I want to contact my former kids

Hello, first of all I am not a native english speaker. I am sorry If I have some mistakes.
I know who I was Im what I believe was my most recent past life.
I was part of the Nazis, I was german but died in the US. I know I had 3 kids. I died young, and I know the kids (know adults) are still alive, I am sure they dont need me anymore. God! they wont believe a word.
I am a 24 years old woman now. Their dad died a long time before my birth. I just want to see them. I feel this and wanna cry at the same time.
Well I just want to know how to get rid of these feelings, I know contact them is crazy.

Agreed that they probably wouldn't believe you, but if you're worried about them, maybe you could try just being really nice to them (if you know them in person. I'm not sure what your situation is). Maybe they'll feel that twinge of recognition, and at the very least, comfort.

Rest assured, though, that you'll still meet them again on the "other side." I don't know if it's much consolation.

Jenla, when I desperately want something that is out of reach or even unhealthy there is a process I go through that has really helped me to release the emotional strain and become free of the attached thought pattern. I'll try to put it clearly here, since a lot of it is instinctive. Feel free to ask questions if you don't understand.

1. Try to make the idea clear. You seem to have this already in your post, above.

2. List the positives and negatives both small and extreme, for and against the idea. The rule is that you can't assume someone's response.... so if one possibility is that "they won't believe me" you also have to put beside it "they will believe me" ... otherwise you are assuming what you can't know ... Take your time until you think you have a good outline of the greatest extreme of both. The worst case scenario and the best case scenario.

3. Now, what do you actually want to receive? Now that you understand the idea and its possible repercussions, it is time to think about WHY the idea is even attractive to you. Points 1 and 2 above will give you clues to this, which is why I put it third instead of second. Do you want to know you're right? Do you want to know them? Do you want to make sure they're okay? Do you want to prove to yourself that they are real? ... Whatever it may be. And then the emotion you think you would receive ... relief, love, etc.

4. Think about it from outside your emotions. Are you only controlled by a feeling, or are there practical reasons why this is important to you? Could this benefit others? Aside from the fact that it's outside the box for you, is there some value in it that makes it worth pursuing independent of its benefit to you?

5. Now that you know why you want it and have considered any additional, practical value, is there a way to get the result without going the route you outlined above? ...Say you wanted to be sure they exist, this is easy enough to do with research and not a bother to them.... If not, then move on.

6. Is it worth it to you to face the worst case scenario? Will that harm you or them irreparably? If the worst case scenario (for everyone) might still be worth it ... then act on it. Otherwise you'll just continue to frustrate yourself.

7. If not, then recognize the damage that could be caused as a real reason not to pursue the idea. Every time you start going back and forth, remember you've already thought it through. Don't give yourself permission to review unless new information arrives. Just remind yourself of the decision you made and the positive reasons why. "Because I care about myself and them I decided this is the right and healthy choice." (reasons: love, compassion, freedom, health, joy, valuing what you have now... etc. Whatever gift you wish to give to yourself or them by not acting that would be sabotaged by acting.)

From the time you start this practice, every time you worry or feel sad, this positive choice is now your mantra. You are no longer running away, but facing these feelings and making an honest decision. Eventually the emotions will die down and you will get out of the habit of thinking about it.

You will probably never get rid of those feelings. If you know how to contact them, my advise is to establish contact without saying anything, just as if it was a "this life " thing "You like Wiener Schnitzel on FB? Wow! so do I! How do you prepare it?" Hopefully, once contact is established, you are good acquaintances and all that, they will feel something, if they mention it then you can talk about reincarnation very subtly "Maybe we met in another life uh uh". If not, at least you' ll talk to them.

If you know where to contact I say contact, but don't mention reincarnation.

Mere Dreamer has plenty of excellent points to go through.

I went through something a bit similar, but not nearly as strong. I couldn't verify for sure who I was in a past life, but still thought it would be a good idea to do something nice for an elderly lady I would've known then, had it been true (as myself currently; I never mentioned past lives, because I doubt that would've gone over well!) She really was touched by it. She died less than two years later, but at least she went knowing she was loved and appreciated. I figured that even if it wasn't true and I was, in fact, nuts, at least something good came out of it.

I would say this feeling is something you have to live with personally. I cant see any way you would be able to keep absolutely totally quiet at all times about this if you were to make any sort of contact with them. If you did contact them, then I would say its inevitable that, at some point, you wouldn't be able to resist saying about this to them.

At that point their reaction could go anywhere between laughing at you on the one hand or believing you and then cross-questioning you as to whether you were QUITE QUITE sure you absolutely regretted having been a Nazi (even though it was in a previous lifetime) to the core of your being.

In this life I have had a German friend whose mother was in the Young Nazis years ago and the knowledge of that fact was more than my friend could live with. I have met her mother. Her mother was perfectly pleasant to me and even made me a gift specially. Now I appreciated that, but found it a bit difficult to disentangle what she had been in her youth from the person I met many years later. I know the effect she had on my friend. I know that many young people would have been pressurised into joining the Young Nazis, even though they might have disagreed with it. However, I struggled as to how to relate to this woman in the event (as I didn't feel I could ask her about that and she could have lied to me and said she regretted it, when really she didn't at all).

Just think how anyone now would think about having to try and relate to someone who admitted to having been a Nazi as an adult.

Please don't do it - for their sake.

By the time you add in that the vast majority of people in the Western World don't believe in reincarnation, then I think you would probably be setting yourself up for a fall big time if you pursue this.

If they remember their parents (they are the kids) they would know their parents were Nazis. The question is how do you contact a 75 old woman and explain exactly why you want to talk with her... especially if you two happen to live in different countries and have nothing in common, except you somehow know that her father went to the front in '44 and was captured by the Russians (or so.). She'll maybe think you are some kind of relative - if you are lucky!

Keep in mind that not everyone who joined the Nazi party in the 30's was a devout believer. If one wanted a good paying job, etc. you had to be a party member. Hitler was also a charismatic leader. Germany suffered greatly after the end of WWI. They were affected by the world-wide depression of the 1930's. Hitler promised he could make it all go away. And antisemitism was rampant throughout Europe long before Hitler and the Nazi's came along. They just took it a step further.

Hello Jenla...my heart is bleeding for you! One of my past lives ended ca. 1949-50 with a terrible murder and I left behind me a two? year old daughter. I was born into this life in 1959. When I remembered the day of my death in this past life, I realized that my daughter might still be alive...and through meditation was able to remember her name. In these days of internet, I located her...she is still alive! My heart jumped for joy, like the heart of any mother! And then the nightmare began...should I or should I not contact her. It took me 2 years to make my decision...I went deep inside of myself and asked what was my motivation? Was it to make her life better...or was it to calm an ache in me? And...in any “normal” situation I would never had remembered my past life...I decided not to open Pandora’s Box. I know that the connection that I have with this soul does not need to be confirmed by any earthly means...and we shall be together again, as it should be...

Jenla...this is my story...yours may be different...but think this out from the beginning to the end!

I have a movie that might interest you... "Yesterdays Children"...it is a true story of a woman who did remember children from a past life and did contact them. Well...it's a bit Hollywood, but it is a nice story. It's on you-tube...

As Oscar Wilde says, it's better to regret what we did rather than regretting what we didn't do. Your Pl children are not going to live forever. If you have your chance, use it.

Aelfgyva, that's amazing that you've located the person... It would be worth trying to see if there's a resonance... if somehow you can get in touch with the person and no need to reveal too much at first... heck I have current life relatives who do not know I exist whom I haven't contacted yet. And I don't know how to approach that, either!

How about using the "I am researching my family tree and came across you." You can find family tree information for free at your local library on ancestry.com or have a free trial if you choose.

That is pretty amazing for those who know the identities of their past life children! I was aware from memories of having a past life child. When I confirmed that I actually had a daughter it brought back a lot of feelings for me. I don't know the name of my child, but I often wonder about her in this life and that if I did know her identity, would I try to contact her again? I think there has been a lot of good advice so far in this thread. I agree with most of what Owl has to say, but only you can know in your heart what is the right thing to do.

Have you tried Facebook? At least you could see photos of them.

Really thank you all of you.

I am out of my town so I will reply quickly.

I wanted to share this with someone and all of you understand me, thanks.

I know I was the father of two girls and one boy. The boy was 17 or 18 when I died.

Now he is in his 50s. It feels kinda weird, my actual dad is older than him.

It's amazing to read you I am so happy for that.

I'll think about what I am going to do. I dont want to cause any pain to them.

Thanks again.
