My sister had a neice for me, two weeks ago. I knew she'd be so special to me, because my other neices are only 8 and 10 years younger than I am. I really didn't get to bond with them like I would have had I been older.

I was the first one to see her, besides her parents. My sister told me her proper name and I shortened it immediatly and started calling her "Ally". Before I left to see her, I told a freind of mine how much I have always loved the name "Abby." The two names are pretty close.
As soon as I saw her, a kissed and hugged her and told her who much I loved her. She is such a little thing and weighs only 6lbs now! My son really loves her too. He thinks she is precious. He's right! Anyhow, when I was visiting and anyone but me had her, she'd get fussy and cry. As soon as I held her she'd get cozy and fall asleep. She would only feed well with her mother when I was in the room too. I felt drawn to her and loved the feeling of holding her, like she was mine. And her face, she looks SO familiar to me. I could sit with her for hours and just stare. Another thing, I know that when babies want to be fed, they open their mouths and search for something. She only roots around when I hold her and I of course pass her off to "mom".

I know that some people feel that same family
reincarnation is rare, but I have also heard that we "keep" our own. A parent may be a daughter and so on. Also that our past enemy could be a family member now and we have to work towards securing a positve relationship with them.

I was wondering if she could be a family member or even one of my own from a past life.

Thanks

Karen

I have herd that it is not a common thing to be born again into the same family.....but..........here is where it started for my family and this is what caused me to look ferther into past lives. when my little brother was born he looked just like my uncle who had died at a very young age(23) from brain cancer. my brother now at age 15 asks questions of how he knows of things and places he is just doing or seeing for the first time. it has become quite aparent to my family that he was indeed my uncle. all therw his life he has looked just like the uncle in every way and now that i think about the birthmark thing from below it makes sence because my little brothers birthmark is a huge bruise like spot on his head... also i belive i am faceing the same thing with my 6 year old daughter, i had a great aunt who died at age 26 and my daughter has expressed things to make myself and my grandmother(the auns sister) to believe she is indeed my aunt... also she has called my great grandmother (the aunts mother) her other mommy from along time ago... ..

i do not know a lot about past lives and all of that just the little i have dabbled into it so i hope this helped your question in some way...

also if any one has any insight on what i have stated please email me at andreasownlittleworld@msn.com

Thanks for the input.

I believe that we keep a lot of our own 'family' when one passes on. I asked the question too, because I feel that some people think that it is rare.

Thanks for writing your experiences down, it is interesting to read. I hope you find some answers too.

Take care,

Karen

Hi Nancy! Congratulation to your family on the new little bundle of joy My first and only thought was "it couldn't be your late, great-aunt (the one that you said 'hi, how are you' to in the mall), could it?

Hope you're having a great day. Take Care, -Kathy.

When I was passing word around about Carol's new book Return From Heaven I heard from several people who told me that it is a common belief among the Asatru (Pagans who follow the old Norse gods) and from at least one Native American Lady who said that the only place she'd ever heard of same family reincarnation was from the elders and shamans in her tribe. So my take is that same family reincarnation is a more common belief than people think, and if it is being taught, then people must have a reason to believe it.

There is no such thing as too many books. Too few bookcases can become a problem, however.

It would seem logical, when the time comes for me to incarnate again, that I would wish to choose to be with the ones I love. I am quite sure this is the case far more often than the contrary.

Kathy,

I really don't think that she has any connection to my aunt. But who knows, right? She has a lot of character in a face so little. Her eyes seem to "follow" for my voice, and I know she is too young to do that, but she seems to search. Thanks for the congrats! I am so happy and blessed to have her. What a wonderful little person she is!

Take care,

Karen

I feel it is important to remember that there are many reasons we choose to reincarnate in a certain family, place, time, body, personality, etc. Choosing to be with "family" is only one consideration. Remember, also that family members from a previous lifetime may not be incarnate at the same time as you. Also, you probably have been with many different families in many lifetimes.

And most important, for me, is the love that flows between me and another person. Love is never limited just to blood family, and for me, loving connections are more important than family connections. Many of my closest friends this lifetime are people I have been family with before and many of my current family members are people I haven't been close with for many lifetimes.

Blessings,

Bob
