Infant reacts strongly to song

I came across this video on yahoo news and thought those here would be interested in it. It is so interesting because the baby is so young, by the looks of her I'd say under 6 months old (I don't know the exact age b/c the article didn't include that info).

Past life memories were the first thing that came to my mind when I saw that baby's reaction. The depth of her emotion is so strong. It seems like she is genuinely moved and not regular upset baby crying. Her mother has a lovely voice. How long ago was that song recorded?
 
This story is going to be featured on Good Morning America this morning, so if you're interested and see this message in time, tune in! I found out the baby is 10 mos, she looks younger than that to me, but sometimes it is hard to tell with babies. I'm not sure how long ago this was recorded, perhaps they will have more info on GMA today.
 
I had the same situation with my oldest daughter when she was 10 months. In her case it was "Can't Help Lovin' Dat Man" by Jerome Kern. She went on to lose her husband at a young age in this life. I think it lends credence to pre-planning. It was like her "infant" soul knew what was ahead.

Wikipedia says the song was first recorded in 1988.


I agree, that is a very emotionally moved baby - there's some sort of connection with the song. Or the feeling.
 
"Que Sera, Sera" was recorded by Doris Day, and was part of a movie she made with Jimmy Stewart - a Hitchcock film called "The Man Who Knew Too Much. The movie was released in 1956, and Day had a hit record with it. Maybe it's a different "Que Sera, Sera", and I am too old to know it?
 
I think they were talking about the other song, "My Heart Can't Tell You No".

Sorry, I mixed up your name with the song. That's what i get from answering posts on the "fly". Oh, well, it's a "Song Sung Blue", anyway.cover face
 
Watch the parts of the song that really get to the baby. That soul is really missing someone.


The thought that came to my mind was the perhaps that the situation in the song happened in a past life of that baby. Maybe a suicide reborn?
 
I had heard about this but hadn't watched it... I expected the baby to cry normal baby tears. Wow. You could see even before the tears that the song struck a chord.


I actually wondered if the baby knew the mother in another life or something? She seemed to be trying to reach to her. But maybe it's the description giving me that interpretation. (Or normal baby behavior amidst the unusual.)


ETA: I watched a second time and noticed baby smiled at first... I wonder if it's a bittersweet, rather than sad, association. :(


Oddly, I also sometimes wouldto react strangely when my Mom sang, except it... bothered me. Still have no idea why. It wasn't even a particular song, I don't think.
