I finally listened!

All children have a story.......I have 3 children but I missed the first 2, or should I say dismissed them.

My first child told me all about the faires she could see, and being intuitive myself, I let her tell me all about the things she saw. Sadly I was a young, single mother then and maybe missed her memories.

My second child at age 4, while we were driving down a particular Street just came out and said "Poppy Pete used to live around here"
Knowing full well my father had never lived in the same town as us I automatically told me my son he must be confused. Maybe it looks similar. He was insistant that he lived around at area.

Several months later we once again drive by the same street and he tells me again......"This is where Poppy Pete lives"
I am thinking how confused my child is and tell him, "no mate, Poppy has never lived here"
He caught me attention in the rearview mirror, he was looking at all the houses and said "yes he did, but the house just look different"
Again I told him Poppy hasn't even been for a visit to our town let alone live here.
He never again has said anything about that street!

My youngest son was a sensitive and clingy child whom I feel very connected with. He is very much intuned with the world around him. At age 3 he asked me who the man standing beside me was? I told him I didn't know his name but maybe he could ask the man what his name was? My sons response was, "no mummy, he just likes fish!" He then ran off and played, leaving me there to wonder who the man was beside that I could not see.

I spent a lot of time with my youngest and he was very loving, always telling me how much he loves me. One day he just come out and said "Mummy, remember when I was the big one and you were the kid, and how I loved you?" I thought, oh how sweet, he is trying to tell me he loves me the same way ( how a mother loves her child), hes just using role reversal!

He has come out with "remember when you were little and I was little and you would do this and I would go like this" He would show me the movements. I didnt say much expect dismiss it and comment with "oh yeah"

When he was 5 he got hit on the face while playing tee ball, resulting in a bloodly and very swollen nose. Later that night driving home he said....."Mummy my head hurts, it feels like I am going to die"
I told him his face was swollen from where the ball had hit him. He immediately responed with...."NO mummy, it feels like it did just like the time I had a car crash and it ran over my head"
I asked him what was he talking about, we have never had a car crash. He got very angry and said "just dont worry about it"

Trying to make sense of what he just said I began to think that maybe he has had a premonition. Gee I think I will slow down when driving was what I was now thinking. I turned around and he was asleep.

To date..... he is now a 6 year old. Just 2 days ago, it was his bed time which he is very unsettled at that time of night, he always wants me to sleep with him because he is scared! I was busy on the computer and told him to lay down and go to sleep.

The next thing I know he is crying so I go into his room and ask him what is wrong and why are you crying?

"Mummy, mummy, I died, I got killed, I got run over by a car"
Oh so very quickly this came from his mouth. So many things running through my head I asked him when, when did this happen?
"When you were on the computer, just then" Now I am concerned, what did he just see in his mind, was it a premonition, I need to know everything to try and stop this happening. (I myself have known of future events).

I asked him how old was he and he told me the age he his now!

I asked him where was mummy when you got run over?
Still very upset he said "I don't know, I was walking to my friends house, the lights were red he was suppose to stop, my lights were green, I was allowed to cross the road, he didn't stop mummy! His lights were red, he wasn't suppose to keep driving."

OMG I didn't know what to think. This couldn't be possible, I would never let my children walk anywhere alone for fear of them being kidnapped and our town doesn't even have traffic lights.

OH NO......He must have remembered a previous life. It all makes sense to me now especially when he was telling us about how his head was hurting from the hit at tee ball. He referred it to the pain he felt from the day he died.

I have many questions but I am still in shock for what he has told me!

Cheers

Hello there Charlie, welcome to the forum!..

Just my opinion, but it sounds as if your little one is remembering incidents from a previous life. Try not to be shocked and worried if you possibly can. Have you noticed that your son is referring to these events in the past tense? They seem to be memories rather than premonitions.. .Don't you think? You seem to be a good listener... He may try to tell you more about what is on his mind... Do you think that next time you go for a drive you could ask him exactly which house Pete used to live in?

Hi Charli, thanks for sharing, that was really interesting!

I also believe that your son is remembering a past life, and I hope your 'shock' is in a good way, because it's amazing what we can learn from our children when we take the time to listen to them.

You're already doing the right thing by letting him talk about it, and that's all you can do really, maybe throw in a few simple questions, nothing complicated, to gently coax the memories to the surface, and also to satisfy your own curiosity perhaps. Sometimes, getting him to draw pictures can also be a good way of letting him express himself. If you haven't done so already, then start a journal and write down everything that he's told you now, and in the future, something you can refer to later on if need be.

Like most children, his past life memories should sink into his subconscious within a few years, and with your continued love and support, there's no reason why he shouldn't lead a perfectly normal and happy childhood.

Thanks again for sharing, don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have .... and please keep us updated!

Thank you for sharing Charli!

There are some strong clues to him remembering a past life there. What got me was how he explained the traffic lights...

Listen to everything he tells you (and all your children for that matter) with a open mind. Let him know you are there when he wants to talk, if he sees you are ok with him talking about these memories, he will feel ok about them too. Chris has already given you some good advice here. Another thing you can do is keep a journal, write down (and date!) every possible past life clue and/or thing he says that you think is unusual. Often over time a pattern emerges, like you noticed how 'Poppy Pete' was mentioned twice in the same location, etc. which can help 'connect the dots' so to speak.

Do keep us updated on anything else he shares!

Hi Charli, how cool! It is great you had the fortune to suspect reincarnation. It certainly does sound like a past life. If you haven't already get Carol Bowman's book on children's past lives... you'll find it very resourceful and informative!

Charli where did you learn about reincarnation? And is it part of your family tradition?

We look forward to hearing more from you.

Thank you all for your positive replies and advice. I have just ordered both books by Carol Bowans

Sorry but I dont know how to put your quotes in!

GERNIA & CHRISR

I am in shock for a few reasons, firstly at the wow factor, that I have experienced insight to reincarnation, that is amazing! Secondly, modern traffic lights were installed around 1912 so there is every possiblity that his parents/family could be still living. Being the empath that I am I feel some part sad and selfish, theres loving mother out there who lost her child and I now have him.

The traffic lights and the colours where very much emphasised when he was telling me. He has never crossed at any traffic lights with us. I know he knows green is go and red is stop, but when he was telling me he was obviously educated on how they worked.

TINKERMAN

I have really not gone into any depth on the subject but I do believe that is what happens, when we choose to reincarnate. I am a very open minded person, I have to be with what I have seen, and been shown.

I have tried to ask him about the accident but he just came out and said he didn't want to talk about it. Which is fine, I don't want him to completely shut down. But what I am curious of is the memory of it for him, will he remember it tomorrow and in a few weeks or is it like anmesia and only remembered by triggers?

Thank you all

Cheers

If he says again he doesn't want to talk about it tell him that is fine, that you are open to talking about it anytime that he wishes and that are there for him no matter what and that you love him.

I wish I had listened when my daughters were very young, I can only imagine what I missed with my oldest.

I think it's rare for a child to be 'haunted' or traumatized by a past life memory, to the point that it affects their daily life. I think if this was the case with your son, then you certainly would have noticed before now. Bear in mind that the soul is much older than the physical body that it inhabits, and has most likely experienced tens or even hundreds of deaths throughout it's journey. Despite your son's, (or any other child's) young age, I think most children who remember a past life at that age, have a natural tendency to process the memories and then let them go. Allowing him to talk about it whenever he needs to, can also have a very therapeutic effect, so you are already doing your part. With your continued love and support, I don't think you have anything to worry about. :)

This is incredible, I have just spoken about it and I tried to ask him a few simple questions. I asked what his friends name was but he couldn't remember. I asked about the colour of the car, yes he knew that, it was blue! I asked him what his mums name was, and that was interesting as he told me I was his mummy. I asked him what happened after the car hit him, he told me, "that part was kind of weird!"

He showed me on his stomach where it opened up and he went into detail about what our insides are like and how they came out of him. He was most impressed that (although his insides were out of his body) they join up, right to your bottom area!

I asked him what happened after that and he told me " I went up to heaven, now thats like being in space, then I came back to life in your belly! See I told you mum that you die and come back to life."

Yes he tells me this all the time, ( that you die and come back to life) but I thought he watched too many cartoon show were they get blown up then they come back to life. What he really means is literally it happen. Yet all this time when he has been telling me that you come back, I have told him that you dont, death is final and if you died you would never see mummy or daddy again! What a contradiction that is now, especially if I were his mother in his last life and he has came to me again. Yet he is too young to understand the real meaning.

I am going to continue to ask but not annoy him about it. I asked about heaven and he just stated thats when he got put back into my tummy.

Cheers

That is awesome, Charli ... just make sure your questions are open ended so that you do not accidentally give him the answer you are seeking. Even more important is that he know that you are willing to listed and that you accept him unconditionally. Maybe even telling him how glad you are to be his Mommy will be a huge help.

My thought is that he probably was born to a different mother but hasn't made that connection yet. Have you researched to see if any little boys died in a similar accident?

One never knows.

It's also possible that you were indeed his mother in a previous life. After all, cars have been around for over a hundred years now. Besides the car being blue, maybe you could show him pictures of cars from different eras and ask him to point out a car that looked like that?

Wow Charli! That is great that he is so willing to share.

A very good idea, just make sure all your questions aren't 'leading', leave them all open ended for him to fill in the blanks. Another idea is to ask him if the car looked like your car now - and see if he can describe any differences - before seeing pictures and then have the pictures validate the era.
