I was her sister at least

It is strange how I recall these memories as if I have always had them. If I reach, I can almost touch them. But the more I recall they sort of fade. The timeline is confusing. The odd coincidences are a bit much. The fact that they rumored she escaped to France. The memories of the Irish Catholic Church, that I'm Irish Catholic and don't go to Church nor have done extensive research, honestly. These are vivid memories--and often come through a reflective of a person who did once exist, and still does.

We were daughters of eve/everything. There was 9 of us. We were descended from an Egyptian scribe, who pronounced Ishmael. The nine daughters in this cult were basically saints. But Mary rebelled. Mary spoke out. She refused to do as the male authorities said, and refused to cut her hair when she confessed to losing her virginity--but could not reveal her secret, that she had been led to the forest by a native tribesman who had impregnated her perhaps in order to get them off their land. No one knows that do they? He threatened to murder her bloodline if she told. So he was a "vision" by the angel. That was the first. We lived in a fertile isolated village. The house was white stone, but it wasn't a dome shaped house, the windows were circular, perhaps, holes cut out in the stone. I almost think there were glass windows. Enter the small, white, house. To the left is a mirror on the wall, to the right is a sofa, table, chair, directly ahead is the bedroom. I do not recall doors, just doorways but I am not sure. Like it was all connected. There was a pearl necklace that I think of as a rosary. It was Mary's necklace, she wore it always. Must have been her mother's. I don't recall her mother.

Then I recall Ireland, the church with the statue of Brigid in front of the tall Blue Stained Glass windows, like a Gothic Cathedral. The name King Edward, and the statues are removed because of this order. Then exile, tears, pain, child birth, I remember labor. The labor. Earlier I had the image of giving birth to a boy. A woman who reminded me of Mother Theresa, a nun, and she ushers him away to safety perhaps. I never saw him again. I had a daughter, and she was frightened to stay away. I met her when I was older, much older, and we sank on a boat. I was on a steam boat, though, so it was much later. I have many memories.

I don't know why, but it has suddenly made me think--people will think I'm lying. I come up with all these visions and there is no direct source. Names come to me in dreams. Like, all sorts of them--and then I invent names and they become what I called them. So. I also am somewhat psychic, in a sense- I can't read people's thoughts and I am forced to take medication for Bipolar. But I have dreams of events before they happen. I have premonitions, repeating dreams until I can direct them, change them, Change the future--destiny and save myself. the one I am having right now is about world war 3. It is the same dream.

Why 9? Who were they? Were they descendants of Egyptian royalty? Was Cleopatra my evil sister? Who stares at herself in that silver mirror and fans herself with peacock feathers while I watch behind the scenes as the world is ruined around her? I can't continue, it's too much. I am not all of them, but...there is a person--me--in all of them. How do I separate myself or individuality from all these people, especially since they are all women.

Aya Diva Aya Diva Aya Diva what does that mean?

What differentiates between a fantasy and reality?

If the spirit world can influence the physical world, then where are the spirits?

Lastly, why did God curse me to be born on Friday the 13th?

To make me ask this very question? Or to warn me of the reason I'm alive.

I have dreams of crossing the snowy ice bridge too.

Hi Gabrielle

Well, there is a lot to unpack there, isn't there?

Do you keep a journal? It's a very good way to keep things in order. You have several lives there already, so perhaps you could use a few different books, one for each life? That might help to try to clarify the timelines of what happened.

These all certainly sound like past lives to me. They seem quite vivid and detailed and emotionally charged.

Sounds like you were in some type of cult. Was that in Ireland too? With names like Mary and Ishmael, it sounds like perhaps some kind of early Christian cult? If there was a mirror on the wall, that makes it fairly recent, as those were only invented something like 400 years ago. Before that the wealthy used polished silver mirrors and the poor did without.

There were a lot of battles between protestants and Catholics in the old days - people were killed, statues were removed from churches - all that rings true. You could do some research and try to pin which King Edward it was and get an historical period with that information if that interests you.

The steam boat is a bit odd. Those were only around about 200 years ago. It's possible you have a few lives jumbled together, which is why I suggest starting to keep some journals on all this and try to untangle them.

God (however you conceive her) is not in the business of cursing people, let alone for what day they happened to be born on. I'm sure She has a lot better things to do with Her time, even though it is infinite.

Aya Deva means 'praise the goddess' in Sanskrit and is used in many Hindu prayers and chants in various forms. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deva_(Hinduism)

As to spirits, who's to say they are not all around us all the time? Certainly many cultures believe this. If you spend any time in Bali, you will start to believe it too! I think we just don't notice any more because we are always too busy rushing about, listening to loud music.

You might find this thread interesting on the subject of 'imagination' and 'fantasy' and all that, and how to tell the difference. Others also wonder about this. It's an older thread, but a good one. Imagination vs Fantasy

Is it possible the silver plated mirrors existed in Egypt in the time of Cleopatra and peacock feathers? It's a very vivid memory. Also, like I recalled the "news" of the death of this man, the King of Egypt, and it's weird. Memories, like people talking differently almost as if psychically. Not moving mouths.

Speaking with their eyes. Then, I don't know where it came from--just that he was stabbed with a poison tipped pen. And it made me sad. I was sad and no one else was. Not even my sister. Then I think, guessing here, that I was sad because he was my father too.

You brought up some interesting inconsistencies, such as that in the white house. Maybe that was Ireland or Whales? It was a white building, small, stone, we had mirrors, but there was a rosary. So maybe it was after, like the cult of Mary? Was there a cult of Mary? Also the father, he wore a wooden cross. Wait....the Celts. The Celts wore crosses didn't they?

But why do I keep thinking Jesus was a Celt? I also know that, before even learning--how that evil man, oh he must have been the Roman Emperor. I have a vision about it. But these are all easy to you know, sift in through collective insight. I don't who directly. I mean. I go to places, and I begin to touch things and have visions of their purpose. Like when I visited Monte Cello, but I had no memories of past lives, just felt the history come alive. I am getting slightly better at this. I can look at something, and know what it was used for--this kind of empathy.

I do recall being exiled to a church. A big stone church, a grey cathedral with tall blue stained glass windows and immaculate architecture. I know this is after Jesus died. Which makes no sense. Then I watch history channel and I see this or on youtube, and it confirms this crazy memory that I thought was obscure. But then to see it-- to find out an actual woman lived in a church, in exile, rumored to be related Mary by some. I recall writing in the book. Opening it, inscribing words about Sophia is not just seeing the light, because the light is wisdom and through our actions, we can enlighten the world. Something of that nature. That part which was possibly burned by the man in brown robes who confiscated my book and burnt pages, then accused me of heresy and turned it over to the authorities. I really vividly recalled this, but then I saw the photo of the man who burnt my book. The weird part is-- remembering something so vividly and then, having it there in front of you after you recalled it and then having all the pictures match.

They always are jealous...and everyone is always jealous of me for no reason. I can't seem to stop it. The more I compose myself the more they hate me. I may have guessed about the tribal man. I really have no memory of the tribal man. I do recall sitting in a stream, with my sisters, we all look the same! We all look the same so much it's kind of weird. Then I have this wooden comb. Then someone decides to cut their hair or act in defiance. What I don't like is how they all seem to be the same person. Like this one, again, I have a sister. She betrayed me- she accused me of cheating with her fiance. She was the one who cheated. She had a bracelet and the beads counted for all the men who you had bedded. Is that true? I have never heard of such a thing, so she stole my bracelet or something.

I can't believe that's what it means. This is the word that kept repeating in my head on paper when I asked about my past life. I thought it meant Jayadeva so I was researching about the Sanskrit Poet, but you're the second person who said it meant Goddess.

Yes. Jaya Deva means something similar to 'Ave Maria'. It means 'Hail to the Goddess / holiness'.

It seems to me that you have a lot of impressions coming from a lot of different directions and they are a bit jumbled. But, as I say, try to write it all out. Draw sketches of what you see. Make notes. One day, at a later time, when you read back over it, sometimes it will make more sense.

I humbly suggest that wooden crosses and rosaries are fairly straightforward Catholic symbols and in no way unusual things to associate with Ireland, which is a mainly Catholic country and has been for centuries. But what sort of cross is it you picture? Why not google and see if you can find a picture of something like it? In Ireland a church would often have an ornately carved wooden cross on it, and also they sometimes put them up on the roads, where there were little shrines and things.

Could it be that you were 'exiled' to a nunnery? That was not an uncommon thing to happen back in the day, especially if a girl was being 'wayward' and disobeying her father? People didn't really live in churches, but nuns certainly lived in Abbeys, which would have their own chapels. So if you are remembering a Church, with stained glass windows, and being in exile, writing in a book and being filled with all kinds of thoughts of 'holiness' and Jesus and Mary and so forth, that might have something to connect it to being a nun? It's just an idea. You know best what this is all about. With some time I'm sure it will become clearer and a bit less jumbled.

What I don't like is how they all seem to be the same person. Like this one, again, I have a sister.
Do you mean you keep seeing the same person, your sister, from one life to the next? Again, this is not uncommon. This happens quite a bit, that we will spend more than one life with the same person or group of people. They often also look a bit alike too, from one life to the next, especially the eyes.

Try to sort out the difference between what you actually remember very clearly and conjectures about what you think it might all mean. It would seem that you have a bit of a 'gift' for past life flashbacks, but I know it can be very confusing and even upsetting if you don't understand what's going on.

Well, they were not silver PLATED. They were actually silver, polished and oiled into a reflective surface. Silver was more expensive than gold, actually. Most people had bronze mirrors, if they could afford them. And, yes, the ancient Egyptians put peacock feathers in their fans. Such fans, both hand-held and ones on a large pole, were found in Tutankhamun's tomb.

But, just so you know, I see nothing here that indicates any of the Cleopatras (there were a bunch of them) specifically. Any royal wife or nobleman's daughter would have had access to such things.

Thanks for the information about the silver mirror and peacock feathers. I appreciate how empathetic you all are.

If a person has reincarnated and it's possible, then it may mean that we live more than one life. I really love the idea of reincarnation. It is interesting to me that the memories also reflect my ancestors travels. It makes me think how it's beautiful that our memories are never forgotten. That you could save someone's life only to live again and someone like St Theresa or a Buddhist peacemaker might continue their mission for love in humanity after dying in persecution.

I will take the advice of keeping separate books for lives which is an awesome idea! But it is difficult. I'm new to past life recall and happy they are finally coming through. I think by being as detailed as possible it will help and maybe not even dig deeper yet until I have them all written down. :)

Everyone reincarnates and everyone has had at least dozens of lives. More likely hundreds, possibly thousands. You don't have to be special, or good, or bad, or anything to reincarnate. It just happens. In other cultures this is just accepted as perfectly normal. It is mainly the newer, monotheistic religions that started removing it from their doctrinal beliefs, even though there are still a few references to it in the Bible. Many Indigenous cultures, the Inuit, the Siberians, the Australian Aborigines, and many more, as well as of course the Hindus and Buddhists, just accept that it is normal and having past life memories is normal. They don't find it in any way frightening or weird because it's just part of how life works as far as they're concerned. They think the idea of only having one life is weird (and explains a lot of why the gringos behave the way they do). :)

In my view, reincarnation is just a natural process like the changing seasons. There is nothing necessarily magical or mystical about it, any more (or less) than the whole of life is magical and mystical. Everything else in the universe moves in circles and cycles. Nothing ever disappears. It just changes and gets recycled. So, yes, we are in that way immortal. It's a lot to think about!

It is not unusual for people to reincarnate back into their family group, so if you have ancestors, for instance from Ireland, it is a possibility (though not a certainty) that you may have been part of the same family then too. Just something else to take on board!
