Is this a past life?

Hi there, I would like to introduce myself, my name is Christina. For years I've wondered about our purpose in life and why we feel the way we do and perhaps how we make decisions that effect the course of life and direction of our future.

For sure there are elements in my life where I have had to learn how to understand and deal with but there also lots of things that perhaps are not so obvious.

I will try and quickly explain my situation and how I came about finding the information I have. This is for sure a condensed version, please pm if you have any direct feedback or if I could expand anything for clarity.

I'm half Dutch, I have such a strong connection and feeling of comfort with my Dutch side (both culturally as well as physical location in particular the North Sea Coast) it's really interesting. I work in the aviation industry, I absolutely love flying, travelling. Obviously as part of my career and safety training I have studied accidents however, personally I continue studying various accidents with fascination. Anything and everything on "Air Crash Investigation" I already know without even watching the programme right down to all the contributing elements.

Years ago I checked the accident database to see if I could link something up with the above information around my birthday or the nine months prior the result was nothing. A girlfriend of mine was recounting her PL experiences and encouraged me to look further back. What I found intrigued me to no end.

In the early 60's a flight from from New York crashed outside Brussels unfortunately killing everyone. The links started to appear, the registration of the aircraft are my birth name initials, the day and month of the first flight and accident date are extremely important dates for me in my life as is the last two digits of the serial number.

This next part hit me like a brick wall, when doodling I normally draw (for whatever reason) a tall thin "S" with curvy tips, even just a few months ago I must of been in a meeting or something, I was drawing this and thinking to myself "this is the way it's supposed to be". Researching the accident, I was stunned to find the "S" is the logo that is on the tail, the nose and subsequent to my research, I believe also on the crew name tags.

I believe I was perhaps culturally flemish and of course a female crew member on this flight. Furthermore, I believe I have a purpose in life now to work on flight safety and do my best for others and ultimately prevent tragedies such as this from occurring. My career has led me in this direction, I'm sure there is some kind of guidance involved here.

I have a substantial amount of information on the accident, I was able to find out that there were two stewardesses on board, both with the same first name. One was older than the other, I'm particularly interested with the 50's as a time period with the rockabilly culture as well. Narrowing it down I was able to identify the younger of the two and subsequently her home town and address. Her hometown is just outside Brussels on one of the only existing highways at the time linking Oostende on the coast with Brussels. The town it self would serve exactly what I would wish for in my life now, all the facilities with events and shopping yet a nice cosy small house on the edge looking out in to the country. That is exactly what I saw on Google Earth, I'm sure of a connection.

I have never had any kind of PL regression to help me understand these elements and perhaps make a connection.

I would appreciate any feedback from others with similar experiences.

Thanks,
~C::o.

Hello Christina and very welcome to the forum!

Thank you for sharing your intriguing experience. I found it very fascinating to read and would love hear more .

You write that you haven't tried regression. Would you be interested in giving it a go? I'm not going to disencourage you from researching, but you may lead yourself on, if you know what I mean. Even though everything points in that direction, what lead you to believe that you were involved in a crash? Is it "just" intuition (which is of course good enough:)) or have you had dreams, flashes or other things pointing you in that direction?

Hello Chrissy

It is fascinating isnt it when we are so drawn to something in history and we suspect a past life. My advice is to do a regression, either with a qualified therapist or self regression if you feel comfortable with it. I have found that it was necessary for me to " relive" some elements of those past experiences in order to find resolutions to my questioning.

Reading, visiting the old haunts etc just did not bring that peace to my soul like actually bringing up the memories and having a look at the connections throughout my own history. In order to go ahead with future plans we sometimes need to go back and tidy up our feelings about the past.

There are often elements of the past life concerning things that will only show themselves with a regression. It can be a wonderful way of moving on.

Hi Chrissie!

Welcome to the Forum! Thank you for sharing your story with us, it is really interesting!

Like Sunniva suggested, I too would like to ask if you have ever considered a regression? You seem to have very detailed information to work from. And, of course, it is incredibly tempting to research and try to find validation for your experience. But in your case it seems also quite irresistible to try to use some techiques that might help you learn more about this past life of yours.

Have you looked at the FAQ's section of the Forum? Here are some links to thread that I thought you might like to read:

- Learning about your past lives

- Regression Q and A

- Audio CD's for past life regression

Have you ever tried any of these, or similar techniques? I would love to have your thoughts on this!

Again, welcome! :)

Thanks for your kind responses, you're all so sweet..

I agree, the next step is a PL regression, I'm incredibly excited about learning and perahps feeling experiences of past. Honestly, I'm also a little nervous about the aspect of hypnosis, it was only last night on tv people were clucking like chickens on a stage.

I have seen a few documentaries which are so totally intriguing, there are a few more to watch as well as some more reading for me to do over the next few weeks. I'll report back.

Hi Chrissy, welcome to the forum - :)

Thanks for sharing this here, it is very interesting and it does show some of the hallmarks of a past life memory.

I would agree with the others that maybe a regression is the way to go if you want to find out more, but there's nothing to worry about, you won't be running around clucking like a chicken or anything like that - :D

Regression differs from hypnosis in that the regressionist will only act as a guide and will try to bring memories to the surface that are already there. A hypnotist will plant suggestions into your subconsciousness, good if you want to quit smoking, or lose weight etc. On the other hand the regressionist will make no suggestions of any kind that could influence your experience....you are the one who is doing the remembering, the regressionist is there to guide and help steer you in the right direction.

The only thing I will say is to never go into any regression, (whether doing it alone or with a professional) with any expectation. I'm sure that many people go into a regression expecting to have all the details of a past life revealed to them, but that expectation is just putting pressure on yourself and can actually hinder you.

Let us know what you decide to do and keep us updated.

Hi Chrissy,

Sorry I'm replying so late. In this life I am working on aircraft safety so needless to say I find your memory fascinating! Welcome aboard. :)

Hello Chrissy, Thank you for sharing that...how interesting! Your path of discovery seems so "right." As a person who has gone through regression, I would highly recommend it, but research it first and find a certified, credible therapist. I look forward to hearing more about your journey and wish you well in the discovery.

Our soul's journey has purpose and meaning, may you find it and learn form it.

Chrissy: What a fascinating account! First let me echo the welcome that others have given you. Secondly I also think you should attempt regression without expectations. Your fascination with aviation in general and with this particular accident sound to me that it is very probable that this accident is connected to a past life in a very strong way. Regression will be a good way for you to explore this further. However, my advice is for you to enter the regression with an open mind. You may be right that you were this stewardess. But it is also possible that you were the pilot, a passenger, or even a person who was far away but affected by the crash (say a person whose grandchild died in it.) I say this not to discourage you, but rather to encourage your exploration. For me at least, if I enter a regression thinking I know what I am going to find, I find nothing. Part of the process, is letting go and letting your memories come to the surface. That having been said, let me reaffirm that every thing you have said convinces me that this accident is strongly connected with your past life.

Keep us posted. I for one am eagerly awaiting to know what you find out.
