This book is by Jeffrey Keene, who is actually a member of this forum (I think his username is Stars3). In it he retells the fascinating story of how he came to believe he is the reincarnation of General John B. Gordon who fought for the South in the American Civil War. He also writes about his experience as a firefighter, the events of 9/11/01, and the case of a child who remembers being a firefighter killed on that day, discussed on this very forum. I gave it five stars. One of the reasons I believe Jeffrey Keene is that I've read Reminiscences of the Civil War by General Gordon and they both have a distinctive writing style and sense of humor, which happen to be virtually identical.
