My french daughter

We were sitting in a restaurant discussing the days' events and my daughter mentioned her history class. She said, the British burnt the White House. I said yes, that was the War of 1812. She said, that was 6 years before I was born. I said, really, where were you born? She replied that she was born in France but moved to Philadelphia when she was young and then moved to Washington DC. I asked her if she ever got back to France and she told me that yes, when she was an old lady to see the eiffel tower when it first opened. Even when she was an infant she was very fussy about what clothes she wore - she is still very fasion conscious which she attributes to her Paris background. In reality, she is 11 and was born in Pittsburgh.

I am so grateful for this board - it makes me feel like less of a nut. I am glad to see that people recognize their husbands because I have just recently done so. I can remember our life together, but it wasn't very long ago. He is actually the reason that my marriage in this life split up. In our prior life he loved me so deeply and treated me so kindly that my husband in this life could not compare. We lived on a dead end street. Our house faced the trees on the other side of the road. We were poor but had each other. On occasion we would walk to town to take in a show on a Saturday night. We had a vegetable garden and would can for the winter. We had no children even though we were married 7 years. We made love every night of those 7 years. I can still see him above me holding onto the iron bedstead so that he wouldn't put his full weight on me. He worked as a mechanic and would walk to work every day. He saved up and bought a white Ford pickup with a three speed on the column, but I don't remember what happened after that. I only remember riding in that truck a few times and then I died when I was 27. I have no recollection of how, nor do I remember it being very painful. I was just gone....he has darker hair in this life and so do I - we are co-workers and have such a good rapport - we read each other's minds on a regular basis. I figured it out in a bolt of lightning one day. Another co worker who did not know us asked if I was his wife - we both paused frozen - wanting to say yes but realizing that it wasn't the truth but since then I think of him as my husband - he is married and that's okay, I'm just glad that I found him again.

wow, another fellow pittsburgher lol.

very interesting, how did you remember your memories? just remembering them, or regression? very interesting, i always thought it would be cool to meet people i knew in my past life. so far i only did one regression, and my husband i didnt care for, nor was i very close to my duaghter. my mother i loved, i at first thought she was my mother in this life, but now im not sure. that was in the 1900s-1940s about.

in my life during the 50s-60s-70s-till 1986 i assume, i feel there is a strong romantic connection during that life, but i only have one memory. me at a school dance about 63 or 64 and im 15 and dancing with a girl with curly hair and a white dress. i have slicked back hair. but i have no memories of myself as a hippy, just i have a strong connection to that time.

interesing story about your duaghter too. when did the eiffel tower open i wonder? so she was born 1818? and as an old lady she would be lets say about 50 or 60, the year would be around 1868-1878. hmm interesing, its odd she still has memories being 11, well i guess its not that odd since many of us still have memories.

edit- ok i checked it out, and the eiffel tower was built in 1889, so she was right she would have been 71. WOW does she remember anything else from that life? such as names?

Hi Linda - your daughter sure recalls a lot of details, and they are extremely fascinating. But you both recall a lot! Was the other day the first time she gave you so much information or had she said other things at other times too?

Great stories
Ford went to column shift in 1940. Three speed manual weren't very common after the early 70's.

Is your past life husband around your age this time too?
Then maybe you both passed over at the same time - otherwise, he might have lived his past life until today, or recently?
