My 3 yr old daughter

I just came upon this forum because I decided to do some research. In the past few weeks, my daughter who just turned 3, has made a couple of strange comments (the same comments but a number of times each). She has said "Before I was a newborn I had wings and I floated everywhere" as well as "I used to have a different Mom". She says these things so matter- of-factly that it doesn't seem at all like she's making it up. I have started reading the other posts and they are very interesting. I 'm just not sure where to go with these statements she keeps making.

Thanks!

Heather

Hi Heather, welcome to the forum. Have you read any of Carol's books? They have a lot of information in them about what you just posted. Also, please take time to read our FAQ section and go from there!

She is three...an age that many children start being able to express themselves verbally and the past life memories are still 'fresh'. I think it would be a good idea to keep a journal of your daughters comments. Maybe more will surface in time, and then later a journal could help to put it all together.

It is interesting that she talks about a floating feeling !

Believe her

According to child psychologists, kids don't try to lie until they are 5 or 6 - and even then many don't lie until later. Your daughter is being truthful to the best of her ability.
