I knew him before I was born again

lagrima

It wasn't MPD after all!
I usually don't post about my daughter publicly, but this is too big not to share. We don't talk a lot about reincarnation in our household, but we don't discourage or stifle any conversations brought up by children either. My daughter just turned 5.

So last night we are on the porch handing out candy. Two little boys come up to the house. The one dressed like Bob the Builder doesn't want to leave (even though his mother is waiting for him). My daughter runs up to him and says "I know you" The little boy says "no you don't. My name is XYZ" My daughter frowns and says "you don't remember me?". The little boy continued to talk about all kinds of things before his brother literally dragged him off the porch back to their mother waiting on the sidewalk. The entire time my daughter was inching close to him and touching his arm. :o

We think maybe they met at vacation bible school or go to school together. So, we ask daughter where she knows him from. She says (very matter of factly) "I knew him a long long time ago and he doesn't remember. But, that's okay because we hadn't been born again yet."

Grandma was freaked out and I just said. "Well, maybe some day he'll remember. But isn't it nice to see him again?" And she smiled and said "Yes! Now, let's go get some more candy mom!" I think I hid it well, but I was soooooo excited for her :D She was so happy. :)

What a wonderful experience. I wonder where they knew each other, if it was in another life or inbetween lives? :cool

How interesting! :)
I hope she gets to see him again and maybe he will remember then...
Does he live in your neighborhood?

No. He was not from our neighborhood. His mother had driven and parked her car alongside the sidewalk where several of the houses had lights on. It was so strange. I remember his brother's name was Braden, but I can't remember his name.

I am going to write it all down in a past life journal I keep for her so that one day, when she is older if he shows up again we will have the proof. ;)

Chelle- She just kept saying it was a long long time ago. She even said to my mother it was before she was "zero" years old. I love kid's perspective on things. So simple. :)

I hope your daughter gets to see him again!
Maybe he doesn't live too far from you...
kids are always surprising us, aren't they?!

What an exciting experience Angela! It will be interesting for you to see if their paths cross later on..

you never know, maybe they might be destined for each other when they grow up.
