Daniel Knew of my fathers death..HELP!!!
Hi Everyone, My Father passed away last Monday, June 16th about 5:00 PM. I found out with a phone call from my sister. She called me at about 7:00 PM. My family and I were having dinner when she called. My sister was hysterical and had a hard time talking. It took her awhile to spit out the words. Dad is dead. I asked how and why and then got off the phone to tell my family.
I sat down and told them my father had passed away. Daniel says I know, You didn't know it was his day???? NO I did not, I told him. He said "well I knew" he said "I wrote it in my journal today...That I would not be going fishing with my grandpa this summer as he had passed away. I was in shock...and he said it so calmly.
I did talk to him as to how he knew, and he said he just did. and seemed suprised I did not know. He told me he was sorry he did not tell me.... OH I need some help...what kind of gift does this kid have? What do I need to do for him?
I did go to school the next day, Tuesday...Daniel is in summer school. I checked his journal and there was not another mention of my father until that day. It said " I will not be going fishing with my grandpa, he passed away. I asked the teacher about it? as he told me she said she was sorry to hear his grandpa passed. and he replied " it's ok it was his time."
When I asked the teacher, she said he was very calm and factual that my Dad was gone, and I told her it had not even happened at the time he wrote it down. The teacher found it hard to believe...but it has scared me. I don't want to panic him I just want to help him....
