Izabelle's Birth

Several nights ago, my two year old raised up from the bed in the middle of the night and very excitedly started saying, "Mommy, Mommy I broke your tummy, I broke your tummy, I peed on you, Mommy I peed on you!" Then she was fast asleep again. I went back to sleep pondering on this outburst. Later in the morning, Izabelle pulled up my shirt and repeated what she had said during the night. It dawned on me what she was talking about. I then showed her the scar where she was born by C-section. I confirmed what she was trying to tell me and she had this happy satisfied look on her face that I had "understood" what she was telling me. I told her the doctor fixed it back together. She immediately injected, "It was two doctors, Mommy, two!" She was right. It was the surgeon and my baby doctor.

I am convinced she was telling me about when she was born.

I recall an instance before she just learned to grasp things. I was looking down at her on the bed and all of a sudden she reached up, with her hands on each side of my face, and pulled my face so close to hers that our noses touched and she was looking at me like she was looking into my soul. Very serious was her expression. It made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. In that instant, I KNEW we KNEW each other. Then in a flash the moment passed.

I am enjoying really listening to her now that she is learning to talk. Maybe I will get some more glimpses into the "past".

I just wanted to share this. This is a good place for this. I just finished Carol's book "Return from Heaven". I enjoyed reading it.

Hi Melody, welcome to the forum, thanks for sharing Izabelle's story, I wonder if she remembered her birth from an 'outside' perspective, before her soul entered her body? She certainly sounds like a special young lady, so it would be a great idea to start a journal and write down anything unusual that she says in the future, it might come in really handy one day if you are trying to fit all the pieces together. She's very lucky to have a mother like you with whom she can talk about these things not to have everything dismissed as her imagination.

In case you haven't already done so, you might find this thread interesting to read: The Four Signs of Children's Past Life Memory

I'm glad you enjoyed reading Carol's book, do you know about her other book: Children's Past Lives: How Past Life Memories Affect Your Child? You can read the first chapter here.

I hope you enjoy your time here, and please share if Izabelle remembers any more won't you?

Hi Melody and welcome! That's so interesting to hear about your daughter and her birth. How old is your daughter now?

My older son, when he was about 8-9, told me he remembered before he was born. He told me that it was dark and crowded and he didnt' like it. He said he was fed through a "twisted chain" and that it wrapped around his throat and choked him. Sure enough, during labor, the cord had been wrapped around his throat.

My younger son, 3, does what you described, pulling your face close and just LOOKING. Mine crawls on my lap, puts his hands on my face and says "look at me mommy" and then puts his face real close and just LOOKS. You're right, it sure does make my hair stand on end. I know we've been together before but I'm not sure how yet. I don't get that sense with my older son and I wonder sometimes if this is our first life together.

Let us know if your daughter says or does anything else. It's fascinating to watch it all unfold. :) I'd love to hear more.

I know exactly what you mean! My youngest baby did that too. The intensity of the moment is dazzling! I can still feel it now - how completely drawn into him I was at the moment!

How interesting that your daughter was able to remember her birth! She's incredibly young too! Did she ever made any other peculiar remarks?

Again, welcome! I hope you enjoy the forum!

That's amazing!

Welcome to the forum, Melody. :)

I'm glad you told Isabelle that everything was all right, the doctor fixed it. I wonder if she was feeling guilty? Please be sure to let us know if Izabelle has any more amazing memories!

Thanks for comments

I enjoyed reading the replies to Izabelle's Birth. Thank you guys!

Izabelle will be 3 on Sept. 5. So she is still in the sentence forming stage. She can sure crack me up with stuff she is putting together.

Yes, I am keeping a log of sorts of things she says that might be related to past lives. I tuck these notes into a scrapbook bag for putting in her scrapbook.

You all will be the first to know when she reveals more! LOL

I haven't read Carol's other book yet. My Mom just happened to have this one "Return From Heaven" on her bookshelf. My mother has studied everything from Gnostic to UFO's and has quiet the library of books. Since we live in the bible belt south, you just can't get these kinds of books around here so her stash is great since I only live 12 miles away. I have read a lot of past life books.
