Hello Dr. Semkiw:
Even though I was raised a Methodist (and a Christian) I cannot understand why modern day Christians have a problem with Reincarnation, to my way of thinking, Reincarnation fits neatly into Christianity like a hand into a glove.
I can understand that the early Christians leaders might have had a problem with Reincarnation because it threatened their power over the people, up to the point where they tried to remove any references in the Bible.
So today, I surmise that Christians continue to dismiss Reincarnation because it doesn't follow the generally accepted dogma, instead of thinking on their OWN with the mind that God gave them and realize that Reincarnation DOES NOT, in any shape or form, contradict the Bible.
In fact, with the scripture left in the Bible, it clearly IMHO supports the concept of Reincarnation as a viable belief system that is a Brother to Christianity, and has been ever since the beginning of Christianity!
