotten my ideas for the papers I've written...and they have just come to me...why plagiarize? On the contrary, the matters that come to me with emotion (and not even necessarily dramatic emotion...it might only be a calm, deep sense of love and compassion) have a singular and lasting, deeper and more familiar and full sense about them.

Another way to verify their veracity is to review the dream/meditation/vision in the akashic records. Naturally if its not there it never was.

kemetic18 - I've found that when experiencing a past life through a dream, I either have:

A powerful one, in which I feel all the emotions strongly with every detail and have no question in my mind when I wake that it was a past life. Or:

I have a dream that seems to touch on a past life, there seems to be a line of detailed events/places/people I've never seen before, but also 'other stuff'. For example I notice something wasn't period correct for the time, or I just don't have that connection with who I am.

Because it was a dream you had, maybe you had one of these dreams...Still past life, just not as fully involved, not as deep a dream level. I have many dreams like this, and I too, wonder 'what's real?'

As for wondering if you'll remember your daydreams from this life next time, I doubt it. We have so many thoughts every given hour, I don't think they would be considered important enough to bother rememebering. We only remember if there is a reason. Though you may remember this life in your next life.

usetawuz, I found this very interesting, I've heard of the Akashic records, but can you explain your comment here a little better? How do you 'view' the dream/meditation/vision 'in' the Akashic records?!

I think that is interesting, some of my dreams that I have now may of been dreams that I had in a previous life. There is really no way of knowing, but yet it seems that much of the content of our dreams does relate to our real life experiences. I have been having many dreams of crashing airplanes, which I believe come from my previous life during WWII, yet some of these dreams that I have now may have been my worst nightmares from that time, as it make sense that everyone was having terrible nightmares about that war.

I think my reference was to "review" one's akashic records, and that would take the assistance of a reader who will access your records with the assistance of their guidance and your guidance and answer questions you ask regarding the particular event (dream/vision/meditation) or its contents. In opening the records, your questions allow your guidance to show the reader the particular portions of the records and the reader will then describe what he/she is being shown to you enabling you to ask specific questions about the dynamics, importance, meaning or effects of those events, giving you an understanding about the message/purpose of what you experienced. It will be very clear if there was no significance to the event as your guidance will immediately tell the reader there was nothing there...unless it is kept from you for a specific purpose, which will also become evident.

As an example, I asked a reader simply "why did I receive a vision on an Italian train on March 23, 2006?", without going into any further detail. She was shown my former fiance (M), with whom I had an amazing psychic connection, who had come to me in the vision during a time she was going through a terrible life-changing event. The reader said we were very close soulmates and M was not sure she would survive her situation...it was not so much a call for help as a potential goodbye from this plane...until we see each other again "over there". I was able to ask further questions about the relationship with M, both in this lifetime and in prior lives which was very enlightening and explained a great deal. At a later date I was able to verify M had just found out about a life-threatening illness while in the middle of a divorce with two small children on March 23, 2006.

Anyone has the capacity to "view" their own records and a reader would not be necessary, although I know many readers who have another reader review their records for them.

Thanks very much for your reply usetawuz. The connections you discovered with (M) on March 23, 2006 are very interesting! Sometimes I am so amazed/overwhelmed at the level we could all connect on if we just tried.

lovely
