My daughter's past life?

I am new to this forum..so I hope I am doing this right, but I do have a question that maybe I can get some feedback on.
I just recently finished Childrens past lives, and think it's one of the best books Iv'e ever read. It also braught up some ideas in my mind. She is almost 9 years old, and for the past 3 years, she has woke up about 3 times a week in the middle of the night, and wakes me up talking in a strange language, (it actually sounds more like gibberish) I have always dismissed it, thinking she was just sleep walking. She never remembers it in the morning. But after reading Carol's book, I thought that maybe by relaxing her, I could find out what was happening and help her to sleep better at night. So last night I got her relaxed, and before I could do any past life regressing on her, she started talking, she said her sister's name was Sarah and her Brothers name was Max. (she currently has one baby brother named Ben) Then she got really upset, and said someone was trying to kill her. So I asked her to tell me what was happening and a few other probing questions, and she wouldn't talk and braught herself out of whatever relaxation she was in. She immeditaly told me her head hurt and showed me the exact place where. She stayed very upset for about 45 minutes. Then she tells me shes afraid of "big planes" and and doesn't want to drown. But just last summer she flew to her Grandparents by herself from Utah to Texas, and she was the best underwater swimmer in her class. It took 2 hours to calm her down and get her to sleep. When she woke up today she seems fine, and went off to school, and when I asked her if she wants to talk about it tonight she said yes. And this brings me to my question...What do I do from here?!? I'm sorry this is so long, but I also don't know whow eles to tell it without the whole story. If anyone has any ideas, Im VERY open to suggestions! Thanks for taking the time to help!

Welcome Tara,

My thoughts would be - tonight..when your daughter wants to talk about it..let her do most of the talking. Try not to influence her as much as possible. When you do ask questions, ask her how she felt- ( how she feels -what emotions surface for her.

Also encourage her to watch her dreams and keep a journal. She's old enough to write. In the thread Soul Moments -which I posted - toward the end we are discussing doing meditations WITH our children. This helps to validate their experiences and allows the adult to possibly see what their child is experiencing in order to help them.

My first thoughts..I'll be back later.

Namaste,

I want to suggest that we consider beauty as a transformative experience -- one that awakens the unconscious, and leads us to one another.
