Little Quirks

A couple of quirks i have are that i don't like being stared at and when i'm in a meeting at work feel uncomfortable when the spotlight is on me. Another if this counts is that i prefer to dress scruffily and hate dressing up smart, i've often worn jeans in the past with holes in them. Whether these are past life related i'm not sure, would be interesting to fine out :)

I have to sleep in something. My hubby sleeps naked but I can't. Even if we 'got busy', afterwards I put something on. I am not a prude AT ALL. I am the opposite, but I feel very vulnerable sleeping naked. I could walk around naked during the day as long as I am awake. I think this could be PL related. Maybe I was violated in some way? I know I haven't been in this life.

I don't care which side of the bed I sleep on, as long as it is the side closest to the door. In hotels, I could sleep left or right side, depending on the location of the door. My poor husband just sleeps where he is allowed to.

I can't stand anyone being behind me. My kids sometimes creep up behind me and stand there. Even though they aren't doing anything, I can't be comfortable. One of us has to move.

When I go to restaurants, I have to sit in the seat that has the best view of the entrance. I can't relax and enjoy the meal unless I can see the door.

When I yawn, I yawn spectacularly. Dramatic body movements and loud. No one within a 1 km radius can miss it! I didn't know I did this, but it's true and apparently I am famous for it.

Woah, cool to hear unusual habits may be past life related, I never thought of it before. Here's some of mine:

-I have to have my bedroom door wide open at night because it makes me feel safer rather than closed like most people (escape exit).
-Every new room/house I go into I plan out my escape exits just in case lol
-I have to have all the curtains in my house closed, natural light and people outside bother me.
-Whenever someone else makes me a drink (especially someone I actually trust) a part of me wants to check for poison.
-I frequently change my handwriting style...I don't know why.
-I cannot stand being in the cold, especially cold baths, I actually cry tears of rage when my bath water doesn't turn hot enough.
-I don't like mirrors facing me or dolls/statues looking at me when I'm about to sleep. It really disturbs me.
-If I see a raven I always watch it to see if its watching me.
-I also have no problem walking around in my underwear in front of people, even if they are not that close.

And lastly, I keep my TV remote next to me in bed and always pick it up like its a gun when someone opens the door lol (I always think of cowboy movies when I do that).

Could be? Things like this are often a clue.

My Quirks are:

- All doors should be closed (rooms, closets), if a room has no door there's no problem, I can be pretty neurotic about it
- I hate to jump in an empty swimming pool, with no other swimmers. (But when I do jump, no panic attic will follow)
- I hate dark water
- I hate deep water
- I slightly panic when I have to enter a room where the entrance is so low that I have to bow my head to enter
- I will never enter a place or room which has no easy way in and out (small doors or narrow openings)
- The idea of exploring mines, tunnels while crawling through narrow openings really freaks me out. Just thinking about it is enough to panic. As long as I can walk it's ok. I don't mind being underground, that's not the problem.

Some of mine:

I will not go to sleep if the closet door is open. It has to be completely shut. I will get up and shut it, if I have to.

I cannot have anything tight around my neck. No turtle necks, chokers or scarves. Only exception to the rule is a loose scarf in the winter.

I won't go in deep water, over my head. I can swim and just won't do it.

I won't go in a public swimming pool, where there is a lot of people. I don't trust people around me in a pool.

Going though narrow openings, while crawling is a NOPE. I can make myself do it, but I really don't like it.

I really don't like having photos of people or paintings with faces hanging on the wall, especially if they're aimed in my direction. They make me feel awkward for some reason. I keep family photos tucked away in albums because of this.
