I had this weird memory of going up to this animal( I won't say what it is) in the road and caring for it. As it look like it was in pain. It was making noises I must of been about 6 maybe then all of a sudden this car comes speeding down the road and my mother in that life screams for me and I rush up to her the car speeds down the road hitting the animal killing it the people in the car were laughing and I went back to see the animal but it had past away I then went to hug my mother and started crying. I don't think she was the same mother I have in this life. It was a very odd memory because as soon as it popped up in my mind it was like I felt relieved because I suffer from mental health issues and had anxiety and schizophrenia then this popped. and my anxiety completely went away it was like I had uncovered something that affected me.it even makes me feel sad today. It felt like maybe it was the 80s? I was born in 99. I must say this animal in mind I was very fond of when little and was very worried about these animals too I would have irrational fears regarding the safety of these animals even when young.
I had some very bad memories of seeing an animal get run over when i was a kid. But i dont think it was in this life.

Such an experience can be disturbing, especially when you are highly sensitive and caring and/or when you are a little child. The poor animal. Actually, I don't think it is a bad thing to be sensitive and caring. I hope you will find a way to heal you (possible) past life wounds and trauma.
