How much do you remember about your most recent PL?

Karoliina said:
Hello Ahuicyani,
How did you remember that lifetime? Was it spontaneous, did the memories come in dreams, or were you regressed or meditating? I'm always curious of how people remember. :)

Karoliina
When I was a kid in my present life, I had unconscious memories from that life in particular.

A few little obsessions like, my preference to use shorts for swimming instead of the trousers style bath-suit, in fashion those days, or to wear Bermudas instead of shorts for school.

I did not like using v-neck T-shirts. I later know it was because in my past life I had freckles in my chest.

I was always suspecting the persons outside my family circle, who were showing me affection, And some others that I prefer not to mention.

When I was 13, those memories started to manifest more intensely.

I had a very confused adolescence, I had the symptoms of the victims of abuse.

When I was 26, I joined to a meditation group, when I started to practice meditation, I opened the gates and everything came out.

I had a happy infancy in my present life, and I am absolutely sure I experienced no abuse.

Thanks for sharing, I hope that helped you, too. They are not easy memories, I'm sure, but it's better to remember and work with them, than just let them loom in the background causing problems.

I'm glad to hear you're in peace now. :)

Great to see all of the replies to the original question, and other questions raised in result!

personally, I remember a lot from my last lifetime. It was very brief (I believe I was born sometime around 1963 and died around 87, born in 1990 this life), and very traumatic. This is actually the story of "Elese", of whom I carried a lot over with me into this life, especially when I started my membership here (thus using that name instead of my current name):

I was a female from a very troubled family life (confirmed through memories I've had with a friend who was my mother and a "bad person" in this life also), my mother possibly being an outlaw (or had done something bad) and dying when I was young. I don't remember much between the time she died and the next big event, which came to me in a dream. From what I can guess by the symbolism in the dream, I was about 16 or so, and either almost raped or actually raped (not sure on, I lean towards actually) by a classmate I trusted, and I think that other of my male friends may have murdered him as a result (though this memory is all based on the dream I had where I recognized myself as her, so it's hard to distinguish what is memory and what is symbolism to validate that something terrible happened).I'm not sure if it was before this event or as a result of, but I became highly addicted to heroine and spent the remainder of my short life shooting up. I died from an overdose, and it's questionable whether it was intentional or not.

I think that we remember lives that are most important to our current lives the best because they are most relevant; for me, Elese has always been my reminder that I have those tendencies to fall into drugs/depression and how I have to face the hardships so I can become a stronger soul and move on from those lessons. Though I have never actually fallen on heroine in this life, I started my familiarity with substance abuse (alcohol and pills) from an early age in this life, mostly spanning from the time I was 12-15, and at some points getting so bad that I've been in the hospital as a result. I thankfully made it out of that trap mostly because I was able to recall Elese and what a fiasco that lifetime was.

Now I can hardly relate to the person I was as Elese or even just the four years ago in this life; though I realize I could always fall back to it, I now understand why I am drawn that direction and am able to avoid it with little difficulty and move on to other lessons.

Hi Elese,

I am glad that you are avoiding past mistakes. You are right about substance abuse being a trap and I know that you are a strong person to overcome it.

Your signature is interesting to me because it reflects exactly what I see myself as -- a spiritual being immersed in the human experience.

In october 2002, I discovered that I am the reincarnation of my own great-great-great grandfather, a man that lived in the 19th century United States and was a veteran of the American Civil War. He died the victim of a political assassination. A few months ago, I obtained a copy of the medical examiners report. It indicated that he had been shot three times with a rifle. One bullet struck his stomack and another his lung. The third and fatal bullet stuck his heart, killing him instantly. Upon reading this, I remembered an incident, which occurred at Mrytle Beach when I was about eight years old. I had been playing in the sand and serf and was not wearing a shirt. My father noticed that I had two identical moles in perfect alignment. One was on my back and the other on my abdoman. My father commented saying it looked like something had passed straight through my body at these two points. I remember when he said it, it sent a chill down my spine. I have visited my grave from this lifetime. I will later post the details of another lifetime I discovered in December 2005. It occurred in the 17th Century.

Welcome Tsaralexis, thank you for sharing. What made you recall these memories, regression or something else? Please feel free to tell the whole story in the Past Life section, it sounds like it will be very interesting. The past life wounds manifesting themselves in this incarnation is not uncommon and a great validator. Have you read any of the threads here on the forum regarding that? Jeff Keene, a member here-"Stars3", in his book Someone Else's Yesterday talked a lot about the same thing. He even has some great pictures in his book.

Incarnating as your great great grandson also is a frequent denominator. My most recent past life that I recall was as my great grandfather. For me it is a tremendous joy to feel such a sense of family and belonging...history.

I look forward to the rest of the story. And again WELCOME!

Thank you for the kind welcome.

I also remember that as a preschooler, I would often button the top button on my shirt and flip my collar up. I thought it looked more elegant and dignified that way, the way a gentleman would wear his collar. My mother would then come behind me and flip it back down.

I always have been attracted to things Victorian; furniture and household items, etc. I often felt I had been born in the wrong time period and believed I would feel at home, if I could travel back in time to the Middle or late 1800's. It is no wonder I became a collecter of antiques.

Also every since I was a boy, whenever I watched the movie Gone with the Wind, I always feel a great sadness when Atlanta is burning and Rhett tells Scarlett That the South she knew was dying. I feel the same when Scarlett discovers Twelve Oaks in ruin. However, earlier in the movie, when Scarlett and Rhett dance at a fund raiser, and an old man announces a Confederate victory and the band plays Dixie, I feel jubulent. After discovering my most recent past life as my own ancestor, all the above made perfect sense.

In the summer of 2002 I began seeing a local hypnotist in hopes of discovering information about my past lives under hypnotic regression. I met with the hypnotist until the Fall, but never obtained anything. By the time I ended my sessions with the hypnotist, I was beginning to think I would never discover my past life identity. It would appear the universe ackowledged my sincere efforts, because just a few weeks later I made the discovery in a most unexpected way. I received a package of genealogical information in the mail. Among it's contents was a narrative that my great great grandmother's younger half brother had written about their father. In it he descibed two events which I had experienced as a child in the form of spontaneous past life recall memory flashes and also an incident that I had once experienced in a detailed dream. I knew then that I was the reincarnation of my own G-G-G Grandfather. I have always had a passion for genealogy.

I visited my own grave, before I knew that I was actually the one buried there in it. At the time I only thought it was the grave of my ancestor. However, as I neared it I remember having a feeling of great excitement and anticipation. It was also a very blissful feeling that sent a warm tingle along my spine and made my hair feel as if it was standing on end.

Since discovering that I was my ancestor, I have also visited the place of his assasination. It appeared familiar to me. I could recall both having been there and looking down on it from above, just after having been shot and killed.

My facial architecture matches both my 19th and 17th century facial architecture, just as Dr. Walter Simkew demonstrates in his book.

My memories of my most recent life are the most detailed. It was the first life I regressed to. I had no idea what to expect and I was shocked. First, because I could believe how specific the memories were. Second, I was suprised I was female when I'm male now. The date 1973 and the name Karen popped into my head. I was young, late teens. I died in my early 20's in an accident. I could go on and on describing things I've seem from that life.

Hi Truthseeker,

Welcome :)

I could go on and on describing things I've seem from that life.
Please feel free to start a new thread and share your memories. I know we'd all love to read them.

As for my most recent PL experience, I do not have any memories it seems. But I do have a really deep and profound Deja Vu experience which I consider quite interesting. I need to do more work on this my most immediate PL.

Now some years ago like in 1998 or 1999, I visited theNorthern Cheyenne Reservation in Southeastern Montana. I had never been to this reservation before and had such a desire to visit this reservation. Now when I immediately crossed over the boundary onto the reservation, I had such a deep deep sense of being back 'Home' again. This feeling of being 'HOME' again just overwhelmed me and stayed with me for the rest of the day while I stayed on the reservation. Again let me say that in this life, this has been the once and only time that I have ever visited the Northern Cheyenne Reservation. I spent a big part of the rest of the day on the reservation going here and there and seeing this and that. I remember seeing some little museum dedicated to the Northern Cheyenne people. In the afternoon, I decided to visit the local cemetery which is near Lame Deer, Mt. And soon after I got out and walked around a little in the cemetery, I then immediately completely broke down and started crying and crying profusely for quite sometime. And right nearby of where I broke down was this grave of some Cheyenne Girl that had been born in around 1931 -1932 but died in 1955. And ever since I have really deeply wondered is this the grave of my former self from my most recent PL. This is because I myself was born in Dec. 1956 in Denver, Co.

And as for myself in this life, even though am white on the outside, how much it seems all my life have been attracted to all things American Indian. In fact I don't listen much to Rock and Roll music or much modern music it seems except for some country music though which I like. But I could listen to Indian Powwow music All Day Long!

Hi Kayla!

That must have been a very profound experience for you. I understand about the sudden feeling of "home".

Have you had any more insights into this possible past life as a young Cheyenne girl? I know you mentioned you have no actual memories, but perhaps feelings, brief flashes?

Please feel free to share more!

Thanks

Welsh, actually there is a little more on this.

Back in the middle 90's or so, before I ever went out there, I had started studing the Cheyenne language some. It turns out that it is one of the world's most difficult languages to learn. I still feel such a connection to the Cheyenne and one of these days have to go back to the Northern Cheyenne Reservation. After this trip, I even did a some genealogy on this Cheyenne girl and her family.

Now I do know that my most immediate PL, I was both Female and Native American. It seems that in this life that ever since I was little, I have been interested in everything Indian bigtime. There have been some times in my life that I have even become racially disporic at times, kinda like some transgenders feel but racially with being white but feeling so one at times with Native Americans. At times when visiting some reservation or at some powwow, have sooo felt that these are my people at times. But since am white in this life, I don't say a thing and never EVER talk about this. I have visited other reservations but this such a feeling of being 'Home' like what happened here did not occur interesting enough.

Also in my meditations have really felt the spirit saying to me that if I had been an Indian in this life, I would be one with a fist in the air filled with bitterness and anger. And that I needed to be born white this time to see the other side and for love which does make so much sense. This present Life I will say has been Good and Life is Great! Also am really grateful for my parents that have had in this life and learned

so much from both of them for whatever it is worth. But my mother with along with my brother and sister, would remark on how I was so different then others in the family. No one else in the family has been into the Native American ways and never ever listens to powwow music.

Now I do have one memory which have thought could be from the last life but it could be from some other different PL also. It is that I was raped by some (maybe 3) white cowboys and from this, it then resulted in my death. And this is interesting because that in this life I have stayed out of all things dealing with sexual relationships and romantic things period which incidentally comes seemingly easy for me in staying out of relationships for whatever it is worth. Now sometime I need to go up there to Montana and dig thru the old papers to see if I could find a obituary or something on this Cheyenne girl.

Also do really wonder for various reasons if in a former PL, was a Cheyenne that was at or even killed at the Massacre of Sand Creek and/or Washita in the 1860's for whatever it is worth. And in several lives before this immediate PL, a Psychic onetime said that I was an Indian (Male) but became a drunk and committed suicide near 1930 or so - depression days. In this life, I never drink interesting enough and when young was at times tempted of commiting suicide. And then as a white male who went to the Alaska in the Goldrush but later died in 1906 in the San Francisco Earthquake and Fire.

Kayla, you have alot of signs pointing towards perhaps several past lives as American Indians. I know what it's like to feel so comfortable with that race. I am white and grew up in an Alaskan Athabaskan farming community and homestead area. I now am with a Tlingit man and I've always felt much more at home with Natives. That could be due to the way I was raised, but either way I do understand your feelings of being white on the outside and Native on the inside. Native chanting and dancing also make me feel very amazingly happy. :)
