My daughter who is almost 6, told me a story so convincing not just once but twice, as we passed the same area. This was when she was between the ages of 4-5 yrs. I am driving her to daycare and on the way there is this put-put golf to the right with this waterfall and rocks and etc. We had never been there we just drive by it. She didnt know it was a put put golf.
Well, I truly believe she may have remembered an experience from a past life? I mean, first I over looked it when she told me this story and then a few days later, she mentioned it again... same drive by place.. so It just wasnt as though she would make this up. It was very -no big deal like in the way she told me and that it was like it just happened say amonth ago in her memory...
She fell and died and I was her new mommy. I mean I cant remember her exact words, I dont think she said she died but she drowned in the water, she fell off the rocks... just like that and it was said twice as she pointed to the waterfall.
I had asked a few questions the 2nd time. She got me thinking and believing etc. New mommy I said, wow..
Well the thing is, she was always afraid of the water and still is, finally this summer she just started getting over the fear but on her own time. We got her into swimming lessons, but she has never been a fish in the water, perhaps she is slowly forgetting the memory and also just us encouraging her to learn to swim to not drown its helps...
what doesnt fit is when she was a baby I dont ever remember her being afraid of baths or crying too much? perhaps she was too young as an infant to remember and all it took is that ...
familiar looking place at the put-put golf with the water fall to trigger her memory. She has not brought it up since. Its been over a year and we still drive by it.
