In the shadow of Vesuvious

Hi, I've not been very active on the forum lately. Apologies for not joining in discussions on threads but thought it would be good to share & hopeful to get feedback on a dream I had last night.

It was based in the village I grew up in this life (North West England). This isn't unusual, I have quite afew pl dreams based here I think it mainly refers to my family or childhood home.
Basically it was raining ash outside. It was unusual but didn't seem to be anything to worry about.
A person came to visit me. Someone I know in this life & I realise I must have known her in a pl. (She may have been my sister in the dream.) She was worried about the ash, she had a baby with her & was concerned about keeping the baby safe. I reassured it would be fine.
In the dream I'm living above what is the local bank with a a man who's my father. (I'm not sure of a significance in this but I worked with this person in a bank a number of years ago.)
She visits again saying the "rain" is getting worse. I look out and it's like raining fire from the sky.
When I wake realising a PL dream I immediatley presumed the fire of London.
Falling asleep again I go out into the rain which wasn't too bad at first but now it seems dangerous. It's hard to avoid and burns into the skin as it catches you.
The next image is of the main street running in fire, then ash. Last thing is the ash being blown by the wind, the street is deserted.
I wake up with Vesuvious and living in the shodow of it.

I'm quite sure it was a PL dream, but was it Vesuvious? Love to know what you all think. Thanksticonthumbshumbsup

Can you remember anything else about the scenery and architecture, people, clothing? This would maybe give you a better indication of the time and location. The chances of it being Vesuvius are very low when you take into account how many hundreds of thousands of people around the world have been killed by volcanic eruptions throughout history, Vesuvius is a very small part of that statistic.

Maybe a volcanic eruption in Iceland? That would be closer to northwest England or Scotland. Were there any major nearby cities that burned?

Thanks Chris, yes I think I needed to know how common volcano eruptions could be. As for architecture more often than not I remember in present day so the high street is prettty much as today. The main difference is the cobbles as the dust blew away. I presume I was observing in spirit by then.

The only other thing is my lower arms must have been bare to feel the heat of the ashes.

Argonne, I really don't think it was in the UK. The only other thing maybe relevant I'd been talking to someone who works in the cinema that day & telling them how annoyed I'd been when I missed Pompei last year.

Just one further quick dream since of the same woman I worked with walking along the street with her this life mother.

I imagine it's more likely a volcano eruption than fire, as was the fire of London.
