My daughter's story

When my daughter was very young she started making statements that I first dismissed.
According to friends and family she watched too much TV.
There were too many statements and reactions though and I realized that she was reincarnated.
Before she was three she made simple statements like “ When I was older I smoked”
“They took my children away from me”
When she was three, we made a trip to Grand Junction CO. While we were there, my daughter started making statements that scared me. She said:
We need to visit Vicky while we are here, she lives in the big yellow house.
She went on to say that when she was bigger her name was Linda and that her boyfriend, Johnny had stabbed her in the shower, and she didn’t know why she died.
We stopped at McDonalds for lunch, as we were sitting there, a woman walked by and my daughter seemed to go into some kind of a trance. I asked her what was going on, she
Said “ That is Becky, she is all grown up.”
The whole trip became real strange as we left the area and my daughter started to cry because we had not stopped to visit Vicky.
This was our only trip to Grand Junction, we had not been there before, and I knew no one there. After we left, I thought about checking into the information she gave me, but it scared me to think that she had been murdered and “Johnny” may have not been caught.
My daughter is now 30, but the whole story stays with me to this day.

wow. that was a very interesting experience it sounds like you've had! It must have been very exciting and scary at the same time. Have you talked to your daughter about this before? Does she believe in reincarnation as well? It would be interesting to hear more about her life.
Oh, and btw, welcome to the forum.:)

Hi gaylel,

Does your daughter remember saying this now? If I remember correctly, Child Welfare Services in America did not remove a parent's children from them until the mid to late 60's and then only if things were really severe.

It would be interested to explore any murder in that town of a Linda by a Johnny. It might not be too hard to do with the internet.

Interesting, i was looking online and found a big murder mystery in grandjunction where a Linda Miracle was murdered in 1975...your daughter is 30? when was she born? but the woman as shot, along with her 2 children, but heres the link. I was a little confused by the whole story.

http://www.kenbotham.com/newspaper articles/october12,1975.htm

hmm now i was reading, and there was also a Linda Benson who was brutally stabbed with her daughter in 75 as well...

"July 25, Linda Benson, 24, and 5 year old daughter, brutally stabbed to death. She knew Pat Botham, Linda Miracle, having been friends with Linda since High School, drugs involved.

Early August, Linda Benson's younger sister is killed in Aspen. She dealt extensively in hard narcotics."

Okay, now I am freaked out. My daughter was born in Feburary 1976.
Said she smoked when she was older. Had kids, and a boyfriend named Johnny. Estranged from her husband. Boyfriend possible. You are so good, I have tried to research
this but never found anything. Great research.
What a mess of a life she was living if it was her.

Some lives are very messy. Life is messy.

Sometimes they seem less messy when we explore the past connections. No doubt she had all sorts of karma with this Johnny chap - and probably still does! :)

So, have you spoken about this with her? Perhaps it would frighten and upset her. I wonder who "Becky" was?

Well done Hippy16. Good sleuth work.

wow she was born almost exactly 9 months after this linda woman died...wow..

any updates on this story? how would your daughter feel about doing a regression. there are links here to download regression cds, if the curious girls site is back up.

William Buhlman's Original OM cd

I highly recommend it for meditation purposes. :D He also has other cd's available including "Exploring Your Past Lives."

I also found this to do with the same group of murders by searching on "Linda Benson" and "Grand Junction" and "murder".

The writer is suggesting that perhaps the murders were blamed on the wrong guy. He says they were all pinned on Botham's husband, Ken, although the evidence was very circumstantial:

http://www.kenbotham.com/overview.htm

"Grand Junction area citizens were heard to say after Botham's arrest, 'it sure had put a stop to the murders'. It had not..."

A mystery indeed. Spooooky. Hope this does not give you nightmares gaylel. Remember, it all happened a long time ago to a 'different' person. However, if it is all 'real' it is no wonder she remembered such a shocking incident so clearly.

What a shock to remember being murdered as a child!! It's worth checking if your daughter shows any memory or interest in it! It's precise and clear so it might hit her harder. Just ask her and see further according to it or perhast out of personal interest!;)
