How do you get in touch with your spirit guide?

I want to buy a book on this when I'm done with all the books I have but jw if anyone knows? Someone told me my spirit guide is a little girl but she told me not to share her name or nationality with anyone. Idk why; I guess her identity needs to be protected. I just want to know how I can induce dreams or visions of her. :D Or something else along those lines.

Sarellah, I find my guide in a simple meditation that I do. Remember, everything I'm going to describe is "virtual"! I have a gate to the other side in my back fence. If I'm not at home, I bring the gate with me. My gate is arched, with creaky hinges, and an iron latch. Yours can look anyway you want it to. There's a bottomless chest by the gate. I open it, and dump in all my accumulated emotional and mental "garbage".(That's why it's bottomless"!) I slam the lid shut on it. When I go through the gate, my guide meets me inside, usually sitting on a stone garden bench. I call her "mother", but she isn't my mother. I think she is the feminine aspect of God. She has a wonderful, warm laugh, and makes everything better. She gives me what we all need from a mother, and never get! She asks the right questions, is not judgmental, and joy bubbles up from inside her. She doesn't mind if you go and look for her, too. She belongs to everyone.

That's awesome! I love it. I think some of the therapists I've had were kind of like mothers to me...and spirit guides...only real.

I am picturing this mystical woman you describe, though, and imagining her magically sending away all my frustration regarding the past and future...giving me a hug...She is my new best friend. Thank you for introducing me to her, BriarRose. :) I can't always talk to a therapist but I can always visit her! <3

This is pretty cool...I did the left ear meditation and it worked for me...I love my spirit guide :) However, should I trust what this woman told me about her? She told me her name, nickname and nationality and said not to tell anyone.

I reach mine at various times through the akashic records and through meditation, and most often recently, through predawn/partial sleep at about 3 to 6 am. The latter has been surprising in its level of clarity and information. In the records and meditation, they simply become more clear to me, while the morning conversations are initiated with answers dropping into my near mindless "I wonder" questions, and followed with greater interaction.

I am not sure why she would indicate you aren't to tell anyone. Some time ago while in my records with a reader, my guidance mooned the reader and on another occasion shocked another reader with some choice language! On a later occasion I asked what they looked like and immediately got a view of the painting "American Gothic", with the bald headed farmer with glasses holding a pitchfork and his dour, grey-haired wife next to him. Now he seems to always carry that pitchfork...I guess so I'll recognize him...his trademark, or security code!

It is my understanding each of us has guidance of our own to assist us in staying on our life path...how they can most effectively do that determines how they are going to deal with you. My own experience with guidance has been one of both hilarity and unbridled compassion. The pointed humor and enjoyment of my antics is never far removed from the unconditional love they hold for me, and their desire for me to achieve what I set out to do is completely aligned with my higher self.

I wish you success in meeting your guidance...it will be the beginning of a wonderful relationship.
