In lieu of the topic I commented on yesterday (about past life dreams and if they can be literal or symbolic) I am going to post a memory dream I had just this past night.
This dream was symbolic, but was also a memory.
What made this dream symbolic was that it occurred in modern times, the architecture, and technology. The people and events were from a past life.
I was a soldier, and I spotted an enemy woman. She also noticed me. I quickly went to grab my gun, and she began to lob a grenade at my direction. I ran for it, but regretted having not taken the opportunity to take out an enemy. I also, didn't want to get blown into pieces. I felt and heard the grenade detonate, and was thrown to the ground. Later on in this dream, I run into said woman again. This time, I wasn't going to run and she lobbed another grenade, and this one was a dud. I was also aware that sometimes, grenades appear to be duds, but thrown back could detonate. I threw it back, and it detonated.
This dream also took place in my old neighborhood that I grew up in, but was also overlapped with the past. So, my mind melded the two together, but everything adds up.
