just wondering

Hello,

I have read some of the other posts about a child being 'a natural' at something. What I am wondering is that could a child get something like his/her athletic ability from memories of a past life? Things such as knowledge and ability to play a sport.

My son has kicked around a soccer ball since he was 15 months old...he used both feet to kick with. I realize that children normally don't discriminate between left and right until they are 3 yrs. old, but he handled the ball so well at such a young age.

Unfortunately, there was nowhere for him to play soccer until this year. He has started playing soccer now for a league in our town. He is now six and still loves the game.

He is also in martial arts and in baseball and he LOVES to run. The only complaint I have is that he sometimes doesn't listen to instructions, but when the time comes, will actually do what was instructed. Is this because he already knows and is bored by the instructions? For a child how sometimes doesn't pay attention to instructions, he appears to know what is being expected and catches on quickly.

I really just wanted to know if this is genetics (as his father and myself are into sports), from our encouragement or from some past memory he has.

thanks!

:)

Welcome to CPL. Mayflower

It does seem that your son is reliving past life memories. Has he ever spoken to anyone about before? Maybe you should try talking to him about his past life, or lives. He may not have been a famous sports figure, he may just be someone who was into all those sports, and carried all that over to this lifetime.

Thanks for the imput!

He has talked about other things that kind of make me go...hmmm?

Like his interest in rocks...loves them and has since he was a toddler. He used to sell them in our yard to people who came to the house.
And he always talks about working...he wants to get a job and start making money....I think that is a little beyond a six year old's normal thoughts.

Thanks again for your input!
