Hi, me again and my weird questions.

I have tried self hypnosis but no luck yet. So went back to listening to youtube regression tapes again. This time I really tried to be in charge and tell myself to go to the life of Anna (who's last name I don't have, think it was past life me who died in the 1970's ) but no, did not work. Instead I said with ease and clarity that I was "Marléne Bouvier", a french woman who lived in 1814, had apparently a complicated relationship with my mother, had several children and gave birth on the middle of the floor in my nightgown (and my husband putting a pillow under my head, thanks a lot ;) ), and I baked bread, then I ended up dead by age 52, not feeling well in the kitchen. Whilst this regression went on I tried to interrupt and think "Anna", "Go to Anna's life now", but still I was stuck in the life as "Marléne".

I don't know how regressions works for you all; and I don't mean to complain, but why can't I be more in control? Does anyone have any idea on how to go about?

Good morning Li. La :)

That's the thing with regressions I guess, although I haven't performed self-regressions, only guided regressions by therapists: what I felt is that your intellect, your ego, or whatever name you want to give to the part of you that wants to be in control, is put to rest to allow the expression of what needs to be seen.

In that regard, I would say that you succeeded, in the way that you accessed something you were probably not aware of, previously. May I ask you how you reflect on the memory of Marlène? I was trying, on my side, to do a small research on when/where this name would be most likely to appear.

Bouvier, as a last name, seems to be originating from the area of Savoie/Isère, in France. (With some also in Normandy!). FYI, Bouvier means Cattle guide, or something similar, in France. There was variations of this spelling, most notably Boyer.

I narrowed the search for the last name Bouvier for a birth between 1800 and 1900, and here are the results I got:
Bouvier.jpg

Sadly, there is very limited amount of results for 'Marlene Bouvier', as the 9 results I got are all for individuals being born after 1900. Actually, there is very limited amount of individuals named Marlene prior to the 1930s in France, and I don't know if it's because of lack of data, or if the name was just rarely used. Anyway with this map you have a good idea of this Marlene Bouvier's possible location :)

Is your supposed previous incarnation as Anna taking a toll on your current well-being? If not, I think it did not arise as it is, in my opinion, probably not the right moment, however frustrating that can be.

That's amazing, thank you very much for your reply :) I don't know what came out of my mouth, I tell you that. I also said "Shilling" (don't know the spelling don't know if it was about money or a last name) and "Cedric", don't know if that was her husband's name.

It was a bit like watching a movie only I had temporarily jumped into one of the roles and did not know what was gonna happen next. I was not emotionally involved that much, not even when Marléne desperately tried to talk and comfort her husband after he had lost someone close (I think parent). She was afraid for his wellbeing. He would just close all doors. She loved him.

We lived outside in the countrie somewhere, I was surprised at all the things that were white - Marléne's clothes, there was whitish around the window - at least in the kitchen. There is this part of me that wonders if this was just fabrication or actually real. I wore white nightgown and then in another day also a white dress. I later researched and saw that type of nightgown and dress being worn by women around that time frame, but to me it would seem not a practical thing to wear, especially if one has children that plays around you.

I think the experience came up as to explain my hesitent on relationships between some older women and I. As Marlene I knew it was a dark, complicated relationship with my own mother in that life and it was explained that we came together in this current life as to try to fix things, but that this other dark side to our past would still be there and trigger things, with her it had to do with real strong fear that things would go wrong that in that life would make her mean. Then it followed by Marléne having a fragile relationship with the mother-in-law. They were both kind of demanding ladies, her husband wasn't at all; not in that aspect. Marléne understood that her mother-in-law was guarding and being envious of Marléne's relationship with her son; so she swallowed a lot because of this. To Marléne it was not a struggle - she knew her husband loved both his mother and her, and she was not envious but it was as if the mother-in-law felt her son was too good to Marléne. It was like no matter what Marléne did or said it was just her presence that was in her mother-in-laws way. Both these mother's also lied when ever they felt like it, or so Marléne saw it, It really was as if they used their position to push her down. Sorry for that long explanation.

I think otherwise the life that was shown was a pleasant one, they lived in a nice house, her husband had humor, I did not see anything bad going on elsewhere, but it was as if Marléne was stuck where she was; in the house. As if she went from her mother's house to her husband's house - and that was where she spent her life basically. Don't think she traveled or saw too much of the world, just stayed in two places basically. Think she longed to see what was out there.

Again, thank you :)

It's my pleasure :)

I have done quite a lot of genealogic research in France to build my own family tree, so I was happy to be able to (quickly) use the tools I master.

One thing that popped into my mind, after writing my previous comment: names, wether family names or first names, can be a bit misleading because of spelling errors and/or local variations of the spoken language/dialect.

Also, it might be that what you heard as Marlene was either a nickname or a local variation of a more traditional French first name at the time, such as Marie or Marie-anne/Marianne.

From my experience, it's not uncommon to have variations (see Bouvier/Boyer) between two generations, as most of the locals at the time would be either illiterate and it was down to the clerk registering the birth/wedding/death to place a spelling on your name.

Aside from that, I did a quick search of the history of the name Marlene, and it's indeed quite rare in France. It seems to have popped in the 1920s, and my first idea would be to have it sparked after the successes of Marlene Dietrich's movies in France (probably, although I have no actual proof to show). Marlene is more traditionally a German name.

Food for thoughts :)

Yeah I also thought of marlene dietrich although her true name was maria magdalena:) li.la, your marlene could have lived close to the border to germany as well - for example in the alsace area.

Years ago I had a short vision of a scene in a park where everybody was dressed in white having a picnic. I was in a state of being between dreaming and being awake - it was no dream for sure. It was something else, very real, while being right there at the same time I heard my husband talking to my son. I came to the conclusion it must have been a between lifes scene - it was no pl memory. Felt more like scenery described by william buhlman and robert monroe in their OBEs. Funny experience anyway.
So, i guess what you saw was very different and rather a pl. Maybe the topic of difficult relationships to older women/mothers is of some importance to you?

Regarding your question, i'm not in control at all but lately i mostly get glimpses of the 50ies and 60ies. Just never as detailed as you do! I think its amazing what load of information you get. With me its more a recall of things very similar to ordinary childhood memories I carry but from another pl. No movie for me, wished i'd see one! I just get enough info to feel intrigued and troubled but not enough to feel sure about anything.
Do you always use the same youtube Video or do you try different videos?
Regards!

God, I'm terrible with names, to me it sounded when it came out of my mouth as "Marlene" and "Bouvier" but yes it could have been Marianne or Marie-Helene or something like that. I'm sorry.

I thought it was France when I tried to search on the last name, and because I saw the rich nature outside and Bouvier being from France. Perhaps I jumped to conclusions then.

I said "Shilling" around the time when I was asked about earning a living and so on (Yeah, right). I saw some coins and my husband was with me, like it was his money. I took my time before answering.

I don't know the real occupation that her husband had but I would say he was perhaps some inventor and he was artistic as well (would paint flowers to give me instead of just giving me flowers). The inventor bit came in as he would build things with the children; things they wanted to try out, and he had plans in his head of what to draw up and do. Everyone got involved with this and it would be done outside. This could just have been two hobbies of his, I don't know.

Right before the session was over I said "Cedric!", but don't really know why, as if someone I knew had that name, I just assumed it was the husband, and that I had just before that realized that I was dying whilst being in the kitchen, everything was still then around me - no one else was there, perhaps no one else was up yet. then I said 52. So I'm thinking I was 52.

Hi! Thank you for your thoughts/reply. What a wonderful in between life scene :)

Yes, it could be that I lived close to the border to Germany, I can't tell at this point. I used the word "shilling" regarding money - and from what I've read later on this was a term used in Germany and ended in 1868 but I don't know when it began, though.

I have never thought of it prior but I suppose I have carried it with me - the issue with older women/mothers. Now it is somehow released and let go off. At the end of it I remember thinking or saying silently to myself to her/my past life mother/my current one that "You were afraid"; like now I understand. It was as if I forgave her for the damage I felt she had caused me in that pl. And peace came automatically.

I hope your glimpses of the 1950's and the 1960's are happy ones. Maybe if you sit down in front of computer and start to write down what you get glimpses of the memory will broaden itself automatically and you will see more, as long as you are relax and just let it happen. This has happened to me a few times. When I then got out of the relaxed state I could not believe everything I had written in a short time. When I was in my "Marlene-movie" and got to me giving birth I was like "Oh, no - you gotta be kidding me", and the scene would not go away either, so at that point it was too real ;), then finally it went away, exhale :) I still don't know if I have made it all up though.

There seem to be only one youtubevideo that does the trick with me so far. It is "Beginner Past life Regression Hypnosis Guided w Instructions" by BlueSky Hypnosis. It does create a problem though when he starts to talk about job and money, and so on - and I'm like; Whaat? So instead of "work" I show him me baking bread at home and so on. It was actually a bit like Marlene got offended with him for asking her about work and also confused - as if she thought the questions were for her husband then.

Below is just a pic (could not help myself) of a similar dress that I saw myself wearing, the whitish one :)

Hi, me again

I've searched for how interior decorating looked like in those days. Saw pieces of the movie "Pride and Prejudice" on you tube and recognized the whitish clothing as well as the "puffyness" of whitish scarfs ? on the men.

What I can remember from the regression were the beautiful windows, many of them, small ones with whitish all around that was in Marlene's kitchen; that was where she would sit by the table and look out, and also the place where she was when she began to feel like dying. I was skeptic that they had those type of windows back in the beginning of the 1800, but in the movie they had :D and I think they were suppose to reflect that time era so I think it is safe to say it was like that in those days....?

giphy.gif

Just beautiful windows...

Now I'm thinking she was probably a German girl - I assumed she was french due to "Bouvier" but I never heard anyone talking and she did not write either in French. I thought the nature also looked beautifully french ;), who doesn't love France, right?

Since I said "Schilling" about money she ought to come from Germany. Maybe her name was "Marlene Beyer" or "Bayer". However, the name Cedric does not really fit in the German area though, it is an English name.

I have never watched the movie "Pride and Prejudice" before, I thought it would be a movie not in my taste but now I think I will watch the entire movie one evening :p

Now I am up to 4 past lives, a man and 3 women, and haven't found a single one of them - crazy. Perhaps in my next life I'll probably have the same trouble finding myself in this one o_O

Anyway, thanks everyone for the help :)

White, white and white again..
